Why I Am Not Confidence In My Work

I have a new boss- German. How can I win his confidence and work together?

Please help, I am secretary and have a new boss - German. Previously I had an english and french boss who were really bad and harassed and ignored me. They even encouraged other colleagues to do that. Now I have a new boss, a new hope! The new boss knows me as I was a hard worker before and knew about my problems with the previous management and now I want to prove myself and show I am a good worker. How can I make myself his person of trust and keep my job. I am a hard worker, loyal and dedicated. How do I impress him? It is somewhat hard to know which course to take because I have a lot to catch up and my colleagues are not very helpful because all want my position (which I got in my own right). Please help, I have a new hope and I recover from 2year daily harassment. How do I manage the change? Thanks a lot!

Why do I have no confidence with approaching women?

I have you in my Contact on Yahoo! Ans. so i know every time you ask a question because you relate very well to me especially when it comes w/ women.

I believe your lack of confidence comes from the fact that you are unsure of who should move the relationship forward. 99.9% of the time is YOU as man that has to do it. Based on my experience, women will NEVER advance/pursue a man even if they like him. If you don't pursue, NOTHING will ever happen. Why don't women pursue?? Well, Its a combination of nature and society (that's a different subject.) But anyway..You'll just be another guy she sees at the gym if you don't move things forward.

So next time you see her just think "I have to do it anyway so what do i have to loose." Just keep thinking that you are the MAN and If you ever want to have sex (which i'm assuming you do) with this girl, is you that has to LEAD ALL THE WAY. Conversation will come natural from then. At the end just be like.."what are you doing this weekend anyway. Im thinking about going out to (name a popular bar) this Saturday. You should come. Do you have a phone # I can reach you" Just do it man..You have to do it anyway AS A MAN or NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. Trust me. Even if she says no, just think..."nothing will happen anyway if i didn't ask." You'll get better with experience...i know it worked for me :)) Just knowing that as a man, its me that has to move things forward with women in order to get anywhere tremendously boosted my confidence..:)) GL

Why is it that I am not confident?

You can be happy, too. Stop looking around and thinking other people are so confident. The girls that put everything out there have self esteem issues, which is why they have to flaunt it all the time - to make themselves feel better. The extra attention they get makes it so they have a confidence boost. You should shove those negative feelings aside and just act confident. Everyone has problems they blame on themselves, but you just have to look on the bright side of things. Try to concetrate on the things you like about yourself. Just like "xhello" said, if you act confident you will become confident. This will pass! :)

A work colleague tells you in confidence that she suspects another colleague of stealing. What would you do?

Ask her what makes her suspect that. Because she says she "suspects", it sounds like she does not have proof.
Tell her if she has concrete proof that she should tell a supervisor, not you. People that steal cost everyone money.
If she does not have proof, she needs to drop it. It's just gossip then, and you don't need to gossip about your co-workers.

My boyfriend says I'm not confident?

I'm in a relationship, we've been dating for about four months now, known each other for five.

I will fully admit that I'm the paranoid girlfriend...I don't think he's cheating on me or anything like that, but if we go a day without seeing each other, I think it's because of something I've done or that he doesn't want to see me. I fully understand that that isn't normal and I'm trying to work on it.

Whenever we discuss it, he says that I'm not as confident as when we first met and he wishes I could be more sure of myself...Any ideas on how I can do that before my lack of confidence ruins my relationship?
