Why does Facebook messenger say invite friend to install messenger when they already have it installed and have chatted with me before?
It's important to realize that just because they “have chatted with you before”, that does not mean they have Messenger (or have ever had it).Messenger is just an app that lets you communicate with other Facebook users through Facebook’s chat network. This is of course also done through the website, and it would show up in the app just the same.Therefore, if you are chatting with someone through Messenger, they may very well be using the website, not Messenger. (You can tell by the lack of messenger icon near their profile picture).If that icon is there (not the Facebook “f” icon, the messenger lightning bolt in a chat bubble icon) and it's still asking you to invite them to Messenger, something is wrong and you have found a bug. Otherwise, they don't have Messenger. It could be that they uninstalled it, but more likely they never had it. It's a separate app from Facebook so most people don't think to install it unless prompted to.
My friend is active on Facebook but the green dot isn't showing?
Your friend might turned off chat that's why you doesn't see the green dot or he/she turned off chat for you. You can turned off chat for specific people.Or maybe you turned off your chat. You are not able to see who's online if you turned off your chat.
No one wished me a happy birthday on Facebook?
my birthday was yesterday and no one wished me happy birthday on facebook. I'm just confused... I know people knew it was my birthday, because a lot of people wished me happy birthday and gave me presents and stuff in person, and one of my friends called to say happy birthday, but no one wrote on my wall on facebook... I have like 500 friends, and none of them bothered... it doesn't really matter to me (or it shouldn't matter) but i just have a weird feeling about it. like, did no one really care? idk... past years tho has never been a problem. I see other people who have birthdays this week and they all got lots of people writing on their walls and it just makes me feel like i have no friends, which i know isn't true, but i guess on facebook i'm really unpopular or something. how can i stop caring/stressing about this? why did no one write on my wall? wow this is such a first world problem i can't even.... but please help!

I haven’t been able to find a clear answer on the “will the person know you have blocked them?” question, but here is a way to find out if YOU have been blocked - as well as some other useful information from the Facebook help directories:Go to a friend's chat box, Tap on the DP; Scroll down and you will find the option Block. Now, You can either block the messages or the person itself. If someone has blocked you on Facebook then you will not be able to see his/her profile nor you could see his/her personal information.When you block messages from someone:When you block messages from someone:They'll no longer be able to contact you (ex: send you messages, call you) in Messenger or in Facebook chat.You'll also no longer be able to contact them in Messenger or in Facebook chat.If you and the person you block are in a group conversation together, you'll be notified before you enter the conversation. How do I delete someone off Facebook Messenger?
