Why Does My Instagram Not Upload My Videos

Instagram video upload fail?

I have a video that keeps failing to upload. I keep hitting retry, it keeps uploading for like a minute or more and then fails. I have been trying to upload it all day now. I tried switching from 3G to WIFI and still dsnt work, I upload photos and they work, I upload another video and it works, but that particular video that is failing keeps failing. I dont want to hit cancel or restart the phone otherwise I will have to shoot that video all over again since Instagram does not allow to browse for a video to upload like for photos. Any suggestions / help please?

Why does my uploaded Instagram video black out or add green lines at the bottom?

The vesion of instagram may not compatible, so try for upgrade or uninstall then reinstall.Go to Settings

My instagram videos wont process or upload?

I'm having the same problem but its only with videos that are a combination of numerous clips. The videos that are one strait shot load smoothly. Any of mine that have 3 or more clips will not get through the processing stage and if I restart my iPad the video disappears. I'm so bummed I made one yesterday that took all day lol, it would have been awesome.

Instagram video upload problem - "we could not process this video."?

I have previously uploaded videos from my android phone to instagram with no problems. Just yesterday I got an error message "we could not process this video."

I even tried uploading the same videos I uploaded in the past & get the same error message. I'm questioning whether it's the latest Android Update... Anyone have a fix for this?

Why do my instagram account won't allow me to upload video more than 15 seconds (up to 60 sec) while my friends can do it?

Double check if you have updated the latest version of the application. If you already have and the app would still not let you upload videos more than 15 seconds, visit Instagram Help Center and raise your concerns.

Why can't I upload a video to Instagram with my Android device? Pictures upload just fine.

I’ve encountered that few times as well. Try the common debugging options like restarting the app (and phone), clearing the app cache. Next see if you have good connection (faster wifi would be ideal).Of course make sure your video is not more than 60 seconds in length. You should still be able to open the video on Instagram, but you need to trim it.What helped me was simply not posting the video right away. While you write your post caption the video is already being uploaded. If you hit post before the video is actually uploaded it can time out while “processing” so try waiting few minutes on the caption editing screen before posting the video. As this answer has been getting a lot of views, I decided add few more things here.Try uploading the same video from different internet connection. Instagram doesn't play nice with all internet connections and as these files tend to be large you might encounter issues.Try uploading the same video from different account. If that works, then it might be just a temporary issue with your main account. So try again later.Try uploading the video from different device.Try uploading a different video (preferably smaller one). If that works than look at the file size of the video file you wanted to upload in the first place. Maybe it’s unreasonably big (as in few GB or something)? Try compressing it first. And of course keep in mind that videos take time to be uploaded, so be patient. I’ve waited like 5 min for few videos (crazy right?).Hope that helps!Hit me up in Instagram, if you need assistance. Also if you’re interested in growing your Instagram account. I’ve put together a free e-mail course for you!Cheers,Johannes

Why can't I upload a video to Instagram stories when the exact same clip uploads fine as an Instagram post? It just says to retry.

It’s hard to say just like that, but my first guess is: the age :-) Not from you, not from your viewers, or your account, but the age of your video! You can upload any clip as an Instagram post, but Instagram Stories only accepts live footage, or clips recorded in the past 24 hours. This is due to the nature of the concept: live stories :-)
