Why does the show family guy always like make fun of asians?
I've always to like to watch family guy. it always make me laugh. But i've noticed that a lot of episodes that use asians to make comedy. They don't do the same for black people or any other ethcities. im not saying they should. but they have crossed the line about asians. I usually don't take shows too seriously, espeically comedies but i am rather offended by their repeatly offensive ways that they show asians to be like. One example would be the episode i saw last night. you probably haven't seen if you're not a big family guy fan. but it is at the begginging of the episode peter had planned a second honey moon and he crashed the car in a tree because he wasn't paying attention. So they decided to stay in the hotel. Somewhere, ( i wasn't really paying attention, i was doing hw) peter and his wife was watching news and there was an asian reporter who wasn't allowed to enter the hotel. they showed in a such a fashion to humilate asians. why are they allowed to this?
Why does Family Feud always have a black family vs. a white family?
Every episode! It's crazy. I've never seen a black family vs. a black family, a white family vs. a white family, or any other races. It's always black vs. white. Do they do that on purpose? It seems very disproportionate; black people represent 12% of the US population, white people represent 63%, Hispanics represent 17%, and Asians represent 5%. Is it just a coincidence?
My future husband doesn't laugh at my jokes. My friends and family think I'm hysterical. What's his deal?
Uh perhaps your not as funny as YOU and YOUR family and friends think...at least not to him-- I found nothing funny about any of your listed sarcasms...BUT that is me and it doesnt mean your not funny...your just not MY kind of funny.
Friend always jokes about suicide. kinda worried?
First off he jokes a lot. All the time, it's what he's known for. He drinks a lot, almost every night. But whether he's drunk or not he always makes jokes about killing himself. None of his family sees to notice it and if they do they never say anything, but it's starting to worry me. He'll say things like "I'm just gonna drink a bunch of alcohol and jump off the bridge" or he says "will you miss me?" "you're gonna regret doing that when you hear that I jumped off it" "I can't take this **** anymore, im gonna jump" and just all types a things like that, but in a joking matter. Also when he's drunk he tell me he does it to help him deal with his problems and he says he feels better when he's drunk. I'm so confused, because i don't know if it's just a silly joke. He's been saying stuff like that for a long time now, but like i said he has a joking personality..im so confused. Deep down though, I feel like there is some truth behind it... Am I overreacting ? what am I supposed to say when he says stuff like that ? what should i do ?

Why do you need to reply? I understand that you want to defend yourself against them, but anything you tried would probably blow up in your face. The people you are describing sound like bullies and bullies love when they get you upset! If you try to ��defend” yourself to them, they will have won.I get it, it’s not fair. Well, life’s not fair. Deal with it. I don’t mean to be discouraging, I just mean that if you let things like this get to you, you’re going to have trouble being happy. You have to just let it go. That will make it less fun for the bullies, so they’ll probably leave you alone.When someone in a group I’m in doesn’t like me, for whatever reason, I treat them the same was I treat the rest of the group. It doesn’t usually take too long for them to stop disliking me. I’m just too darned nice to them, in spite of the fact that they make sure I know they don’t like me. I don’t behave the way I do in order to get them to like me. I do what I do because that’s who I am.I am a very kind, considerate person. That means I can’t just be kind and considerate to people who are kind and considerate to me. Anybody can do that, it doesn’t take a kind, considerate person to do that. But I behave that way to everybody, no matter how they treat me. The result usually is that people end up liking me, or at least not being able to justify to themselves being unkind to me. But that’s not why I do it. I do it because that’s who I choose to be. So, you’re going to have to ask yourself who you choose to be.And karma has a way of working things out, too. Do what you believe to be best in the world and let the universe take care of the rest.
How do I stop getting upset when people joke or make fun of me?
We all got teased for various things— and I am not even kidding— they will find something, even if you are the most attractive person in the world— they will say you have big ears or a weird chin or you walk funny. There is no escaping the cruelty of bullying really, you just let it fly right over you and don’t absorb it. You can always say something back. If they are making fun of you for being short and too quiet, you can say “Yep, I’m short and quiet, what about it?” and shrug like you don’t even care. It can go like this (not that you would want to do this, but an example:)Them: “ Hey, where are you going shortie? Going to be quiet somewhere?”You: Look them in eye and say “Yep, that’s me. The quietest, shortest guy/girl in the world” and look bored and unamused.Them: ‘Why are you so quiet? Why don’t you talk?”You: “Guess I don’t have much to say. Must be because I’m so short, huh?”You basically repeat what they say back to them in a bored manner. When you parrot someone like this, it makes them look like they don’t have good material. You continue this with any and all rude remarks, and it knocks the fun out of it for them.
