Why Does Literally Every Foundation Look Orange Or Pink On Me

Why does literally every foundation look orange or pink on me?

As a fellow Aussie, I can assure you that no one seems to value fair skin here. However in Asia, fair skin is like the only thing they care about lol. So go get yourself some foundation or BB cream from a Korean or Japanese brand online, everything's really pale. I recommend Skin79, The Face Shop, Etude House (only the Aqua Petit Jelly) or cream foundation by Shiseido. The first three products have a very neutral payoff and blend into the skin nicely, leaving a 'real skin' finish and adding a nice healthy glow :) But I'd lean towards the cream foundation, the coverage is really good. The Shiseido has a warmer tone to it, but blends like hot butter, making it look like you have naturally bronzed skin.

Also please, please don't go any tanner with your foundation. All my makeup artist cousins like cry every time they see someone with an orange-brown face and white neck. If anything go slightly whiter - adds a glow to your skin, slims your neck, blahblahblah.

Why does my foundation make my face look pink?

You're using the wrong color foundation. Foundations come with undertones of warm or cool. If your skin is warm toned and you use a cool toned foundation, it will make your face look pinker. Or the foundation is just very badly made and brings out too much of the undertone in its color.

Why does Donald Trump have orange skin?

Question: Seriously, why does Donald Trump have an orange complexion? For reasons known only to him and the few people with whom he might care to share his grooming secrets, Donald Trump uses a variety of spray-on tanning products to make him appear to be “tanned”, when they unfortunately make him appear to be orange. For reasons again only known to Trump, he continues to use these products even though it’s clear that he’s not tanning and that it’s been viewed as a source of humor when discussing him.The fact that it is a tanning spray (for those who might “dispute” the fact) is best seen by looking at the areas around his eyes and often on his neck. The tanning sprays leaves “raccoon eye patterns” where he wears protective goggles. And the spraying on his neck isn’t always “uniform” and you can see where lines in the creases of his skin have not receive an even “coating.”

How to look effortlessly beautiful?

You can't really look beautiful without effort, but you asked how to look effortlessly beautiful, meaning it doesn't look like you're trying too hard, to clear up what another user thought. :) Well, I'd recommend light, natural makeup. Don't use a bunch of foundation to make your face look all cakey, make sure your face isn't too matte or shiny. Maybe just use some concealer. Also, don't use any bright, neon colors. Go very easy on the eye shadow, maybe none at all, or just a simple peach color on the lid with maybe a brown color on the crease. Make sure to blend everything to avoid harsh lines. Also, avoid bold colors like hot pink on your lips, maybe go with a natural nude color, close to your natural lip color. Use a peach blush if you want, to give your face a natural flush, but don't overdo it with deep colors, or else you'll end up looking like those girls at my school with literally pink cheeks. =.= Remember, less is more, and it'll look like you barely put on any makeup. You'll just enhance your features. :)

As for hair, maybe try natural-looking waves or curls. Use a flat iron to make loose waves/curls instead of a curling iron for less uniform, messier waves/curls that will make people think it's natural. If your hair is straight like me, just leave it as it is, with maybe a tiny bit of frizz serum on the hair below the ears as to not make the hair look oily. Don't make your hair pin straight if it isn't already though. That'll just look a bit unnatural.

For clothes, maybe choose some earth-tones. The boho-look is definitely an effortless look, you can look on Google for some pictures to inspire yourself. But really, just try to be yourself, no matter how cliche that sounds. Don't overdress on the first day unless you're going to be wearing things like that every other day of the school year, meaning, don't come to school the first day wearing a cute dress, lots of pretty accessories, heels, and the rest of the year, you wear a t-shirt and jeans. :)

Should I opt for a foundation with the same undertones as my skin?

I have really pale skin (I'm half-Irish) and I have pink/cool undertones, so does this mean that when I purchase a foundation I should look for one with pink/cool undertones like my skin, or one which has yellow/warm undertones to counteract my skin tone? I literally have no idea how this even works haha I would be so grateful if someone could explain it to me and recommend any good products whether they be drugstore or not, although I've found with drugstore foundations they are never light enough and leave my skin orange. I have combination skin too and my t-zone gets pretty oily throughout the day. Also I'm from the UK so I don't think I can get products from brands like Covergirl or from places like Walmart or Sephora. I'm using the Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation in 1C0 Shell at the moment which is the lightest one they do, and it controls my oily t-zone really well but it just looks a little pink but then I don't know if thats what all foundations would look like on me considering my pink undertones?
Thank you for reading this and I apologise for how long it is!!!

Why do I look bad with makeup?

Im 18 and ive been wearing makeup on and off for the past 3 or 4 years. It's been a little over half a year since ive really worn any makeup. I've literally just been washing my face, using moisturizer, and that's it. But I used to wear makeup on a daily basis about a year ago, and then I realized that it just makes me look weird. Makes my eyes smaller, nose look bigger, etc. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I don't know. I'm Italian, so my skin is very olivy yellow, I've got a lot of skin and darkness around my eyes and bad bags, and a nice big Italian nose. So it's hard to find a foundation to match my skin without making it look orangy or blotchy or dirty, it's hard to cover up my bags and darkness (they're hereditary, so no amount of sleep or drinking water will change them) without noticing the concealer(some concealers actually make them more noticeable), and for whatever the reason, makeup makes my nose look bigger. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I don't know. I'm the only person to ever do my makeup but I've done my research. So what's maybe a simple look I should try, especially for my eyes that won't make them look so small and tired? Theres also I large space between my eyelid and eyebrows. I guess I have high eyebrows, I dunno, but it looks really strange when I highlight my brow bone since its so far from the rest of the makeup around my eyes. And what colors are good for green eyes? If any one can help, it would be greatly appreciated. :)
