Why Is Americans So Dang Smart

Why are asians so smart?

Cause baby I was born this way

Why are Americans so smart?

I've stepped inside Walmart. It showed me that this question's premise is invalid. In previous decades, last century, Americans on average were both fairly intelligent and fairly well educated. Both these factors seem to be declining both due to erosion from complex societal reasons, and because of deliberate attacks on American health and schools.Added:  When I say deliberate. I mean the many things like: the pushing of HFCS on Americans, despite its documented negative effects on health,Aspartame, which was rammed through the FDA by Donald Rumsfeld despite the substance first being banned on the basis of such things as its causing cancer in rats,Monsanto pushing GMOs as being safe, when evidence shows the very bad effect on the GI tract of the herbicide-related genes they spliced in;Fast food. Much of it.Schools?  There has been so much written about the dumbing down through No Child Left Behind from the Bush years, to now, with the atrocious Common Core material steamrollered through by Gates and others.

Why are Latin Americans so rude? Especially those who are from Miami, FL.?

Not everyone has to say hello, I learned that the hard way. I am a happy go lucky type person who says hi to everyone and says thank you after. But some people no matter the race will say hello and some won't....and even some won't even say thank you! I learned to still say hello so when a good person comes I won't seem rude. But yes Miami has a lot of Hispanics and Haitians there, and it hurts and sucks sometimes when you don't get the proper greeting. I talked to a middle aged one and he said that this is his people speech and they will keep it, its a great part of them.

My friend woks in your area at a food store, and two Hispanic ladies were rude who didn't speak English well, but one did say she needed to move to another state because this is there state....and yea my friend let loose....which was sad on her part. But from their view they may feel you are trying to take anyway apart of them.

A lady came here and said that its sad and she would never move to Florida.....which was wrong. She said she perfered her kids to learn German or any other speech then Spanish, and that Florida is the only state like this. I think theres a mini hidden war going on. We feel this is a America so learn English, some of them feel that they have a right to speak Spanish. I came up with a idea I think maybe we should learn Spanish to close this English vs. Spanish war? But they are nice people, remember you work in Customer service.....that type of job tends to bring special types of people.

Are Americans really smart and intelligent? Is their success in all fields worth it?

“Are Americans really smart and intelligent? Is their success in all fields worth it?”There’s no evidence that Americans are more intelligent than Canadians, Europeans, Latin Americans, Africans, or Asians. “American” is not even a separate genetic group, much less a superior one. There are some US citizens who are smarter than, for example, the average Canadian. But there are also Canadians who are smarter than the average US citizen. There’s a distribution of intelligence in every group and the distributions are nearly the same.In the past Americans were better educated than most people in the world. And Americans had a richer support structure, from production tools, to modern factories, to the road and rail systems, to scientific research and development. Those advantages encouraged optimism and hard work. Those advantages encouraged smart, hard working people from other countries to come here. The whole package made for American success in many areas. The rest of the world has been catching up to the US for decades:— Germany and Japan started catching up right after world war II ended. Korea, China, and southeast Asia got into the race in the 1970s and 80s. Now there are millions of people in other countries who are as well educated as the average US citizen. And there are new factories all over the world that match or exceed the efficiency of US factories. Many Americans deny that this is happening, or believe it’s not important. Many Americans don’t believe they need to be better educated than their parents or grandparents. Many Americans believe they deserve a higher standard of living than other countries. This is further evidence that Americans are not smarter or more intelligent than other people.
