Why does ham taste so different than pork chops if they come from the same animal?
Everyone seems to be stuck on the word "cured" with hams. This is not true with all hams. Alot of hams are boiled( such as the ones we use to make a ham and cheese sandwich). Cured are in the same family as Prosciutto and Smithfield.Parma prosciutto is cured but not smoked.Smithfield is both cured and smoked. Theres many variations. Speck for instance is a smoked and cured prosciutto. Neuskes are boiled and smoked but not cured. So basically, if you took a pork chop and smoked it( the Germans actually do this), it would taste like a smoked ham but not like a cured ham or a fresh ham roast. Likewise if you took a raw pork chop and a fresh ham and baked them, they would have a similar taste. Let me try to simplify it further.Bresola( air dried beef) tastes nothing like a steak nor does beef jerky although they come from the same animal and even the same cut of beef. Curing meats was done centuries ago before refridgeration was around to keep meat from going bad. Very good question!

Content must be licensed per country. Therefore, it only makes sense to license content in a country if customers would actually want to watch it.For example, different countries may enjoy different shows and movies.Mexican Telenovas are not as popular in the Netherlands as they are in Latin America. So it would not be a good use of money (or make for a good customer experience) to spend money on those programs outside of Latin American.Some content is not available in the popular local languages so there would be no point in having the content in that country either.The same piece of content may cost different amounts of money depending on the country. It may be cost-effective to license content for one country, but not another.

For the same reason that that happens everywhere else in the world. Except that variations in English and accents from one region of the U.S. to another is a lot less than that in Great Britain, which is a much smaller place.Many actors from the American West Coast can play roles written for Easterners without making any attempt to put on a different accent. Of course, there are distinct accents from the South, New England, New York City and environs, and the Upper Midwest. But they seem to be declining, generally.

Different elements show different emission spectra. When energy is supplied to atoms of an element. The electrons absorb energy and get exited and go to higher energy level. The energy levels are quantized so electrons will absorb a fixed amount of energy to go to higher energy level. The exited electron come back to ground state ( lower energy) level ( which is also fixed). The difference of energy is also fixed. This difference of energy is relesed in the form of radiation. Wavelength ( or frequency) of radiation is fixed as difference of energy is fixed. Wavalengh and frequency are related to each other. Wavelength is inversely proportional to each other. Atoms of diferent elements have different but fixed differnce of energy levels so different spectra will be obtained for differnt elements. E2 - E1 = difference of energy E2 -E1 = h x frequency of radiation whereas h is Plancks constant. wavelength = 1 / frequency

Why do different religions have different Gods but the same Devil?Because they don’t.Even in the religions that all follow the God of Abraham, each group does not have the same hell and definitely not the same devil. The Jewish Torah did not have a hell, rather a place called Sheol, which was at best a sort of purgatory that one might go to temporarily.The Christians & Muslims have upgraded Sheol to Hell, and right and proper place of eternal torment including but not limited to: a separation from God, flaying of skin, eternal burning, and every nasty torture devised by man to be inflicted on the non compliant for infinity.Native Americans did not have a hell, nor even a concept of heaven until after the introduction of Christianity into their ideology.Buddhism does not have a hell, nor does Hinduism.Maybe you shouldn’t make such assumptions….I realize that many religious folks want to think that, even though there are 1000’s of differing religions and 1000’s of differing dogmas that accompany those religions, somehow there is some profound congruity between all of them. If you don’t look at any of them very hard then you can convince yourself that this is true. However, with a little research and an open mind, you can clearly see that no two groups are actually worshiping the same god or group of gods.Some people will believe whatever they want to believe, regardless of all the evidence to the contrary.

Let's deal with horses first. They have a different intestines: just a single stomach, and a large part of digestion runs in the first, sac part of large intestine. Deer and cattle, on the other ahnd, are ruminants. that means they have a higlju specialised, 4-part stomach filled with bacteria, to help them vith digestion. The large part of it depend on regurgitation and finely grinding the plants so bacteria can attack all the celulose and provide edible substances. Ruminants, in fact, get their protein mainly as products from their symbiotic bacteria, including dead microbes themselves. Now to the differece between deer and cow poo. Actually, the only big difference is water content. Cattle apparently does not have a problem approaching the water, have little to none natural predators and so there was no need to preserve water in their organisms. Smaller ruminants, on the other hand, have multiple predators and they are especially vulnerable when drinking water. Not losing water with poop proved an evolutionary advantage to them. Besides, taking care of water can prove beneficial in other less than friendly enviroments.
