That's easy. All you have to do is make sure your Sound options are set. Go to the Control Panel and choose Sounds. You want to change the Event Sounds. See first link below. To make a change to the sound for an event, select the event in the Sounds Dialog box, then click on "Browse". This will open a file-search dialog allowing you to locate the file. Select the C: drive and look in your "Program Files" folder for the e-Speaking program folder (if you have installed e-Speaking). Then open the Sounds folder. You can download various sounds for different events through the Internet. (see second link below) The sounds are stored as WAV files on your computer. To update an even't sound, all you have to do is point the computer to the location of the appropriate sound.

What ever happened to AOL?
AOL has since been spun off from Time Warner effective a few months ago and is run imdependently. Over the years it has gradually lost a lot of its client base and its decision to discontinue support of the Netscape web browser a few years ago hasn't helped matters. http://blog.netscape.com/2007/12/28/end-... They also split its internet access and advertising business in 2008 and it was suggested at that time that they may selloff the internet access divison at a later time. Although it is still around along with its products such as AOL Mail, AIM messenger, etc, competition is fierce and AOL are clearly losing the ISP war.

How do you recover deleted Emails? (AOL/Aim Specifically)?
My saved mail folder was accidentally deleted on my aim account. I have downloaded programs that supposedly recover Emails, as well as other file types. Those programs can only recover what's on the hard drive. Those emails were managed on a different laptop which i no longer have. I need a way to recover them without the need for that hard drive. Like online or through the AOL sever? If anyone knows of a way to help me out i'd greatly appreciate it.
