Why Is Chavez Jr. A Disgrace

Why do some people hate Danny Glover?

Good question!

Danny "the commie lover" Glover is a TRAITOR and a disgrace to the USA. He went to meet with an enemy leader and denounce the USA.

One U.S. Congressman stated, "I am shocked and saddened that a prominent American like Danny Glover would cut a sweetheart movie deal with the likes of Hugo Chavez,” Mack said. “To turn to an avowed enemy of the United States, and someone who in his own right has snuffed out dissent and free speech, for movie financing smacks of radicalism and opportunism run amok.”

Julio cesar chavez legendary unbeaten streak 90-0?

don julio cesar chavez had a goal of making it to 100-0 & was 10 fights short of acomplishing his goal..with chavez's comeforward style & taking lots of punishment,he was one of the toughest boxers in history..chavez broke joe louise's record in the most title defenses,& chavez was also in the most title fights more than any other boxer in the history of the sport..chavez first won the wbc title from another tough mexican mario azabache martinez & mario was the favorite to win that fight.chavez brutally koed martinez in a blood & guts war that ended up with both fighters drentched in blood..boxers can lose there prime in a single bout with the style chavez had..some fighters could only have a few wars & still be in tip top shape & most will be permanantly damaged..chavez was in dozens & dozens of wars & its amazing that chavez still has a brain..meldrick taylor got punch drunk after 1 war with chavez...my question is where do you ppl rank chavez in the p4p list of all time? http://mx.youtube.com/watch?v=lbL-jL48e6A http://mx.youtube.com/watch?v=pFQ2oJ3asaM http://mx.youtube.com/watch?v=Dylwo0CPKKw

What are some of the most famous draw decision bouts in boxing history?

Like close decisions that went either way in almost evenly fought boxing matches, draws are rarely famous or popular but in fact usually controversy-ridden. But they stick and are recorded as such in the official record books. The ones I remember well are:

1. Hagler-Antoufermo ( middleweight )-------Hagler was still under the radar so Vito got the benefit of the doubt.
2. Leonard-Hearns 2 ( super middleweight )-----Hearns deserved to win but the powers that be did not want to smear Leonard's legacy.
3. Calderon-Mayol technical draw ( minimum weight )----i think it's fair.
4. Ben Villaflor-Apollo Yoshio ( junior lightweight )-----No way Apollo could have earned a stalemate!
5. Marquez-Pacquiao1 ( featherweight )-----controversial to this day.
6. Chavez-Whitaker ( junior welterweight )-----The judges might have been watching a different fight! Whaitaker was pitching a no hitter!
7. Dokes-Weaver 2 ( heavyweight )----It's hard to call so I think it's just alright.
8. Lewis-Holyfield ( heavyweight )----Holy drew the fight he should have lost and lost the fight he should have won!
9. Robinson-Fullmer 4 (middleweight)---even on his slide, Sugar still had enough to pull even with the younger, stronger Gene.
10,Armstrong-Ceferino Garcia ( middleweight )-----Someone up there liked Ceferino. Not necessarily super natural, I mean.
11. Griffith-Briscoe 2 ( middleweight)---Philly's Benny B was handful even for a grizzled vet like Emile.
12. Monzon-Briscoe 1 ( middleweight )----The first time they met in Monzon territory, Benny proved equal to then also up and coming Argentine who would go on to beat him twice when Monzon was already undisputed world champion.

Also Mosley-Mora and Wolak-Rodriguez

Is Canelo Alvarez overrated?

Probably not - but depends on who you judge him against; so is he as slick as Floyd, no way, does he have the blood and thunder of Chavez, no way.But he is sharp, rugged, a good boxer, big puncher, experienced, well conditioned and delivers the result. His resume is mixed but he has beaten some good fighters - Mosely, Cotto, Lara, Trout, and only lost to Mayweather (no disgrace in that). However, for the pluses then he has also beaten vastly overmatched opponents; Lopez (who is really a light welter), Khan (again really a light welter), Matt Hatton and Kirkland. Also some of the judging is mind-boggling with Canelo - Im not even a Mayweather fan really but having watched his fight with Canelo then he took Alvarez to school, and one of the judges scored it a draw!, again he got a UD against Cotto and I thought Cotto put up a great performance, also against Lara one of the judges had it to Alvarez by about 7 rounds, crazy. He is a product of modern times really - and what Oscar is trying to do with him is copy Floyd’s route (be a huge star, then just pick and choose and demand contractual things that penalise the opponent - e.g. Chavez Jr being at 164.5 for example, the whole 155lbs for a MW belt goings on). Also he lost a lot of credibility after the whole ‘Mexicans dont f*ck around’ nonsense and then giving GGG the MW belt - can you imagine Chavez Sr ever saying that, or Barrera???However, Mexicans love him, he is young, rich, famous, happy and will have a long and successful career Im sure - but will he be mentioned in the all times greats, even from Mexico, I doubt it.

