Why Does My Hair Keep Falling Out Not A Lot Falls Out Just Strands

Why does my hair keep falling out?

I went through this & it got so bad for me that I actually called my doctor about it. I was told that stress causes it. My hairdresser told me use Pantene Restoratives & it has helped tremendously. I see MUCH less hair loss now.

Good luck honey, I feel your pain.

Why does the hair fall out so much more after not brushing it for a couple of days?

It's just all those hairs that have already fallen out caught up in your hair. When you brush it finally, they all come out. Nothing to be too concerned about

Hair is falling out in long strands?

I'm kind of fretting over this.

Past 2 weeks, a number of hair strands fall out after I wash or comb. My hair did not use to fall out this much. I doubt its from breakage because the strands are the longest part of my hair.

When I ran my fingers through my hair last night while I was washing it..strands and strands just kept a-coming. This unusual for me.

I trim my hair, I'm not taking any current medications, I'm not under stress, I do not use excessive heat, My diet is fine..

I cannot find anything that is wrong..!
If this is temporary how long is this suppose to go on? I'm terrified my hair is going to go thin.

Why are strands of my hair falling out everytime i run my hand through my hair?

This happens to me too and im thirteen..hopefully someone knows..

My hair keeps falling out?

Okay, first things first, hair loss can come from a variety of reasons, but before you get really upset, know that you lose about 60 hairs every single day, so that can be part of your loss. Now, if your diet is deficient in protein, vitamin A, vitamin B complex - then you can start to lose more hair. If you are under a lot of stress, you can lose more hair. If you drink coffee or soda, the acid in either of them can cause your hair to become brittle and break. If you are deficient in Calcium and Magnesium you can lose hair. If you are dehydrated you can lose hair.

So, first things first, get your hair trimmed about 1/2 inch to clean up the ends. Second, go buy a shampoo that has Keratin in it, Keratin is protein - hair is made up of protein and you need to be eating lots of protein for hair to be healthy. When it's not you can help it along with shampoo and conditioner. So, get some keratin shampoo - there's plenty out there, have a look https://www.google.com/search?q=shampoo+...

And, improve your diet by eating more protein, and reduce snacks, caffeine, soda and salt too.

To top off you need to be drinking a lot of water right now, moisturize your body but good. Get some multi-vitamins to take at least one daily to help improve your body's well-being. Follow all these tips and see how things are in 4 weeks. You should notice some improvement. And last, make sure you are getting enough sleep - not sleeping well adds stress to the body, and that impacts health, and yup, hair. Hair loss is a sign that something's wrong with the body, it's up to you to improve your body's health and the hair condition will most likely improve.

Why does strands of hair fall out every time i pick or rub my hand on my hair?

Im 15 yrs old and i have black really curly hair and every time i rub my hand on my head or pick/comb my hair alot of strands comes out its about 100 or more strands and my hair doesnt seem any diffrent just messy.
Also my hair doesnt seem long because its always cury but its like a mini afro when i pick it out.

My Hair falling out alot?

There are a few things you need to consider here. Everyone has hair loss everyday, between 50-200 strands a day. There is a condition called "traction alopecia" where blood is restricted to the capillaries that nourish the hair strands by "traction", usually cause by tying it up. ( You'll notice alot of ballet dancers have this condition) Other things to consider are your hormones, lifestyle and a possible allergic reaction to foods, vitamin deficiancies and the like.

What I would recommend, as a hairdresser, is that you go and speak to a Trichologist, they are for hair and scalp what a dermatologist is for the skin. You can find them in your local Yellow Pages.

DON'T PANIC!!! You are young and there is more than likely a simple explanation for your current situation.

Best of luck
