Why Does My Jaw Feel Funny

Jaw feels funny help?

Ask your doctor about this. Your Nervous System makes up your brain, spine, and the PNS. Peripheral nervous system. That's every little nerve in your big toe to your elbow. When you have that chill in your jaw, it may be the nerves malfunctioning slightly. The nerves send messages that travel through certain parts of the body. Just talk to a doctor soon and in the mean time take some pain killer if it hurts. But why only raisins? Maybe it is a alergic reaction from raisins. Please try to avoid raisins because this may only be a small and minor alergy. But see a doctor and take painkiller and avoid raisins until you get checked.

Jaw feels weird when I'm high?

Lately when I smoke weed my jaw feels weird when I'm high. I go for hours sometimes just massaging my jaw cause while it feels bomb to massage it, sometimes it gets annoying. It doesn't really bother me when I'm not high, it only seems to happen when I am. Is there any connection between the two or is it in my head. The symptoms of TMJ seem to match what I'm feeling. Any response would be great.

My teeth feel funny....?

Your teeth will naturally shift when ever you have work done like getting a tooth pulled. The teeth shift to fill the new open space. Other than that I really can't think of a reason that your teeth would be shifting around. It might be a good idea to contact a dentist about your concerns. I would imagine that they would have the type of background to know better whats going on in your mouth.

Why does my jaw tingle after drinking beer? It doesn't always happen. Most notably, it only really happens when I drink a beer in social settings.

Ok,  So after years of this same sensation; painful tingling after 2 or so alcoholic beverages of any type - Internet searching it, I couldn't find anything that could remotely explain it, that is, until last night!I was in an Uber with our Aussie friends after a night of drinking and I was massaging my jaw, because the pain was getting to the point that I could not ignore it. I asked them about it, if they had ever experienced it, and they were like -oh yeah- that's just your jaw muscles (the ones right under the ear that attach your skull to your jaw) relaxing from the alcohol.  Many people carry a lot of tension there. If you ever notice yourself clenching your teeth, or if grind your teeth while you sleep, this is a sign that you are one of the many that carry stress here -without even realizing it. You drink a skosh of booze, and the muscles begin to relax. It this relaxing of the muscles that causes the painful tingling -typically last 10 -30 minutes or a few more drinks till it stops.Voila!!!! I'm surprised that I wasn't able to figure it out on my own, and even more surprised that the internets was only full of answers that definitely didn't work for me.  /facepalm

Weird feeling in my ear when I chew/move my jaw?

Not sure if this belongs in dental, but it did start with pain due to my teeth not "fitting together" right for a few days. Now my teeth are fine, and the pain's gone, but when I move my jaw (or chew on the right side), I get an odd discomfort in my right ear. It's similar to the "pressure" you feel when your ear pope, but it's only in one ear and correlated to my jaw moving. What might be the problem?

Why do I feel weird after I eat Chinese food?

I just ate Chinese food and now my head feels all weird and pressurized. Everytime I eat Chinese food, for about 15 minutes afterwards, I feel weird. My head feels heavy and I feel somewhat shaky. It's nothing major, or I wouldn't keep eating it. Just wondering if it's some sort of sauce or something that maybe I wouldn't normally eat.

Why does my jaw hurts after a tooth extraction?

Many reasons. The trauma of removing a tooth tears the gums and expands the bone in the jaw.If you mean by jaw your jaw joint. Then possibly th pressure put on that joint during the extraction inflamed the joint causing pain. You could have an infection which require antibioticsYou could have a dry socket which mean the bone in the socket where the tooth was has not healed because of lack of blood flow most common in smokers. You could have food stuck in the socketYou could just be wimpy-just kidding hope you feel better soon. My jaw feels weird? Help me please?

the muscles in the back of your jaw are getting tight and need to be released. Here is how to do that:
Put your fingers on your head so your thumbs are behind your ears. Place your thumbs next to the skull and on the back of your jawbones and press into the jaw and hold pressure there. After 30 seconds slowly raise your head until your neck is fully extended and then open your mouth all the way. Now release the pressure but hold your head and mouth like that for another 30 seconds.
