Why Does It Feel Good To Be Able To Laugh At The Women For What They Need Me For

People laugh at me when I get angry...Why?

I am a 38 year old woman, I have 3 kids, and it takes alot to get me angry or even pissed off... However when I do get mad, and want to have a disscussion I get laughed at... I don't care who it is... my boss, parents, kids, co-workers.... They laugh at me... I want to know how I can make people to take me seriously when I am angry.
My kids aren't meaning to be dissrespectful. And usually I will burst out laughing when I see them laughing at me...
My nick name is Chiuaua...

What are some things that make women feel powerful?

I actually once heard a woman say wearing high heels made her feel powerful in business meetings. I just laughed to myself.

As a guy I really feel no need to feel powerful. I often hear in the media the term, (Independent strong woman). I go to work and own a home and it doesn't make me feel powerful in anyway. I just consider myself no different then anyone. Yet, somehow if a woman manages to hold down a job, she's a strong independent woman, lol.

My whole point of question is simple, women have been independent and working for at least 50 years so why the pats on the shoulder. It's not like today women are held back in any way so why all the fluff? They make it sound like just a few women managed to escape and beat the odds. Yet, not one woman alive today faces oppression in the west. In fact your at an advantage if your a woman with all the protections and entitlement.

So what make you feel powerful and why do you need to feel powerful? I make a difference between feeling good about yourself and feeling powerful.

Do women really like guys who make them laugh, or is that something that guys who aren’t as tall, dark and handsome tell themselves?

In my experience, its not at all true when it comes to dating and relationships, but somewhat true when it comes to guys who get "Friend Zoned" or already are with someone. It seems like most women appreciate and love a sense of humor, but many women also have very specific kinds of humor that they like. For example, I have a very strong sense of humor, but mine's is in the line of dirty or offensive jokes and many women don't like those kinds of jokes. Almost no men have objected to them, however. Most women seem to love a sense of humor in a guy, yet I haven't met a single woman that actually thinks its an important trait to have in a partner. After all, how many stand-up comedians (who aren't famous) or clowns ever get laid? Its more like a small bonus, despite having "a sense of humor" and "confidence" being the two most universal traits women say they desire in a man. Confidence may be true, but funny guys rarely actually impress women on a romantic level, in my experience. Having other traits they value plus a sense of humor as a bonus is what women seem to want.EDIT: Also, I'm not tall, dark, and handsome, myself. I'm barely 5'11", I have a light complexion, and very few women consider me 'not ugly.' But I'm a great conversationalist and unique, to say the least. I'm no casanova. I just try harder than anyone else. I've gotten numbers on occasions, even with all my physical disadvantages.

Why does making a girl laugh feel so great?

It is really good if you feel great on making a girl laugh. And now the answer, coz a girl is a very emotional person. You know she has those hard times where expressing her feelings are socially unaccepatable. There are times when is made to realise that she has to be under a man, obeying him- maybe her father, brother or husband. If you make her laugh, it is like you are giving her importance (if you are intentionally making her laugh). Ask anyone, girls have the prettiest smiles, which can spread beauty all around and create a positive environment. Guys probably laugh when they joke around. But girls usually laugh when they talk about something they admire. You would never listen a boy group talking about a favorite actress and laughing at their innocent selfs. But you would definitely find girls giggling after talking about their TV crush. :)I know I mixed up everything in this answer. But I wrote everything I though about Girls' laughs. You try to interpret yourself :) :P

Why do people laugh at the pain of others?

Depends on what type of pain you’re talking about.Do you mean like when someone falls? You won’t really laugh when someone falls from a 7th floor in a building and ending up laughing, would you? However, when someone falls in the street, maybe an icy road? We laugh at the clumsiness of the situation.Do you mean laughing at someone else’s misfortune? This one’s called schadenfreude, it’s the feeling of joy some people get while seeing others fail, get hurt etc. This happens because when we see others fail, we feel better about ourselves. Thus giving us the joy that can make us laugh. In general, we laugh because our brain tells us to. There are several ways to look at it.You see, laughter isn’t just there and activated for humour or real ‘funny’ thing, laughter is also activated as a steam gauge, where a buildup of feelings prompts an outburst of laughter. In other words, laughter is also there to ease the tension of other emotions such as awkwardness, embarrassment and so on.Another way to look at laughter is as pain killers. Knowing that laughter releases endorphins into the blood thus working as pain killers. Since laughter is contagious, the person who fell, was in misfortune, may also laugh making it a win-win situation out of an awkward situation. The last reason would be because some people have pleasure with hurting others, they’re called sadists. It’s just how they are and how their brain works.Hope this helped

Why do guys like to make girls laugh?

Humor is one emotion that feels safe to a guy. If he says something and sounds stupid.....he can say he meant to sound stupid. If he sounds witty.....he can say he meant to sound witty.

That's why guys act like goofballs around girls, especially girls they like and/or just met. You've probably noticed that, as a guy becomes more comfortable with a girl, the goofball aspect kind of dies down (in many cases.)

Ladies: Do women like goofy, silly, weird guys?

Girls probably see you more as a friend, not a romantic interest. Making them laugh is good, but show interest in them.

People laugh at me because I am short....?

Hi all, any of you folks out there ever faced the same problem? (Sincerely hope not!!!)

It's just that I am short, around 5 ft 2 in, and everyone (men and women) in my office and at parties seem to make me the butt of their "short guy jokes". Of course, I am what I am - can't change that :-) - so I laugh it off with them, never complain.

But last week, an office colleague - a very nice, outspoken friend in fact - said "You shouldn't expect too much from life, given your stature - but it's all for the best - you don't have much to gain, but also not much to lose".

This kinda hurt, you know. Hurt bad. Although I am gainfully employed, get promoted often, still single but have a very loving family, I am beginning to feel like the whole world's laughing at the sight of me. I am beginning to think that guy was right about what he said to me.....

How does one deal with such self-pity?

Why do women moan during sex?

without using any variation of, "it feels good" why exactly do they feel the need to moan? do they HAVE to do it? do they just WANT to do it. is it a evolutionary trait to get the guy to ejaculate faster?
