Miniature Dachshund breeding questions?
1. All dogs are pregnant for an average of 63 days. 2. Probably 4 - 6. 3. Depends on when is the best time for you to be caring for a litter of puppies. 4. At least 2 years old, after all of the necessary health testing has been done. My best tip for you would be to find a reputable breeder of Miniature Dachshunds to mentor you. I would first have that person evaluate your b*tch to determine if she is breeding quality, both physically and in terms of her pedigree. If yes, I would get a list of books and videos from that person, and then study them all. If this person is going to have a litter, perhaps you could help... watch the delivery and help with the care of the pups. You also want to have cash set aside in case something goes wrong (C-sections always seem to be necessary late Sunday night), and all of your whelping supplies bought. Have someone show you how to care for newborn pups, in case your b*tch will not or you have lost her. Spend some time reading other folks' sales contracts and talk to breeders about how to interview and evaluate potential homes so that you do not unknowingly sell one of your pups into a bad environment.
Why don't cats ever eat all of their food?
Imagine this scenario:You have spaghetti. It’s hot, smells really good and your mom cooked it with love.You love it, but after some time, you notice you won’t eat it all, so you leave it where it is.“Thanks ma!” — you say.After an hour or two, you want some more, but you have noticed the spaghetti has dried, it’s cold and it doesn’t taste as good as it did before.So, what do you do? Eat it or heat it so it is hot and tasty again?This is what happens to cat food. They may like their food, but once they come back to eat again, they may want more because the food that was good back then is not that good anymore. Thing is croquettes get soggy and chewy.
