Why Does The Usa Soccer Team Have So Many Mexicans

How come Mexicans play soccer?

Because They Use To Play A Sport That Is Like Soccer But The Loser Dies

Why are mexicans so good at soccer?

While your assumption sounds a bit racist, I think you meant well.

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and played on every continent except Antarctica (it's probably too hard to see the ball in the snow).

Soccer is particularly popular in Latin American countries (including Mexico). Kids grow up playing soccer in Mexico the same way that kids in the United States grow up playing baseball in football. It's a matter of both practice and culture.

Soccer is not as popular here in America, so American kids don't necessarily at the same skill level as their Latin American counterparts.

It has nothing to do with being Mexican, per se. It's all about practice.

Does any one know why do Mexicans like soccer so much?

The reason most of the world plays soccer is the fact that it is the cheapest sport on earth. Think about it. American football is then the most expensive or hockey in places without natural ice. Football-the fieldgoals you cant not have them and the pads and helmets. Soccer a ball that is it a ball.

Why does Mexico like soccer that much?

I like sports but see on tv or stadium I feel it's to boring for me. I do mountain bike, Swimming, jogging, hiking, and others. I like to be active and doing better every time. And feel well because I broke my own marks.I think most of the Mexicans are very lazy and they want to feel the achievement but as they are not able to do it by them self they feel as their own achievement the achievement of their favorite team.In the meantime they buy a lot of beers get in the couch and spend 2–3 hours there drinking and making carne asada (barbaque for USA). This behavior it's learned by their sons very easy and now we have a lot of Mexicans idiotized following most of the time mediocre teams.Maybe this is a way to escape from the very hard everyday living as most of the Mexicans are in poverty and a lot of Mexicans are middle class with lot of economical / familiar problems. They didn't want to scape from their country nfort zone and get up and do something active by themselves. It's my opinion maybe I'll get a lot of rant because soccer it's like a religion here.

Mexico is the best North American Soccer National team. In USA we can see more Mexican flags when they play !!

Hey JBuff, do you know why the USA didn't have a baseball representation in the Athens 2004 Olympics? because Mexico eliminated you!!!! Yes, your national sport with all your MLB stars, Mexico eliminated you in the regionals!!

And you know who kicked you out in your own baseball international series last year? With all your stars? In your own country? Mexico!

Does that burn? I bet it does. So let's not talk about national sports.

Why does Mexico play friendly soccer matches in the USA?

Yeah. They play in the US because there are thousands of Mexicans in every corner of the US. It's a profitable business for them because Mexicans in the US are willing to go see their team and spend money. Many Mexicans can't go to Mexico just to see a soccer game so it's a good idea for them to come play in the US. It's all about money.

Why do most Americans not care for football (soccer) as much as other people in other countries?

In his book, Live Right and Find Happiness (Although Beer Is Much Faster), Dave Barry includes an essay about soccer that I think answers the question very effectively. I won't commit an act of plagiarism by quoting him at length here--instead I'll encourage the reader to go buy a copy of the book. In fact, buy two, and give one to a friend!  (Okay, Dave, remember, you promised me a percentage of the sales bump.)The gist of his argument was that many Americans don't understand soccer because they fail to appreciate the skill involved in setting up a play. And they underestimate the sheer skill displayed by a keeper who accurately predicts where a ball is going to be, and manages to get a couple fingertips on it and deflect its path to just above the crossbar of the goal.Another speedbump on the way to full appreciation of soccer is the fact that it's a nonstop game. They don't stop for a little cuddle after each play, nor for reconfiguration of the field after every 10 yards gained. The spectators don't mind that the action continues apace, but without any natural breaks in the game, there's no place to cut to the network for a commercial. The play might seem to be soporific, and your producer gives the green light to go to a 2-minute montage of beer commercials, truck commercials, station identification, severe weather alerts, and a local news teaser about a foiled assassination attempt, and when they come back, home viewers have missed two of the biggest plays of the game. (They could settle for selling ad-space along the bottom edge of the screen, but that's not an ad model that the big sponsors are ready to embrace just yet.)TL;DR, Americans as a whole do not hate soccer. Many of us actually like it, but we haven't figured out how to consume it effectively when we can't make it to the stadium. And those of us who don't care for it, have many and varied reasons, some of which are entirely reasonable, and not dismissable as simple hate.

What do you call soccer in mexico?

The whole world calls soccer, futbol, except the United States. Futbol is a game you play with a round ball and you kick with your feet.

Why don't Mexicans like American football?

I would rewrite your questions as:Why the average Mexican does not like American Football?Actually a lot of Mexicans love American Football! We have two college leagues (ONEFA and CONADEIP) we have our own derby matches in this sport (UNAM vs IPN and Borregos ITESM vs Autenticos Tigres) and right now a Professional League is being taking place in our country.Even more, we are going to have a NFL regular season game this year. 2 consecutive years having the Raiders playing a Home game in Azteca Stadium. However, not all Mexicans love American Football.First we have the people telling that American Football is not football because there are very few kicking actions.Second, is hard to follow a not so popular team in the league, I mean, if you are a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the New England Patriots or the Pittsburgh Steelers is easy to see them playing on the open TV channels or in the Cable TV channels, but if you are expecting to see the Buffalo Bills, the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Cleveland Browns in a normal Sunday game you will find it difficult.Third, only two cities dominate the american football market in Mexico and they are still finding hard to keep it. Those cities are Mexico City and Monterrey, they have the most popular college teams in Mexico and they even have the Mexican League teams, but the response of the public to the Mexican League was poor, even with Chad Ochocinco playing for the Monterrey Fundidores, they attendance was really poor.I live in Guadalajara, while a big city, is a poor market for American Football, there are very few stores to buy NFL merchandise, the people prefer to see a Liga MX game instead of the Sunday Night Football games and they only stand to see a football game in the Super Bowl ready to criticize the rules of the game and the american culture (like if watching the Super Bowl was a rule to follow…)
