Windows 7 search function can't find files?
I use the search function to sort through a bunch of unorganized ebooks on my computer. Recently, the search function has started to fail when I try to look for specific files (most of them are .pdf). The files are still there, and they still work fine, but the search function refuses to acknowledge this fact. It has been able to successfully find these files before, but it stopped doing so last week. from what I am able to tell, the search function isn't just avoiding specific files, it refuses to find anything in entire folders (even things that I have never opened or even touched before). How do I fix the search function?

Hello, my Yahoo search function is not working and I know you understad how important it is in working properly via emails. Is there anything to do? I am a new member in Yahoo, so I am still considering to get to another email company.
Permanently deleted contacts still show up in search window when you type a part of the email or name?
Hi Nancy P, Autocomplete suggests email addresses as you type, based on contacts from your address book and contacts that you have sent messages to in the past. Suggestions are sorted in order or relevance, rather than in alphabetical order. While you can't turn off the Autocomplete feature, you can stop a contact's email address from appearing in it. To delete a contact from the Autocomplete suggestions: 1. When an unwanted contact appears as a suggestion, hover over it in the suggestions list. 2. Select the "X" to the right of the name. 3. A pop-up appears asking if you are sure you want to delete the email address. Select Delete. The contact's email address no longer appears as a suggestion in the Autocomplete list. Note: If the email address you are deleting is also in your Yahoo! Contacts, removing it from Autocomplete automatically removes the address from your Yahoo! Contacts. The contact remains, but the contact's email address is removed. Best regards, Kyle
Windows 10 search function not working?
When i go and click the windows button on the bottom right corner of my screen and search for something it doesn't work like it did in windows 10 is this intentional or is there something wrong with mine? For example on windows 7 i could search up iTunes and the program would pop up but on windows 10 it doesn't do that it tries to search through my stuff but never finds anything.
I can't clear my Yahoo search history!?
I have tried everything to clear my Yahoo search history. I did all the usual stuff with Internet explorer and Mozilla. I don't have a pencil Icon on the Yahoo toolbar, so I downloaded one, but it doesn't pop up when I access Yahoo. What gives?

How do I delete my search strings in Yahoo Search bar?
Not how do I delete my address bar. I know you do that under Tools/Internet Options, etc. I can't get this stuff out of Yahoo. We have many users on one computer in this house. I wish Yahoo never saved our searches as an "enhancement." Thanks for your help! :)
