Why Does My Iphone Turn Dark When I Tilt It

I spilt tea over my phone?!?

Last night, I know im abut clumsy. But I was walking up the stairs with my iPad iPhone and tea. As I went to turn the light on I was holding to much, and I tilted the cup and dropped my phone. The phone was fine from the fall, but the tea went all over my screen. I had a bumper case on that covers sides and back. I also have a protector on, I think a bit went in the top speaker were the front camera is! But last I put it in a bowl of rice and it's now working fine, but could there still be damage? I'm on contract, and haven't fot warranty thanks.

Perfume spilled on iPhone 5, screen all dark with spots? What do I do? Or what happened?

My perfume broke in my bag and I didn't know until like an hour later, and now my phone screen is grey and blue? I can see a lot of white spots too and when I tilt it I can see like a puddle shape. Please help me I'm freaking out. How can I fix this? Will it be like this forever?

How do you tilt your screen in your iPhone?

There are, I believe, two methods for rotating content on the screen.1.) The portrait orientation lock is located on the first pane of the Control Center. It is an image of a padlock with a circle around it and an arrow in the circle indicating rotation. When activated, its background turns red.2.) The other way screen rotation is controlled is by the foreground app. An app can ignore the rotation lock if so designed. Often, if the portrait orientation lock is off, the app will format content to either landscape orientation. By that I mean, you can choose whether to have the home button on the left or right as you watch video or play a game in landscape. If the portrait orientation lock is on, then the app usually restricts you to having the home button on the right **or** doesn't allow landscape orientation at all.

Why do I see rainbow-like patterns when I view my iPhone screen through polarized glasses?

Because all LCD screens use polarized light and you are seeing the interaction of the polarizing filter in your glasses with that light which is causing moire patterns.LCD displays use transistors to "twist" liquid-crystal material, causing it to block the backlighting that allows you to see the screen on a pixel-by-pixel basis. That liquid-crystal material, however, can only block light that is oriented in a "single direction". For this reason, all LCD displays use polarizing filters to attenuate the backlight accordingly. When you look at polarized light through your glasses, you can easily see the interaction of the display's light source with your glasses (tilt and rotate the phone and you can likely watch this effect change).

What can I do if my iPhone's screen goes black for a second?

As for fix iPhone screen goes black, the first thing you should do is to force restart your device. Hold down the home and power button for 10s till the Apple logo occurs, then see if your phone resolves itself. But if your phone still won’t turn on, this might probably due to the firmware problem. You might need to put your iPhone in Recovery Mode or DFU mode to force restore the iOS system. But note that this method will erase your data and you are not able to recover them unless you have created a backup file before.Besides, you can also try the iOS System Recovery tool from FORecovery to figure out this issue. This program can help you repair a series of system issues without losing any data, which will be more safely.BTW, it would be better to find out the exact reason for the black screen, you can recall what you are doing before the iPhone screen goes black.Hope this can help.

Why does my video screen go black while watching a video on my iPhone?

I have noticed a software bug that turns the screen black if you cover up the proximity sensor when you hold it in landscape orientation watching a video. A reset of the phone fixes it immediately. I’m no software engineer, but its like the phone is still in call mode and does not disable the sensor.

How does Apple Pencil get charged by the iPad Pro?

The Apple Pencil is a big part of what makes the 9.7- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro really pro. It lets you write and draw fluidly, responsively, with full pressure sensitivity and tilt control. All you have to do is set it up and start using it! It's an incredibly simple process, but if you want to see before you do, follow along! The Apple Pencil works similarly to a real-world pencil, but not exactly like one.Tap the tip of the Apple Pencil on icons, buttons, and other interface elements to navigate around your iPad Pro. (Note: It's not actually capacitive like your finger so many swipes and other gesture-based navigation aren't supported.)Touch the tip of your Apple Pencil to your iPad Pro screen and move it to start writing a word or drawing a line.Press harder with the tip of your Apple Pencil on your iPad Pro screen to get a darker and/or broader line.Tilt the Apple Pencil sideways, touch it to your iPad Pro screen, and move it to start shading in larger areas.Because the Apple Pencil doesn't use capacitive multi touch, you can use your fingers for normal navigation. I some cases, you can even use your fingers and the Apple Pencil at the same time. For example, touch two fingers down in Notes and you'll get a ruler you can use to draw straight lines with the Pencil.

My mom's iPhone screen goes black if something (like a hand or finger) hovers above the camera. How do I fix this?

Doing a hard restart* of the device should fix it. One of my co-workers has the same issue a few weeks back on her iPhone 6S, and it fixed the problem.Looks like the issue is that the phone thinks it’s still on a call so it turns off thinking that you’re holding it up to your face. So while the other answers saying this is supposed to happen is technically correct if you are in a phone call. Once you hang up it should no longer turn off.*You can perform a hard restart by holding the power and home buttons down until the phone turns off and the Apple logo comes on the screen. Then release the buttons. On newer iPhones without a physical home button use the volume up and power button.

How do you fix it when the screen goes black while watching Netflix?

Get Silverlight | Microsoft SilverlightUninstalling and/or reinstalling the latest Silverlight add-on got rid of that annoyance for me, without changing monitor sleep settings, which were there for a reason, to conserve otherwise wasted power when away from desk.I guess Windows update doesn't do that, but it must list under optional "non-critical security hole patches" in the updates, and who would think to do update Silverlight unless the version were so old that it failed to work, which it did in my case.It gives a message when turning on full screen, at the top, that it would be better to "use Chrome or Internet Explorer," a message that I have either "Dismiss" or I can select "Do not show again."   (Who uses Internet Explorer?  :\ ) I use Firefox and this Google Disconnect addonDisconnect for Chrome browser from Chrome store (they removed this from Google Play Android apps for phone devices.  I don't know if they have put it back up.  It's still accessible from the link below.Disconnect.me/   (developers site (includes mobile version))I have to do this every time I watch Netflix or Amazon Video after using CCleaner, as well as turn back on the closed captioning settings.  I guess I could allow Silverlight to be in the Whitelist.  Still, it's better than having to change my Power and Sleep settings just to wach movies.

Why do my eyebrows look even and nice when i look in the mirror, but they turn out looking uneven in pictures?

Pictures don't always look the way you look in the mirror because in the mirror you tend to make little adjustments in how you're tilting your head or turning or whatever and you don't even realize it. So when you go to take pictures, you can't look at yourself and make those adjustments so it turns out a bit different. Good luck!
