I am having the same problem. I typically can send a message without issues but whenever I try to attach a file or forward an email with an attachment, I get the following message; Unable to send message If you are sending a link, try adding some text to it. This helps us fight spam. I always add text to a message send. I've even added text to the text message I first initiated but with the attachment (link?), I hit the glitch message. One of my email tests gave the same message so I went on to other tasks (off the computer) leaving the system running. The next morning I went into Drafts and noticed the email (which would not load the attachment the night before) showed the attachment as loaded, yet I was not sure if it really was. I sent it out as a test to another household computer/email. It went through and the attachment was included. All this to say, YAHOO MAIL IS NOT WORKING RIGHT! I'm still looking for answers.

I try to send a message and it doesnt matter who i am sending it to or what i write it says message not sent. The message you composed has not been sent. Such message blocks are usually caused by sending a message whose content has triggred our spam filters, or by sending to too many recipients at a given time. I have looked everywhere and 1 help file said to send in plain text but that does not work. It doesnt matter who i send an email to or what is in the email it never makes it but i can receive emails just fine.

Everyone on the internet "thinks" they know the answer to this issue, yet nobody really knows. I do know that it has nothing to do with anyone intentionally blocking you. T-Mobile has no clue. Don't even bother going through both levels of tech support or taking it to the store to get some bozo Illuminati mind-controlled worker drone who doesn't have a clue either. My guess is that there is a compatibility issue with the phone and the network it is on. I have tried various access point names with no success thus far. However, changing these settings are what worked for my wife's Android phone. It is my opinion that the companies who make the phones have the technology to make the phones compatible with multiple networks but don't seem to give a crap. They only care about how much money they make and how fast they make it. That is due to the competitive monetary system that will eventually be the complete demise of the world, and very soon. I can't send emails - just get 'unable to send message'. This is only from my yahoo account - I can send from my business email account?
The suspicious mail filter is killing our business communications. On top of that, I'm now unable to email pictures from my phone to my Yahoo account. After more than a dozen years, When this first started occurring, I reported it to AT&T. They contacted Yahoo and were told that the filters were working properly. I tried contacting Yahoo directly and no response. I'm going to quit using Yahoo as a main email browser. I have no choice as its frustrating the heck out of people trying to send me legitimate emails only to have them rejected as suspicious content or their account was a noted spam sending address.

I just added this... so let s get together and let Yahoo know that they stand a chance to lose a LOT of customers!!!: I cannot send an email if it has links... or an attachment... or ANYTIME that I want to send an email, it seems! I keep getting a security response - and then I have to start all over with my Gmail account. Ever since you got into bed with AT&T you guys have continually gotten worse. I am not going to go through and add spaces to every single link that I have in my emails - some threads are MONTHS long in the process... and this ONLY happens when accessing webmail on the desktop (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari - many different computers and systems, as well as OS versions - ONLY when using the webmail!). There tens of thousands that are having this issue (like hundreds of thousands) - and we are starting a grass roots action to end using yahoo EN MASSE and go to Google... unless you can fix this. Social media is VERY powerful these days (I work social media for AT&T - Trust Me!!) - please fix this asap - AND respond to my email. Thank you.

Sorry, but that's BS. It is NOT about a bad address, formatting, etc. (and if so, there needs to be an error message that says so, not "SendMailFailed"). I've had this problem REPEATEDLY; so, obviously, have MANY other people. If I didn't have an e-mail address I can't just easily change and inform people of -- I'd be gone in a f*****g heartbeat. I'm FURIOUS at Yahoo! Mail, and so's my wife, and so're tons of people I know. (Oh, by the way, I PAY for this ****.)

Android has gotten very tight and impenetrable on its security over the past few years. You used to be able to send a malicious media file embedded with malicious code that was designed to exploit the stagefright media library. It took advantaged of the integer overflow vulnerability which involves the input of a value that is out of range which can lead to privilege escalation. This has been patched tightly. Exploitation is possible, but it requires extensive knowledge of the Android system and it's inner workings and libraries. You can also take advantage of social engineering to convince someone to install a malicious app that will open a back door. You can use a tool called Metasploit to generate an Android app file (.apk) that will open up a back door for remote command execution. However, android displays several warnings for third party apps not from the Play store. It also scans apps for well known vulnerabilities and will warn the user if it is a malicious app. It is pretty much mandatory, at this point, to have physical access to the device to install a backdoor app. Also, it isn't recommended to use this advice for nefarious intentions!
