My mom grounded me for having sex?
So now shes super pissed and she cussed me out. She didnt know that i was sexually active (im 15 and me & my boyfriend have been together for 4months. She's mad that ive been doing it in the house. She's trying to shelter me in the house for 6months. That is way too long and it's not fair. I hate her so much and why would she just walk in my room like that without knocking? I have the door close for a reason. She's always trying to tell me what to do. She doesn't know about the other 2 times I had sex so, she thinks this was my first time. (Actually this was only my second time). The first time wasn't sex because, it was oral. I didn't want her to know at all because, she calls me unnecessary names. I was humilitated when she saw me naked. Do you think she went to far with this punishment? I don't agree with it at all.
Can my mom still ground me?
im 17, and i hate being grounded sometimes i hate the feeling of being scared when i do something badd. i fail to do stuff with my friends becasue im scared to get in **** from my mom, and when i drink, i never take any pictures because im scared that when my mom sees them she;ll ground me, and im always paranoid, not from the cops but from my mom, i rather get in **** from the cops and get a warning for drinking underage then get grounded from my mom, so e'yahh just wondering....lol

Well,This morning they were going to a water park in Six Flags and I didn't want to go because I was feeling sex with my acid reflux stomache and soar throat and tells me if" You don't go,your going to be grounded for the rest of the summer and can't go out with any of your friends." Uhm..How is that a reason for me to get grounded? She knows I hate theme parks and that I don't feel good and just last week I was throwing up sick....If you ask me this is a STUPID reason to be grounded for the rest of the summer

Um, I take it you were supposed to get all A’s? Are you aware of any adult your Mom respects? Any of your teachers? Other adults at your school?You don’t mention your father. Are your parents divorced, never married?Do you have any siblings? Does your mother regularly attend a religious facility? Do you have any aunts or uncles?Do you know any of your mother’s friends?Do you have any teacher at your school that you could talk to about this?Is there a school counselor?Is your mom friendly with any of the neighbors?If you can contact and talk with some or any of these people, they might put in a good word for you.Did you and your mom have a deal: you get all A’s or you’re grounded? If so, you’re gonna hafta invite your friends to your house. Ok so me and my friend were psyched for halloween!!! But then yesterday, the day before halloween, she called me and said my mom is making me go to california for a funeral tonight. Ever since my friend told me that I admit I have been a little cranky and mad. So my dad had bought me fairy wings and a tutu 4 my costume and the tutu was really super fluffy and I didn't like it because im shy and I don't like 2 b the life of the party and trust me in that thing every1 would have been looking at me at the party we were goin 2. So I decided I would wear a black skirt that I already had and my mom got pissed off when I told her I wasn't gonna wear the tutu and she flipped out and said I had 2 wear the tutu otherwise I couldn't go 2 the party and I was grounded. So after 20 mins of her screaming at me and me crying with mascara running down my face she left 2 go 2 the party without me. I was pissed but I tried 2 b good and just calm down and clean my room so I did and when she got home I was in the shower and I got out and I saw her getting ready and I said where r u goin and she said 2 another party and I asked well when r u gonna talk 2 me about wat heppened and she goes tomorrow and I said well can I watch tv until I fall asleep and she goes no u can think about y u r in trouble and I said I've been thinking about it for 4 hours while u left me here and then she goes I can't deal with u just go 2 bed. So then I started crying because she was being a total biotch and I just wanted her 2 talk 2 me!!! So when I finally get 2 talk 2 her how can I explain my point and get out of being grounded?? She ruined my halloween and really hurt me by calling me a B**ch so how can I get her 2 realize??? Btw im 13 years old
My mom grounded me for defending myself?
I'm 17 years old and live with my mom. A few days ago after school this kid in 12th grade kept slapping me upside the head so all I did was just shove him to get him away from me and my mom saw me from the car. The thing is she even saw him slapping me and she still grounded me because "2 wrongs don't make a right". My mom is real religious and I know she just wants the best for me but it bothers me that I can't even defend myself, plus the fact that she saw this kid slapping me and she just sat in the car and watched. This one incident happened when I was 12 where this kid stole my scooter off our porch. The thing is I watched him do it through the window and I knew who he was but my mom wouldn't let me go outside to stop him. Also she wouldn't call the kids parents or the police because she didn't wanna start trouble so the kid ended up keeping it. I'm just sick of being a wimp.

It feels great to be right. But it won’t help you.So you were grounded for being sarcastic. Either you were really, really rude, your mom really really overreacted… or you’ve been giving her a lot of problems in general and she finally lost her patience.If your mom overreacted, she probably knows it. Wait to talk to her when she’s calm, and stay calm and polite yourself, and you might get your sentence reduced.Otherwise… I’d recommend working on your own behavior first.Because it doesn’t matter whether anyone but your mom (and possibly your dad, if he’s present in the home) thinks grounding you for being sarcastic is fair. It’s within your mom’s right to do. The only thing that’s going to fix it is to curb your behavior enough to make her happy.Chin up. You’ll be an adult and move out soon enough.
My mom grounded me for getting a B on my report card. Is getting a B bad or good?
I always thought a B was good but when I told my mom I got all A's and one B, she FLIPPED!! Like seriously?? She took my phone and computer (I'm using my old cell phone to write this). and grounded me. She told me that I'm a failure and will never succeed in life. All because I got one B. I'm pretty much a slave to her. I do all the housework and my mother does nothing. It's very depressing. I told CPS and they talked to my mother but she's very good at manipulating people so they didn't suspect any abuse. I'm going to be 17 next month and I never get anything for my birthdays but she expects me to get her things and if it's not what she likes, she yells at me and throws the gift in the garbage. She never apologizes for anything and everything is my fault according to her. What should I do? Is a B really that bad? Should I run away? My dad died when I'm 3 and my other family members don't want anything to do with me because of the things my mother has told them that wasn't true so I'll pretty much be alone on the streets.
