We don't feel guilty but it's kind of awkward considering that my parents and her parents would have NO idea what to say or do if they found out. (he holds onto it) -he told me about all the "rebellious" things he does after his parents go to sleep (maybe to impress me.. ?) -he put his arm across my back really tightly when we took a group photo There's a lot more things. Although I wouldn't say it's natural to compare ourselves to others, it is certainly something we're taught and encouraged to do as we're growing up, even if unintentionally. And while I know several people who have done way more than me by this point in their lives...I also know a lot of people who are just starting out, or even starting over after a first attempt didn't go so well for them. There's nothing wrong with them, and there's nothing wrong with me, either. There's not a time limit on life, success, or happiness.Take a good look at your relationship with your cousin. Is she really looking down on you, or do you feel defensive about some aspect of your life because you're unhappy with it, or you perceive it to be inferior to hers? And if you feel defensive, is it because something is really wrong with your life in some way, or is it simply because you're using someone else's measuring stick on yourself?We all feel jealous or insecure at times. The important thing is not to let those momentary feelings become constant intruders into our relationships. If it turns out there's something you don't like about your life, focus on changing that. Hey so my cousin has a physical for High school sports (he is going to be a sophomore after the summer) in 13 days. He smoked some green stuff (if you know what i mean) today and is scared that he will fail if they give him a drug test. Do they give drug tests for hs sport physicals??
