Why Hasnt Islam Channel Been Banned

Why doesn't the Islamic Republic of Iran punish those who harm animals?

I can't answer for Iran specifically, but I do know that enforced animal rights are still a new concept in many countries.A while back, I had an online friend from a Latin American country (I believe it was Brazil, but it's been a few years). We got on the topic of kitties, and she told me about a horrific animal abuse case that her neighbor had been a part of. It was sickening, and wrong, and everyone in the neighborhood knew about it. However, her country had no legal protection for animals. Anyone who would try to do something would be prosecuted for any number of offences, but the abuser wouldn't have a single charge. Her country began introducing new (but weak) protective laws. The cats were later confiscated from said neighbor due to complaints, but there was nothing in place to stop him from doing it again with others. The worst punishment he could get was a fine. The country was moving in the right direction, slowly, but that's not a milestone that all countries have reached.Animal rights aren't most governments’ primary concern, and are a relatively new focus in the grand scheme of it all. Places that have high crime, low income, etc. simply can't afford (or haven't been seriously pushed to consider) extra enforcement to protect animals. I imagine Iran has a similar situation. If this is a topic that you care deeply about, consider contacting the Iranian authorities that have the power to make an enforceable policy to protect animals. Alternatively, find animal activist groups that already exist in Iran, and either support them financially or through manpower (outreach, virtual volunteering, etc.). Hopefully, we’ll see Iran, as well as the countless similar nations, embrace a compassionate animal protection policy in the future.

What must be banned in India?

Well, there are so many things Indian Govt. should be banned:I'm fed up with Television serials especially shows of Ekta Kapoor, OMG what she want to show the audience with her shitty serials dramas. She is spreading superstitions in society. Recently, Many shows have started on Star Plus and Star Bharat, like Divya-Drishti, Najar which is spreading superstitions, creating a negative environment in the society and shows like Savdhaan India, Crime Patrol, Crime Hour, these shows are not alerting people instead of they are spreading fear in the society. Some scenes are so disgusting, and dialogues are a double meaning, one cannot watch these shows with family. They are teaching how to be a bad man, how to disrespect a woman(sexual harassment), how to murder. how to abuse a child(sexual abuse), how to establish an extramarital affair with your colleagues, with your friends, and many more bad things. Please Directors, Producers, Scriptwriter stop making these 3rd class shows. Why don't you understand that people learn more by watching anything? India becomes the most unsafe country for women and your shows, movies, WS playing an important part in it.2. Netflix: It should be definitely banned in India. Don't know why they are telecast such web series which is the sign of sick minded society. -_- Please somebody banned these creepy shows. Ekta Kapoor, please Close your Channel ALTBalaji -_-. Don't know what's wrong with you, if you don't have any good script then copy it from Hollywood Web Series like HOC, Sherlock Holmes, Stranger things and there are many more good series which can be copied from Hollywood. The list is so long to be banned in India like Spitting in public, pee on the roadside (everybody knows who do this -_-), Drinking alcohol, smoking, Child labor -_-, political issues, there are many more which are also mentioned in other member’s answer. But I know Nothing is gonna banned. So become Gandhi ji's three monkeys. Stay calm. -_-

Why is Al Jazeera banned in India, despite India being a non-Arab nation?

Maybe it's time to change your service provider. Al-Jazeera is on the television and on the internet, so maybe rather than asking why Al-Jazeera is banned you should've asked if it is banned. Now that we've cleared air over the misconceived 'ban’ I would like to add that there are a lot of non Arab countries that would love to ban Al-Jazeera, for the simple reason that it has been rumoured to be a ‘state run propaganda arm’, regardless of that I'm sure Al-Jazeera is anti-Semitic and evidently has an anti India bias, yet India hasn't banned Al-Jazeera, not because it is a non Arab nation but because it is a democracy.

Is Caffeine forbidden in Islam?

Goodness, no!Ever hear of Turkish or Arab coffee?  The Arab and Muslim world would come to a stop if coffee were outlawed.Even caffeine in soda is allowed.UPDATE:  I almost forgot about this.  My husband did the Arabic calligraphy and graphic design for Hill's Bros Coffee.  At the time, importing American coffee was a status symbol for wealthy Arabs.  They'd never drink the horrid stuff, but they bought it to show.Hills Bros. image was a Turk in Native dress drinking coffee.  They changed it to a cowboy, I think, for the Arab market.

Why do gun advocates use fallacies to present their argument?

In other words, you can't go up against one philisophically without one of them using fear tactics like "Well, then you can expect to have your house invaded!" or straw man arguments like "You support gun control? So you DON'T believe people have right?" or illogical absolutes like "It's our right to own them..." Is it trigger hapiness?

If you can supply a good, fallacy free argument in support of the Second Amendment, I'll retract my statement.
