Why Is A Dead Body Always Too Big For A Hole In The Ground

What is the best place to hide a dead body?

Any number of locations. Since you have between 5 minutes and never before the police discover that someone has been killed,, you will have ample amounts of time to dispose of the remains before they are discovered. Some thoughts:The septic tank of an abandoned property.Almost anywhere at a closed refinery (most refineries will never be torn down due to the massive remediation costs involved when they are. Find a good hiding spot there and place the body in the open or bury it)Numerous quarries are around and most are filled with water. If you ensure that the body will not float to the surface, they are often great disposal locations. Inside the wall of a home or building - If the body is allowed to desiccate (mummify) then there will be little or no odor. Simply open a wall, insert the body and replaster or drywall it and paint over it.Underneath an area to be used as a pen or feed lot for domesticated animals. The weight of the animals, plus their manure and the straw placed down to control it will form its own "cap" over the burial site.In plain sight - The roof of tall abandoned building (hidden from overhead viewing) , an open area in a remote part of the country (after staying there for 2-3 days to see if anyone comes along), or in a storm drain along a lightly used state or county road.Inside the trunk of a vehicle in a salvage yard. Make certain that the vehicle is a rather common model, but is in generally poor condition.A environmental ghost town - A town or area abandoned due to severe pollution or radiological concerns. If you have access to a private airplane and you live near an ocean, take the body out to sea, several hundred miles and dump it. Unless it is caught by a storm or current, animal predation and decay will take care of it within several days.Dig a narrow, but deep trench or hole and vertical bury the body. It won't look like a normal grave and it covers only a few square feet or meters at the most, Since the area disturbed will not resemble a hole or trench it is unlikely that it will ever be discovered.

How do I bury my dead cat in the winter? Her body is sealed in a box. I LIVE IN mINNESOTA.?

Some people will carefully seal their cats and freeze them and wait until the ground thaws or better yet have their pets they love cremated which isn't expensive. Sorry for your loss.

Ideas for thawing the ground for pet burial?

Firstly, I am sorry for your loss and I understand your wishes. Practically, what you want to do cannot be done... the ground is simply too frozen for you to be able to do this. I do not think you have much choice but to gently and respectfully wrap his body and either freeze it in the freezer or leave it outside protected from disturbance if it is too large. You can either drive his body to a vet's office (who can send it to a crematorium for you) or bury him in the spring when the ground has thawed. I am in Michigan, and folks here either store bodies of pets or cremate or have the vet dispose of pets which have died because there is really nothing else to be done.

What happens to a body that's buried above ground, in a shrine in a memorial park or something?

I just wonder what happens to the body .. I know it rot under the ground, but does it above the ground too, when the person that has passed is in a casket in a memorial house?

Will it rot, become only bones? How long does it stay "in one piece"? Will the body be positioned the same as it was when it was first layed in the casket? Also, is the eyes closed or open? .. I've just always wondered about this ..

Thanks, in advance ♥

Pet mouse dead - what to do?

It's okay to bury her.

If the room is cool at times or the temperature changes from warm to cold at night, a single mouse can die without warm bedding and a source of warmth.

Mice need fresh clean water, some water drippers don't work reliably, the can be plenty of water in the bottle and none in the stainless steel tube.

If the mouse is in a cage and there is a flow of air passing through the room the mouse will get too cold.

Next time if you buy doe mice get three, they do much better with company. I have 12 mice, seven of them are wild, it's like keeping a zoo.

Join a good mouse group and read the posts, ask questions, describe your mouse and how she was, the group will help work out what went wrong.

Here is the Elephant Necropsy Protocal which is for the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. It is quit in depth on what they can and cannot do in regards to the carcass of the animal, depending on the circumstances of the death. Itis extremely long so I on;y included the link.

Why in Canada do you wait until spring to bury a deceased relative that died in winter?

This is not at all true in modern times. Even the smallest village has access(if only through a loan/rental) to equipment like a backhoe. Which is how they get dug in summer. So often a burial service will own equipment that it needs. It is barely true in a historical sense, and I know of two ways that winter graves were dug earlier in Canadian history.First: a number of graves would be prepared before winter.Second: additional graves could be dug by building a fire on the ground. This is still used for construction in modern times. When I first moved to Grande Prairie Alberta, houses were being built in winter time. To prepare the ground for easier digging —by machinery— the ground was thawed by building smoldering piles of straw. Over a number of days, the heat would soften the ground.I’ve personally had to dig a hole in winter time. We needed to uncover a gas pipe, and wasn’t quite clear exactly where it was, though the direction was known. For this reason, machinery could not be used. A work crew I was on dug a slot trench perpendicular to the lay of the pipe. It was incredibly hard work, and it took about a dozen of us all day. Once the pipe was exposed, machinery was used to enlarge the hole.Later I worked at a different job, where we also uncovered buried pipes. In this case, we had a vacuum truck with a boiler and water tank. The operator used a spray wand, like at a car wash, but very long, straight, and incredibly high pressure, and steaming hot, while the assistant used the vacuum hose.By pushing this tool into the earth, a hole could be thawed two meters deep. The vacuum hose would suck the material up, and the hole was enlarged. Why that wasn’t used on the previous job I don’t know…But anyway, graves can certainly be dug in Canada in the winter time. What sometimes happens in Canada is that memorial services are held in warmer weather. But the planting can happen immediately.
