Why Does These Youtube Comments Get So Many Likes

Clicking like or dislike is just a counter. It shows how many of each. Someone has to write a comment for you to get one.

Did you say something useful and constructive? If you did, then keep on doing it. Maybe you need to put your comments on videos that see more engagement than the ones you’re targeting. Also see that there are likes on the other comments in the videos.

You have to view a video to click "like" or leave a comment. For that reason, you'd expect that you'd always have fewer likes and comments than views. As it turns out, though, once you get over 300 views, Youtube switches algorithms for reporting views. The >300 view algorithm works in batches instead of almost-real-time. Once you've got over 300 views, YouTube starts to scrutinize the views and attempts to identify if they are real views or bots (in an effort to stem fraud - some people monetize their videos after all). The practical upshot being that "likes" and "comments" appear in almost-real-time, whereas "views" start to update in batches every 6 hours or so.If a particular YouTube clip becomes popular very quickly, it's possible for the number of likes or comments to outpace the number of views because of the difference in the way the counts are updated.

Why do some people get so many comments and likes on their profile pictures on facebook?

Mostly the really hot girls will have from 25-60 likes on there average profile pictures. But why?
1) Other girls wanna hang out with them because they want to be popular and get notice bye boys, which makes all the girls comment on there pictures and like them
2) The boys will just like any hot pic of a girl, and comment something about it being hot & sexy or something like that.
3) Mostly around 3 idiots will get into a conversation on the photo, luckily Facebook changed the notifications way, and 50 comments would only be 1 now, instead of 50.
4) Also because they have lots of facebook friends, this will only work for girls, because random girls won't like random boys profile pics, but boys will like random girls profile pics.

Boys don't get as much likes because girls are more preppy and kind. Also boys like checking hot pics out, and liking them.
But I see you're a girl, so if you want lot's of likes, show off something in your pic. Take a picture from above you, and show some of your cleavage. Or have your shirt pulled up a bit, show some of your body more. Those are just ways to get likes, yes it may seem a bit slutty, but most of the popular girls are slutty.

YouTube uses a variety of techniques to reduce the spam in comments, some of which they disclose publicly:We’ve worked hard to combat the increase in spammy comments and have made a number of updates, including:Better recognition of bad links and impersonation attemptsImproved ASCII art detectionChanging how long comments are displayedsource: http://youtubecreator.blogspot.c...YouTube also empowers content creators and viewers to eradicate content that violates the ToS when they come across it by providing robust reporting and moderation tools.  Related:https://support.google.com/youtu...https://support.google.com/youtu...

I don’t know if the system has changed recently on YouTube. However I do get notifications and names of the people who like any of my comments on YouTube videos.I have a comment I made years ago, for example, that still gets an occasional ‘like’. When that happens, Google notifies me that person has liked my comment.I am not sure if this is because I linked my Google Plus account to YouTube years ago, or if this is just how it is with everyone generally.Overall I’d say yes, most probably the person who wrote the comment can see that you liked it.

Just because they do not want someone to know more about their videos.Just as you cannot see who viewed your Facebook profile page, you CANNOT see who disliked your YouTube video, for privacy users protection reasons, obviously. There is another possibility: YouTube Comment Bot activity on your channel. If you search on Google about these bots, you will find that some people actively look for them on various forums etc. They wish to artificially boost popularity of their own, or maliciously humiliate and disgrace others videos.Do these bots really exist? Well, they certainly do, but given the huge efforts from people at Google, they have a very short life period and limited effectiveness. Publicly available voting bot tools are quickly ab(used) and spent, because of very easy way to detect patterns and abnormal voting activities in a relatively short bursts of time. However, some other, private tools designed for specific tasks (“customers”) could be used periodically to inflate or deflate content popularity. You might be a victim of such ill activity. If you notice unusual amount of votes in your video over a day, week or month, please report this activity to YouTube support staff immediately.http://sharefreetuts.com/

Why does youtube have so many ads about 'Grammarly'?

the more a company pays for their ad to be played the more often it is played in videos so my answer is that grammarly just pays youtube a lot of money to advertise them.

For comments, it's a mixed bag. Some users might be annoyed with the ever-evolving comments section, and simply don't want to see it. Others might because of the recent surge of spam bots posting phishing links in their comments pretending to be the original uploader. Some, like myself, just don't enjoy seeing the statistically overwhelming number of unwarnent flame wars that spawn at the slightest provocations. As for ratings, that's usually due to either the video being an ad on YouTube, or it being a very controversial video, and nobody likes seeing half the views leaving dislikes. It's bad for the channel image, and possible the company or organization supporting it. The final reason might be the simplest of all, conformation bias. Think about it, wouldn't you like to see your opinion amplified by others to make you feel like your subjective feelings are right due to the majority agreeing? Well, rating and comments tend to cut that down, leading to the inevitable reality that there are hundreds of thousands of opinions and standpoints to take.
