Why Does My Headset Not Receive Sound Fully

iPhone 5 receives call, but cannot hear the caller. What are some suggestions to fix it? Is this phone completely broken?

Try those reseting/ restoring options first,if it doesn't help, then there are still few things to try, apart from above suggestions, to determine the actual problem. 1. Press volume up/down button a few times on the home screen, see whats written on the volume bar screen, is it showing "headphones" or "ringer", if it shows "headphones" with no headphone plugged in, then most likely the headphone jack circuit is shortened.2. if above showed "ringer", most likely the hearing speaker on the top of the phone is busted, or the circuit connection from the hearing speaker is cut off.3. if the replacing the hearing speaker doesnt help and the circuits are not cut off, then most likely u21 IC is busted.

Why does Turtle Beach x42 sound quieter then it should?

Not too sure make sure all connections are plugged in fully if i turn my x42s all the way up for more than a few minutes they will make my ears bleed so if it isent uncomfortably loud there is defiantly something wrong.

Why is the sounds so low on my headset?

I have a samsung level on pro headset, and the bluetooth sound is sooo low! But when I hook a cord/wire to it, the sound is amazing. I tried using it on other phones and the same results. I even have it fully charged and still the same. My brother gave them to me after finding them at the gym. (He works there btw, and of course he wanted 2 weeks for someone to claim them before taking the headset home)

Why do my headphones sound distorted?

Hello, here is a guide for you: Why Headphones Make Crackling Noises And How to Fix It? It has listed some reasons why headsets make crackling noises as:#1- Loose wireThe wires allow the electronic signals to be sent to and from the speakers. The rubber coating surrounding the headphone wires are mostly thin which can easily be bent and disconnect the signals which may cause crackling sound in the headphones. It can be the primary reason why your headphone is producing crackling noise, or it may be an indication that its high time you start searching for a new pair of headphones.#2- Defective headphone jackThe apparent cause of crackling headphones can be due to the defective headphone jack. The easiest and full proof way to check your headphone jack is working properly or not is by plugging it into several ports and that too in different devices. When plugging in, make sure that the headphone jack is plugged adequately in the port. Any loosing or partial plugin will cause crackling sound because of poor electrical signal transfer. This method will easily tell you whether your headphone jack needs to be fixed or your device port.#3- Poor equalizationThe headphone crackling can be caused due to the poor quality of audio or because of poor EQ setting of the media player. If the settings are not set properly like bass or treble settings are too high or the volume max out beyond the certain recommended limit, it can cause crackling and bursting sound which can actually harm both the ears and the headphone speakers. Therefore, it is highly recommended not to listen at higher volume, and it is the major reason for sound crackling because the headphone speakers are not designed to produce a sound more than the set volume.#4- Broken speakersIf the problem is not caused by all three above, then the chances are that the headphone speakers are broken. The reason for the loss can be because of listening to the music on high volume, poor handling, long term wear and tear or due to damaging of wires. If the warranty is still there, then you can expect replacement or repair under stated terms and condition, if not, then it’s high time you should buy some new headphones. These are some of the root causes why headphones make crackling noise which can either force you to buy a new set or spend some bugs on its repair. But wait! Before jumping to spending the money, let’s know some possible fixes which can genuinely save money.……Hope this helps!

Price does not matter but I cannot go over 105 so feel free to suggest headsets but not over 105$
(also I want a strong pair that wont easily break that is why im deciding between these two)

Why do headphones make low buzzing noises? Sometimes they are not fully plugged in.

Headphone plugs have a left, right, and ground loop. All three bands must meet the same three connectors inside the headphone jack. When you put the plug in partially, the three bands are open (not connected to the bands inside the jack) so any noise coming from the signal can be heard through the headphones. Once the plug is fully depressed, each band creates an infinite loop so all you should hear is music from the left and right channel while the ground is theoretically neutralized.

Why does my earphones work on others' phones, but not on mine?

The obvious way to tell is to try another set of known-good earphones on your phone. If they don’t work either, the problem is in your phone (possibly the jack, or somewhere else in the audio chain). If you have the odd situation where only the one combination of earphones and device is failing, and other combinations work OK, it’s possible there is a subtle mismatch in dimensions between the components. If you are using a case make sure that it is not interfering with the ability to fully insert the headphone plug.

My new ps3 EX-01 Bluetooth headset from Gioteck is not working!?

My new headset from gioteck is not working it's for my ps3 and I can hear my friends but I can't hear the game! Is this normal or did I set it up wrong?

My phone doesn't recognize earphones when I plug them in. Absolutely no response. What should I do?

Is it an Android phone ? or Apple ?If it is Android, when you adjust the phone volume, there will be a symbol at the right that looks like either a gear wheel or an arrow pointing down. If you tap this, it will display 4 separate volume controls. The Media volume has to be higher than zero, for any sound to come out for music, or game audio. This volume is separate to the volume level used for ringtones and speaking/hearing on a call.If the volume level is correct:Try the headphones on another device, to check that they work properly, or try another pair of cheap earphones in the connector. Sometimes the earphones connector seems like it is pushed all the way in, but is not completely in. They often make a click noise when they are pushed in completely. Also, check the rating of the earphones, are they standard earphones ? or fancy ones ?Sometimes the Ohm rating is too high, so the device can’t drive the earphones unless the volume is higher than normal, or an amp is used.If the headphones work on another device, and a second pair of headphones doesn’t work with the phone either, then it sounds like the connector has a wiring fault.
