Why is everyone so mean to me?
Because you let them.I’ll speak from personal experience now. Since i was a little kid i’ve always been a very shy and peaceful person, tried to help everyone around me and solve other people’s problems even if i didn’t have anything to do with it.I consider myself a very compassionate person, even.Do you wanna know what i got from them? Bad answers, fake friendships, back stabs, bad attitudes.All of this because of my shyness, lack of confidence and low self-esteem.If that’s your case too, i think i’ve already said what you have to do.Have confidence in yourself.Don’t believe everything they say, people lie a lot just to look good. Always doubt people, never trust someone fully because that’s a ultimate backstab.Don’t let people judge you because of how/who you are, the only person who’s allowed to do that is YOU.Do whatever you want, don’t let anyone step in your dreams. The last thing they want is to help you fulfill them, no matter what it seems.And lastly, love yourself. No one will love you the way you can love yourself.People always love themselves first, no matter what. And guess what? The words everyone and everybody are interchangeable. They both mean “every person,” so use whichever one sounds best in your particular sentence. Grammarians actually agree that the words everyone and everybody are singular. Everyone sounds like a lot of people, but in grammar land, everyone is a singular noun and takes a singular verb. (This is wrong because it's pairing the singular noun everyone with a plural verb, are.) ◦Everyone hates subject-verb agreement. (This is right because everyone and hates are both singular.)
Why does everyone always give me mean looks?
Why does almost everyone in public give me strange looks or mean looks as if I did something awful to them? It's ridiculous. People always give me looks as if I give off some sort of negative vibe, or some sort of evil spirit inside of me. But it's gotten to the point where I can no longer overlook it. I'm not even looking at people and I can see them staring at me and it just doesn't make sense anymore. I'm the nicest person ever and it's becoming too overbearing. Because of this constant staring and mean glares I get from random people in public, I'm way too anxious to go out in public (alone at least). It's much different when I'm with a friend in public, but when I'm by myself, I get mean looks from people usually when they're with their friends... Some things to consider.. -I'm African American (But I don't present myself as a sterotypical African American) -I dorm in a building in the city of Chicago that has mostly weird, pretentious, art students -I don't exactly carry a smile on my face 24/7 when I'm in public Is anyone else in the same boat with me? Or am I alone on this? I literally don't know anymore. I went to go to get dinner downstairs in a good mood, but this literally set me in a bad mood only because it happens every single time. I literally predicted it would happen before I even went downstairs. Even plugging in headphones and listening to music didn't help... :\ Help?!
Why do everyone treat me so badly?
I think that your ready for the next stage in your life, and are seeing things more clearly. Other people know when someone is different and a lot of kids just can't stand that you may have something going on. Jealousy, ignorance, spite, all of that stuff is coming into play. I went through it a long time ago, but its still the same thing, just the clothes and music are different. If you have aspirations of going to college, junior college, or a certificate program, ask your school counselor about it, and then find some other kids with the same kind of hopes for the future. Team up, make some friends, and stick with people that want to be somebody in the future, not in the short life span of high school. You sound like your on the right track, make it work for you, and really take advantage of what you can while your there. Be somebody who is happy, healthy, and WISE!
