Why Does No One In Easenders Own A Washing Machine.

Do you own a washing machine?

only a wash board how sad. will you buy me one?

My Washing Machine has a mind of its own!!?

The washing machine was left in the house I just rented... and we tried to do a test run ( empty) to see if it worked... Well it made it just fine to the rinse cycle and then STOPPED only to start up again and finish off the cycle MUCH LATER that night.... The next day we tried a second test run to have it make it to the SPIN cycle and STOP... only to again several hours later start up again on its own and finish off..... HELP !!! We have been told it might be the TIMER... any ideas.... at this point Im thinking its Possessed!

Washing mashine not working?

Possibly a failed water inlet solenoid. I quite often come across this on machines of any make.
But first check that the inlet pipe is not kinked and its filter is not choked. If in doubt get a local appliance engineer to check and advise.

Eastenders ... Have you also noticed that ?

Tanya is the only one that owns a washing machine but she still goes to the launderette.

1) No one's babies ever seem to grow

Why do English people use the word 'innit' so much?

Mostly, they don't. Your basic premise is wrong. But it is used quite a lot by some young people, mainly young men, and particularly young men whose families came from the Indian subcontinent fairly recently, and whose use of English is still fairly approximate. They quite often tend to tack “innit” onto the end of sentences, rather in the way the French might add “N’est-ce pas?”, but without any real sense of asking for agreement. As an example, I had an Indian student a couple of years ago who came late to class one day, and when I asked why (because he was normally very punctual) he explained that he had turned 18 a few days earlier, and had therefore had to go (had to!!) to the estate agents to collect some details of houses he might decide to buy (just a couple of them to start with, at around £250,000 each!) to let out to tenants. Because, as he added, “It's the only way to make money these days, innit? Buy a few houses and fill ’em up with students, innit?”So yes, British, but not English. And still not usual or used by “most” people in the U.K.

Does watching a streamed video consume less data than downloading the full video?

It depends. If I download a video and watch the whole downloaded copy ten times, downloading was substantially less bandwidth. Ten times less. Streaming would have required doing the download again every time, whereas once downloaded, I can watch the local copy dozens or hundreds of time without additional bandwidth use.If I only watch a clip of thirty seconds from an hour long video once, streaming used far less bandwidth. I only downloaded the piece I used, plus perhaps an additional bit of buffer that I didn't.If I watched a whole video once and only once, it's a wash. But streaming is more convenient in that case since I don't have to wait for the whole download to finish in order to watch. I can start watching more or less immediately while the rest of the video downloads in the background, as long as my connection is fast enough. On the other hand, if my connection isn't so fast, streaming will halt and stutter while a downloaded copy will play flawlessly. So it always comes down to understanding your users. Do they tend to have fast connections? Do they watch again and again or do they just watch short clips?Software engineering isn't just about writing code. It's about understanding what your users really want to do and finding the best way to deliver that to them.Know your user.

Does anybody know what the hell causes this? We dont get it after every machine wash?

Looks like bleach spots. Are you using a powdered detergent with built in bleaching agents? If so, a clump of the powder sitting on damp clothes while the washer is filling will do this. Add it in first, start running your water, and don't start adding clothes until the powder is dissolved.
