Why Does The Mainstream Media Go Against Muslims So Much

Why Is the media against Islam?

Well the media is either ran by Jews and Christians. Both groups have bad blood with Islam. Also the fundamentalists willing to act in the religions teachings don't really help much.Christian media hates everything that isn't Christian. And they are such hippocrates and gossips they cant help themselvels. Christains love to pretend they are under attack by outside forces if its not gays, its scientists, if its not that its vaccines. This time its Islam. Jewish media people are mostly athiests and are jusy cultural jews. They dislike Arabs because their culture demands it, so a group if religious fundamentalists group of arabs starts blowing shit up and making snuff videos it's a great opportunity to make religion and Arabs look bad at the same time. Personally I believe islam is a bunch of crazy too. However, so are most of the other religions out there. The Abrahamic religions are especially twisted. They all claim that they are religions of peace and love but in reality they are the religion of sadists. It's wrong to single out one make them the bad guys. The Christians should have the same microscope pointed at them. Luckily Judaism Is hardly even a religion anymore. Once we shed these old superstitions and embrace the future we will have taken a huge step forward to a better tomorrow.

Are Muslims more to be blamed for Islamophobia than the western media?

Let's say you are a non-Muslim watching the news. Suddenly there's a special report about a terrorist attack at a gay nightclub. The terrorist is a Muslim and is reported to have aid that he is doing exactly what the Quran told him to do, that he is just being a true Muslim. Then you google what terrorism has got to do with Islam and then you find a few videos by David Wood, explaining some Quapran verses that moderate Muslims take to heart. You call up a few Muslim friends you know and they say,”Don't be silly and Islamophobic, those verses are justified in the name of self-defence. Didn't you see our tweets condemning the terrorist? We and out children will never turn out like that, we swear on Allah! Is there anything else you wanted to talk about?”You end the call unconvinced and honestly unsure who to believe anymore. You then spend a whole year's worth of time after work and weekends reading the Quran, only to find nothing that says the violent verses were just I self defence. Also, you kept track of the news and as time went on, you find that the eyewitness accounts were so incoherent that you feel unsettled with the notion that they may be lying. Back to your studies then. Over this period of time, you also find that the “protagonist” instigated a lot of the conflicts. So you check the neighbourhood imam and try to find out why his guy was called a prophet when all he did was start fights between peaceful parties. He swears his answer is the truth. You decide to get a second opinion from the imam down the street. He swears by a different answer. You tell him the first answer and the second imam says,”Are you telling me you’re a Sunniphobe as well? Of course that Shia ding dong is going tell you what you want to hear!”In conclusion, we can see by this example how complicit both sides are in propagating the fear of criticising a religion that can't even get its own story straight.

Why do many Americans seem to blame or hate Muslims in the US?

As a Muslim currently living in a conservative american county (more conservative than most Muslims are) it’s been really funny to see how they people here react after I tell them I am Muslim.I usually try to fish out what they really think about Muslims, usually about ISIS and the political chaos currently occurring in the Middle East. At the end, they will eventually make jokes about terrorists and how immigrants are coming into America and how nobody really knows what they are bringing into the country. Some of them quote Trump and xenophobic jokes about immigrants and them knowing I am a foreigner, I would ultimately make a joke about how I’m also a foreigner and how they wouldn’t know who I really was.“Hey, I’m a foreigner, who knows what I have under my jacket!”This will normally be immediately accompanied by crackles of laughter and slaps on the back.“Nope, we all know you’re a good guy. You wouldn’t blow things up like those Muslims!”Eventually, I tell them I am Muslim. This is followed by an awkward 20 seconds of silence. What I am showing to them is that we, Muslims, live a normal life. A Muslim can successfully integrate to american “normal” culture. We don’t blow up people’s homes and randomly shoot at people while shrieking in Arabic.Because we Muslims are the same as you guys. We eat the same stuff, study the same stuff at school, walk and talk the same way. Most of the billions of Muslims on earth lead a fairly normal life. The only thing that’s different is that we pray to a different god and in a different language. This is a complete shocker for many Americans. They are constantly told that America is a safe haven and because they live so comfortably in a first world country, they picture a third world country as lower than their standards of living. My standards of living back home are the same, or maybe even better than half of the people who attend my school here. That combined by the constant bombardment by the mainstream media (read: Fox News) about how the Middle East, where Islam is concentrated, is a warzone and “Islamic” terrorists being able to freely acquire firearms and shooting at people in bars (I’m looking at you, 2nd Amendment) totally explains to me why people in america are not very fond of Muslims.

Muslims V/S Sikhs V/S Hindus who do you think are the bravest ?

If i say Muslims you might complain i said so because i'm a Muslim, So i'm starting with not giving you a chance to allege by confessing that i'm a Muslim and that my answer is indeed Muslims.

Why ?

Hindus - I respect them a lot and i have many Hindu friends, about them i can say that they very hard working(especially studying for 10/12 hrs a day to get into IIT's and IIM's) and very smart and successful in business. But as far as bravery is concerned you can't call them brave on the whole as a community rather you might come across some selective individuals who are brave where their faith didn't play any role.

Sikhs - Their biggest dream ever was to make Khalistan Movement a success and according to their personal religious belief they were right, but no longer did the media labeled them as terrorists in 1984 and the military campaign "bluestar" was launched by then prime minister Mrs Indira Gandhi, they gave up within months and the spirit of Khalistan was lost in ashes. Today the only place where you will hear about Khalistan is on Youtube while majority of the Sikhs who are not from Punjab don't even know what the movement was about and also the name of one of their greatest martyrs i.e Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.

Muslims - Its been almost 7 decades and Israel with all the military might that it has is still fighting against the Palestinians. From 2002 till now inspite of death toll of 1 milion and counting USA's military is still engaged in battle for oil with iraqi locals who are carrying out attacks as suicide bombers. From the famous Iraqi journalist who threw a shoe at George.w.Bush to Zakir Naik who was the first person ever to call an American president a "terrorist" in American media you will hear about us every now and then. But the fact is that it depends upon how the mainstream media presents us and how an individual perceives it.

You might be friends with Sikhs, Muslims and the people from your own faith and certainly you might be having an opinion of your own. So do let me know what you think of my answer ?

A question for Muslims about Islamic terrorists?

What is being said about terrorism by mainstream Muslims?

What does the Qu'ran REALLY have to say on the subject, and how is this interpreted by the religious authority?

How do you believe the suicide bombers were treated by Allah when they died on Sept. 11th?
