Why havent i lost weight?

There could be a few reasons:

1) - If you are exercising that often and consistently, you may have lost fat but gained some muscle, and the scale won't indicate this... Ask yourself: Do you feel slimmer, more toned? Does your body seem more toned, are your clothes looser?

2) - You didn't mention your height, so I can't say whether you're within a healthy weight range (if you are, then your body may be putting up resistance to weight loss)

3) - There's always a chance you might be consuming more calories than you think you are, especially if you have a tendency to snack and graze like I sometimes do.

I would sit down and reassess this past month and see if you can find anything that might have been hindering weight loss

I've been on a diet for 2 weeks and I haven't lost weight. What am I doing wrong?

The process to lose weight takes time so do not be discouraged. I can think of few things which you can consider for your weight Loss JourneyI am not sure what kind of diet you are following hence will try to keep these points as generic as possible.a. Trial-Error & Rectification Process - Each body type is different and so is the metabolism rate. Even if it is proven that Diet A helps to lose weight in a week or two it may not be the case with your body type. I am not saying you wont lose weight but it can definitely happen that you may take some time. So try to be patient, it will take time for you to understand your body type and until then its a trial-error-rectification process.b. Watch your liquid Calories - Try to make a mental note of liquids that you consume along with frequency of consumption. Example - Juices, Smoothies, coffee with cream/milk/sugar/syrups etc, Hot chocolatec. Eat Crabs that are high on Fiber - Always look for Net carb and not total carbs. Total carbs include fibers where as net carbs has fiber amount subtracted. If you are not on Keto, try to eat carbs rich with fiber like- Quiona, Brown Rice, beans, lentilsd. Watch out Intake of Oil, Butter, Cheese - Sometimes unknowingly we consume quite a lot of oil, butter and in general diary items than what should be consumed. Now if you are on Keto, its all together a different ball game.e. Watch out on Salad dressings - If you are consuming salads as your meals do make sure you prepare your own salad dressings. All the dressings that you get in market have quite high amount of sugar. Also when you order salads in restaurants make sure you ask for dressing on the side.

I haven't eaten in days and haven't lost any weight?

She's not stupid, more unaware.. To lose weight you need to eat regularly and healthily and don't over do the exercise ... Of you exercise and not eat you'll make yourself tired and Ill because you have no energy, if you don't eat your nails skin and hair and everything else will just go bad! Trust me! You want to lose weight do it the healthy way, have all bran for breakfast salad and chicken for dinner, tuna and whole grain pasta for tea and only snack on nuts and beans.. And maybe run for an hour or 2 throughout the day, and go the gym too.. it will work this way better!! And you will see better HEALTHIER results!

Day 3 of the cabbage soup diet- why haven't i lost any weight?

I'm overweight anyway, 5 foot 6 and 195 pounds. I was doing this to kick start my weight loss. Please don't lecture me about it being a 'fad'.

So i'm on day 3 and I've lost no weight what so ever? Is this normal? I thought i might not see results until around day 5 but now i'm not so sure. The only thing I could think of that i ma be doing wrong is that i am putting semi skimmed milk in my tea. HOWEVER on the plan it doesn't say anything about not being able to put milk in your tea. Is just says 'water, un-sweetend tea and cranberry juice'.

Help?

Why has it been 2 weeks and I haven't lost any weight even though I'm eating less and healthier?

You need to burn more calories than you’re bringing in - which means you need to do some exercise. Going for a walk around the block, or dancing to music, or doing various exercise video games (Wii Fit or the Just Dance series are good ones) will work fine - you don’t need a bunch of exercise equipment if you can’t afford it / can’t fit it into your place. You also need to keep your body from adjusting to the reduced amount of calories, which is what cheat days are designed to do. Build in one a week, it’ll also help you keep your resolve to stick to a healthier lifestyle. Also, some of the weight you’re carrying may be water weight, which fluctuates a lot more. The most important thing for weight loss is to not stress too much about it - at two weeks in, you’d see at *most* a loss of about 2 pounds. This is a slow process if you’re going to do it in a way that’ll keep the weight off.

I stopped drinking soda, but I haven't lost any weight. Why is my stomach flatter?

You're not filling it up with liquid 3-5 times a day. The balloon of your stomach never had a chance to deflate before.

As for seeing weight loss, you need more time for your body to use it's fat stores. Fat is like an old waitress at a dinner constantly refilling your coffee cup. We use up some, and put more in. When we eat too much or drink soda all day we are overflowing our cup. We can't drink the coffee as fast as she can pour it - we can't use the energy stores (fat) as quickly as we can put it on.

By reducing your intake you are giving the body a chance to start taking more and more out of the fat stores. If you make no other changes except for losing soda, you'll come down maybe grams or oz every day. But water, food, clothes, the humidity on the scale, all play a part in fluctuating your weight. If you go down 3 pounds in the next week and then up one again, don't freak out.

Why haven't I lost any weight even though I look leaner?

Losing weight and losing size are two different things. If you still want to loose weight, even after becoming leaner then you should start cardio, for better and faster results you have to take less calorie diet. What i guess after listening to your problem is that you are losing fat and simultaneously growing muscles. You are (to the extent i know) doing weight training, i.e. with maximum weight 5–12 reps in gym. Through this exercise what will happen … you will earn muscle and muscle will dissolve the stored fat in your body as muscles are alive, they breathe, they grow, they die and also they eat. Through these exercise you will have two benefits: you will left with high testesterone level; moreover remain energetic and full of energy. But besides these benefits, there are two problems also. As you still have fat (which is dissolved or is feeding your muscle) you can suffer with high stress as high sugar or glucose in blood stream increase cortesol level (a type of stress harmone); you may suffer from knee pain (in case of excessive high weight). So, from now onwards if your goal is to reduce size or fat lose then stop using measuring tape and mirror to analyse your growth rather, start using weight machine to record your growth. Stop the training which is to teach your self, how to lift more weight; rather start the training which teaches your muscle how to lift weight more repeatedly.
