Why I Can Acces Mierana

Which is the best dental insurance if I am planing to do a dental bracing?

You will have a tough time buying a plan that covers Orthodontics on your own, because it would be a benefit that would see a lot of anti-selection (people buying the coverage knowing they were going to get this procedure done - and the timing and need for orthodontia leads to a lot of anti-selection).Your best bet might be to look into that plan offered by Harvard that does not cover the orthodontia and look into whether the plan’s “PPO network” extends the network discounts to non-covered services. If you had a plan that covered Orthodontics, it would likely be 50% coverage, up to $1000–1500 lifetime maximum. So if you went to any dentist, and they charged $5000 for a full orthodontic treatment plan, you would still be responsible for $4000 of the charges. ($1000 maximum plan). If the plan offers a network discount, the discount could be around 30% off, so now instead of $5000, the service costs $3500. And if you had coverage, would pay $1000 of the $3500, leaving you with a balance of $2500.My point is that if you can access the network discounts for the Orthodontia coverage, you may be better off than someone who has a $1000 benefit plan and goes out-of-network.The dental provider lobby has been successful in getting states to enact legislation that prohibits insurers from offering the network discount on non-covered services. (So they can collect full price). I’m not sure what Massachusetts laws are on this - thats why you should check with BCBS on their optional dental plan to see if PPO discounts are provided on non-covered services like orthodontia.Which leads me to another idea, is look for a “discount-only” plan that you can join to access network discounts (these plans are not subject to the aforementioned rules). Also, make sure the network they offer includes an orthodontist you’d be happy with going to.

How soon after IUD removal can you test for pregnancy?

I got my IUD out last Thursday (so just over a week ago.) We were planning on practicing withdrawal until January and then going for it (if it happens before then that is still ok.) just to get my body back to normal. So since I was on the IUD, I hadn't had my period in years so I don't know where I was on my cycle. We ended up having unprotected sex on Friday (yey!) and I figure I'm not pregnant, but probably should drink or take aleve just in case. So how long do I have to wait to take a pregnancy test if I won't be able to tell by my period? Theoretically I could have gotten pregnant when we were doing withdrawal, but more likely would be three days ago.

That said, has anyone gotten pregnant the week after IUD removal?

Is mirena covered under the PA access card?

i'm looking into getting and IUD and I would prefer mirena i'm just curious to see if its covered under my insurance... or if there are any other bc methods others would recommend... i have tried the pill (which i forgot to take a few times and could never remember to do it at the same time...) and i've tried nuvaring which i didn't like I could feel it and it fell out a few times. i'm also thinking about the patch.

When you squeeze a woman’s breast and a white liquid comes out, what does that mean?

It’s milk. But you already knew that since “Human Breast Milk” is one of the question topics.I assume you’re asking about why milk would come out of a woman who isn’t pregnant or nursing?Short answer, hormones. There isn’t some magical rule that prevents lactation outside of new mothers, it’s all hormonal. Babies might lactate, teens might do it, MTF transexuals could experience it as a side effect of their hormone therapy, phantom pregnancy is a thing, even normal men can lactate if they don’t have access to formula or trusted women to feed a baby.So if you are intimate with a normal woman who has never been pregnant and who, through no influence of drugs, produces milk when her breasts are stimulated, well that means jackpot, young man. Jackpot.

Can you get pregnant if your husband has had a vasectomy AND you have the paragard IUD?? I am 7 days late.?

i should say...i have had the IUD for 2 years and my hubby had the vasectomy a year ago. i have never been late on my period since the IUD!!! that might be why i'm freaking out a bit. ha!!

Which type of contraceptive method is suitable for a 25 year old female who hasn't been pregnant ever and does not intend to for next 3-5 years?

I've been where you are at right now, and I can say that the best decision I've done is get the Skyla IUD.Skyla is a hormonal IUD, smaller than Mirena, and it's intended for women who have not been pregnant before. Because it's smaller, it contains less concentration of the hormone levonorgestrel, a progestin. It doesn't contain estrogens. This also means that it lasts only 3 years, while the Mirena lasts for 5 years. Now, as for experience, it's been one year since I had it installed, and it has been great. I have not had a pregancy scare. My periods have been much lighter and getting closer to each other, but still irregular (I was irregular since before, though). The first few months were an adjustment period. The first month was spent spotting lightly, but it stopped afterwards. The first period I had after insertion was incredibly crampy, but then my periods had been getting crampier each month beforehand. Cramps were strong for the first three periods, but then returned to normal for the rest.Besides all the previously mentioned, I definitely recommend this device. There's no need to remember to take it regularly, nor do you have to remember to put it on during the heat of the moment. Its convenient and highly effective (99.8%).I hope this helps!

Is it harder to get an abortion if you are traveling?

Absolutely. For cultural and legal reasons access to abortion varies between countries and even in some western European countries abortion still remains illegal. Furthermore, access to healthcare in many places for non-residents is often limited to emergency care and abortion only very rarely is emergency service. There are exceptions like tubal pregnancy or septic miscarriages but these are not your standard abortions. As a non-resident you may have access to private hospitals but many do not cover abortion services and those who do may be prohibitively expensive. If pregnancy is something you definitely want to avoid while going away for extended periods of time, the easiest thing to do is to get LARC (long acting reversible contraceptive) before leaving home and always using condoms when having sex. Double contraception makes pregnancy very unlikely and condoms protect you and your partners from STIs. Depending on the type LARCs can last from 3 to 7 years and hormonal LARCs have the added benefit of lighter or absent periods. Examples of LARCs include subcutaneous (under the skin) implant like jadelle and nexplanon, hormone containing intrauterine devices (IUDs) like mirena, and copper IUDs.Disclaimer: I am not your doctor and above is not medical advice. Please consult your physician if you have any concerns or questions about your health care.