Why wasn't the USS Arizona not left complete?

Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, the US needed materials to build more ships or other pieces of equipment to fight the war, so any equipment that was damaged beyond short term repair was scrapped. They didn't raise the hull of the Arizona due to the damage and how it could tear apart.

What do you think of the graffiti, "Where is Lee Harvey Oswald when we need him?"

It’s not at all original. I first saw that slogan as a bumper sticker in 1968 (before spray paint on walls was considered art), and it has been applied during every administration since. Curiously, although the most hate was reserved for Barack HUSSEIN Obama (“ . . . But I’m not racist”) and HILLARY Clinton, only Gearld Ford and Ronald Reagan were shot at.Both Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme — the acolyte of Chales Manson and the Aryan Nation, who pulled a gun on Ford but neglected to chamber a round — and Sara Jean Moore, who actually shot at Ford have been released from prison. Ms. Fromme is now living in New York State. John Hinckley Jr., who shot President Reagan in 1981 was released from custody in 2016, under several conditions, one being that he may not attempt to have any contact with actress Jodie Foster. All three assassins are portrayed as characters in Stephen Sondheim’s musical, Assassins, which won five Tony awards.Bullets did strike the White House during the Obama administration, but only the President’s young daugheter was in the residence at the time. The shooter was Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, 21, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and he had told a friend that the president was “the Antichrist,” a sentiment Republicans commonly agree with.If U.S. tradition holds true, conspiracy theories will appear (if they haven’t already) that Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez was only “a patsy,” and Hillary Clinton was actually the shooter. (You can pass this on to Reddit, but don’t use my name. I’ve always wondered who makes-up these stories.)

After only 6 months in office, Trump's approval rating is 36%, the lowest of any presidents. How low will it go?

So far, his true believers, who I assume constitute most of that 36%, are sticking with him. He throws out a few bones here and there, all lies, excuses and distortions, that are snatched up by those who want to believe. In the US, you can find 25% of a typical population sample who will believe just about anything you ask. Not the same people, mind you, but there are about 20 -25% of the electorate who always vote for one or the other of the major parties. You will find about the same percentage who believe in angels supporting airplanes in flight, another who think the earth is flat, another who believe in alien abductions, no matter what. So I think it’s impossible for him to get lower than one-fifth to one-quarter of folks who love him unconditionally. The good news (to me anyway) is that when his approval ratings get that low and stay there, he’s finished.I know of only one politician who broke the magic 25% barrier, and that is New Jersey’s governor Chris Christie. He’s running about 5% now. To do that, he deliberately created a multi-day traffic emergency to punish a political enemy. If you really want to be hated, try to make the NJ traffic worse than it already is. Then his administration closed all the state parks for fiscal reasons. He was filmed from helicopter parking his expansive butt in a lawn chair enjoying a beer and his family on a beach that had been closed to everyone else. It’s his last term and I guess he figures it doesn’t matter how much he’s hated at this point.

Where do Republicans draw the line when it comes to the things that the President does/says?

Republicans will draw the line when Trump starts denigrating war heroes. No?Republicans will draw the line when Trump declares that another country is sending murderers and rapists across our borders. No, that won't do it.Republicans will draw the line when Trump incites violence at campaign rallies. No.Republicans will draw the line when Trump is caught on video admitting to sexual assault. No, all those women were liars!Republicans will draw the line when Trump threatens to jail his political opponent from the debate stage. No, I think they enjoyed that taste of dictatorship.Republicans will draw the line when our own intelligence agencies present incontrovertible evidence of Russian election tampering and Trump ignores it calling it a ruse. No, suddenly Republicans trust Putin more than the CIA.Republicans will draw the line when Trump fires the FBI Director because he's investigating the hacking of our election. No, it's perfectly alright for Trump to fire the man investigating him.Republicans will draw the line when Trump waits two weeks to fire National Security Adviser Flynn for lying to the Vice President. No, Republicans will just cover their eyes and ears.Republicans will draw the line when Trump and his son are caught lying about a meeting with a Kremlin connected Russian lawyer. No, he's new at this. He didn't know it was improper to meet with foreign nationals promising dirt on your opponent???Republicans will draw the line when Trump is caught paying a porn star $130,000 in hush money. Just where did this $130,000 come from? No, Trump deserves a "mulligan" on this one even though there is no admission of guilt or apology forthcoming. So much for family values.OK, I'm getting tired and there is no line in sight. Maybe someone out there has some suggestions. The idea of Republicans siding with the Russians and a President who denigrates our highest law enforcement agencies is beyond belief. They are bringing disgrace to themselves and worse, our country.
