Why Does Yahoo Continually And Arbitrarily Change Mail So Users Cannot Make It Work

Do you feel there is a separation between Transsexuals and Non-Transsexual Transgender persons?

I believe that the term transgender should be retired and the umbrella closed. I also believe that a crossdresser should be called a crossdresser, a drag queen or king should be called a drag queen or king, a genderfuck a genderfuck, intersexed should be addressed as intersexed, And last but not least a Transsexual should be called just that a Transsexual.

Please do not get me wrong I have no hard feelings towards any of these people. I am a woman who was born a transsexual who does not like being grouped with people who have nothing in common with me or with who and what i am. I also know that a lot of other people who are not transsexual and fall under the so called transgender umbrella, also do not like to be grouped with the others encluding transsexuals.

How does Outlook email compare to Gmail?

I’ve been forced to use Outlook because it’s the provider my school arbitrarily chose to use for our school emails.I really hate anything Microsoft. My opinion is simple and informed — it just seems like literally every single one of their products has a significantly better Google / Apple equivalent. This is 100% applicable to Outlook email.I’d like to start out by saying that I think that Gmail is a beautifully designed and incredibly functional program, easily the best email platform out there. Here are the main ways that Gmail beats Outlook 10x over.Functionality + glitches — Outlook constantly glitches and just doesn’t work as well as Gmail in countless ways. A random glitch that won’t go away for me on Outlook and is infuriating is that sometimes when I’m composing an email the space bar doesn’t work. This would not conceivably ever happen in Gmail, and if it did, it would be fixed really soon.Design — Gmail looks so much better than Outlook. Outlook isn’t designed to look remotely appealing and is very over complicated and old fashioned. I also don’t they basically ever update their design.Speed — Outlook is super slow; Gmail’s fast. I get an email a comfortable 10 seconds faster in Gmail than Outlook. Outlook also takes much longer to load.Thoughtfulness + “bumps” + polished-ness — Outlook seems like a lazy, hasty bare bones email product with a bunch of useless complications. In Gmail I don’t get annoyed by little details, but they drive me nuts in Outlook. There are so many decisions in Outlook that just don’t make any sense.Customer service — Gmail has amazing and highly effective CS, whereas Outlook’s CS takes forever to respond and doesn’t solve problems well. There is not a single area that Outlook exceeds Gmail in, and I think that Gmail’s clearly a far superior product.

I have no friends, family or anybody who cares. I hate myself. Why shouldn't I die?

edit: Ignore Monika. She has no idea what she’s talking about. You’ve probably come across plenty of people like her who have no idea how to give advice to depressed people and end up just making them feel worse.I’ve attempted once. Thought about trying a few times after that. I’ve met some wonderful people who have thought about it, and I’m glad they’re alive.I can’t promise you that you anything. Nobody here can. If you don’t mind, I would like to have a short discussion with you here. Maybe we can chip away at this a little?Something I like about myself: I like giving compliments to people and seeing that I’ve positively impacted their day. I’ve learned that not being afraid to say something as simple as ‘you look wonderful today’ or ‘neat shirt’ to strangers is something I truly like about myself. I’m deeply cynical, but I like to help.Would you mind doing two things: tell me a story (any kind, any length), and if you can, tell me one thing you like about yourself. Take as much time as you need. I don’t mind this turning into a long discussion, if that works for you as well.

Yahoo has just locked me out of my own account, insisting that I change my password (just because they say that I must). Should this be a legal action by web sites? Is this similar to having government officials locking people out of their homes?

Do you own Yahoo.com? No? Then it's not "your" account. It's Yahoo's account, which they are granting you access to. Hyperbole about "extorting" at "gunpoint" and "forcing people from their homes" isn't going to help your case when making comparisons to changing your password on a free internet service. If you don't update your password regularly, it is at greater risk of being compromised. This is basic Internet 101. If your account is compromised, it puts other Yahoo users at risk, and forces them to spend time and energy dealing with your own incompetence in securing your account. This is why Yahoo, and most every other website Terms of Service, requires you to take responsibility for your own account security, and expressly tells you that your access may be suspended for this (and often, for any) reason.  Literally every time you use Yahoo, you agree to these terms. What would be a better analogy is why you think you have a legal right not to be forcibly ejected from some random stranger's private house after you refuse to follow their publicly posted house rules. I mean, if we're going with a house analogy.

PUSHY dentist...should I go elsewhere?

Ok I went to the dentist today. It was my second visit. First one was a cleaning. The first time I met him I got an uneasy feeling. Then today I found out why. Today was a consult for some dental work I need done. I'm without insurance and I had to apply for a dental finance loan. Which I got a small amount for 1500.00 right now because thats what I can afford.

So I told him I my first concern is my cavities. But he tried pushing gum treatments for 1000.00 on me for a good 30 minutes for 1000.00. I told him I can't afford it and he pretty much wouldn't listen. Then he tells me I need a crown for a back tooth, which Im not too sure I do and if it was dying I would just get it pulled. I cant afford a crown. Then he tells me I should have two existing crowns replaced at some point. Even though they look and feel fine..

So today I called another dentist and made an appt. I called the dentist I went to today and asked for my xrays, the receptionist made me feel bad and asked me why I wanted them. I told her I wanted a second opinion. The guy just wasn't too receptive to my issues financially
