Why Is Fluids Dripping On The Inside Of My Legs And Not Coming Out Just Moving Down When I Stand Up

I am a neurosurgeon  and what you are describing could be a case of spontaneous CSF rhinorrhea. CSF means cerebrospinal fluid and it's the fluid which is giving nutrition and cushioning effect to your brain. And rhinorrhea means leaking from nose. This leaking usually is more on sneezing coughing or bending forwards....and there is a salty taste to it. This usually starts when there is some bony defect within the nose which let's the sterile CSF out through the nose. The feeling of dizziness and black outs can also be explained because if this as it can cause intracranial hypotension ( sorry for using medical terms). Intracranial hypotension occurs when the Cushioning effect of CSF is lost momentarily and the pressure the head decreases causing dizziness. You should get yourself evaluated by a neurosurgeon. As this leaking is not a normal thing and this increases the chance of infection spreading into the sterile csf and which has its own consequences ( details your doctor can provide).First he will ask you to collect that fluid in a sterile container and do some tests to make are that it's CSF and nothing else. And after that depending on the results, further imaging to find the cause will be done. This should not be taken lightly and visit your doctor as early as possible.Dont get scared or alarmed. All these are treatable conditions. As far as the question of memory impairment is concerned. There is no way this CSF leak can cause memory loss. There are no neurons lost ( it's absolutely absurd) and the memory region of the brain is in entirely different location. You can get your memory also evaluated by your neurosurgeon ( but I am pretty sure it's not needed). To repeat again....don't take this condition lightly. If you have1) Watery discharge coming thru nose with sneezing coughing bending forward etc2) If that fluid is salty to taste 3) If you are having some fever along with the leak4) If you have a history of injury to nose , head or were involved in some accident many years ago.If you have these symptoms.Go visit your doctor. it's essential.

Water dripping down leg sensation?

I cured my sciatica with this natural treatment http://cure-sciatica.info
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

Since you've had this your whole life and it doesn't cause pain or other problems other than noise, which is probably crepitus [1], it might not be such a big deal, but I would get it checked out just to be sure. I sincerely doubt you can hear your spinal fluid moving, it's a tightly closed system deep within the body and well away from what you could hear with your own ears. A physician will be best able to determine which tissues are causing the crepitus and whether it's a cause for worry or not.  You really have to have someone perform a physical exam with the proper tools to determine the source of the crepitus.  They will also be able to determine if a scan is needed if it does appear to be a cause for concern.  My guess is that there is some sort of tension or dysfunction in the soft tissues of the throat or deep paraspinal muscles that make the crepitus when you swallow or breathe deeply in a supine position. There is a LOT of cartilage and other connective tissue in the neck, not to mention a virtual spaghetti-bowl of little muscles that can develop tension that can produce crepitus. Do relate to the doctor that lying down and swallowing/breathing deeply - or whatever description best matches how you feel and what you are doing when you notice it, and that there doesn't appear to be any symptoms other than the crepitus. They are your best bet for a good answer.  Good luck.[1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cre...

What is the clear fluid that is leaking from my skin after a bad sunburn?

As everyone here says, uve started preparing food for your baby which is a very good symptom. During my first pregnancy, i used to see the clear fluid that u mentioned here, during my bath when i massage my breast and nipples. I had to do that as i felt i had a kind of flat nipples. So had to do the massage as per the doctors advise. I didnt leak much except for a few drops when ever i massaged. But soon after i delivered, it started leaking a lot. Now again i am pregnant with my second and i see drops of it coming out when i do the massage after my bath. I feel happy when i see that thinking that my body had already started preparing food for my little one. If it is leaking a lot, use breast pads inside ur bra. U are not that far as u are in ur 37th week. Enjoy the rest of ur pregnancy and relax. U will be holding ur bundle of joy very soon. :-) Good luck to you and wishing you a very smooth, safe and a peaceful delivery :-)

Leaking Amniotic Fluid?

Ring your labour and delivery ward, let them know you think you are leaking fluids. I'm 99% sure they will tell you to get your things together and come in so they can check to see if they have broken or not. Or they might tell you to stay put, monitor the flow of liquid and wait for contractions. If they don't start they longest you have is about 24hrs before baby needs to be out of you so you don't risk infection reaching him/her and you. Put a pad on right now so you can measure how much fluid is coming out by the wetness in the pad an hour from now. (the midwives may want to see how wet it is too). If it is really soaked you know its amniotic fluid. If its just a dribble it could be urine (it happens) or if its dry you could have a hind leak or are not leaking at all. But best put a pad on anyway to catch it... Good luck

Fluid in my legs...what does this mean...?

Because you mention your grandmother, it seems that it could be a genetic or hereditary condition. You need to have your doctor do blood work to check for diabetes, organ problems, maybe have a heart work up like an EKG; ultrasound, stress test, and holter monitor if there is any irregular heart beat or high blood pressure, you need to be checked for vein problems and if all that is rules out then you may have lymphedema. Primary lymphedema is hereditary. It means your lymph system is not functioning properly due to having less lymph nodes than you need or a disformed lymph system. IF your doctor says you have lymphedema do NOT take a diuretic. Most doctors do not know squat about the condition. You need to be referred to a lymphedema therapist. The treatment protocol is called complete/complex decongestive therapy. It consists of manual lymph drainage, compression, skin care, and special exercises to move fluid out of the legs. The manual lymph drainage is bodywork similiar to a massage and one MUST be certified to perform it.

If indeed you have lymphedema, please email me and I can help you more.

PS: for now, try to elevate your legs when sitting and laying down. for laying down, put a pillow under them. When sitting, try to use a footstool to elevate, when on the computer you can jiggle your legs similiar to someone bouncing a baby on your lap, that motion helps edema. You want to also sit so that the crease of your leg, groin area, is not pinched or compressed as that is where the inguinal nodes are. By compressing them it helps to retain fluid in the lower extremedies.

You may have to read about lymphedema to understand it and realize you have it too as alot of doctors don't even know that the word means, let alone how to treat it.

Diuretics are not helpful for lymphedema as they push out the water but leave the plasma, proteins and gunk there which harden and cause fibrosis.

PPS: notice the person up higher with the "dr" in front of their ID didn't mention lymphedema, only the vein problems which can cause clots. That's why if tests show nothing else, you may have lymphedema, but your doctor may not know the term. Most of us in the support groups have had to educate our doctors.

Why is fluid seeping out of my leg?

Rheumatoid vasculitis - RA inflames blood vessels which end up weeping out of vessels to skin. Mine was eventually a chronic battle with cellulitis. Left leg was worst one but it does effect both lower legs and ankles. Other condition with vasclitis is Sjogren's Syndrome. Not much fun to live with all this (rashes, bumps that leak, sores in mouth and on tongue, sometimes itching and the big part is pain 7 to 10+ My experience has been most physicians don't know what it is (lower legs and feet are brown 24/7 because of the blood under the skin which creates brownish blotches to go along with the rash.......little target shaped erruptions on legs, feet, ankles. Best of luck to all of you with these diseases - they can become fatal if ignored. KAREN

My refrigerator is leaking water inside, fridge and freezer still seem to work fine , any ideas how to fix it?

Two separate things can cause this problem. Either the drain is restricted at the top (most likely), or at the bottom of the hose (not likely). The other cause would be if the drain pan in the freezer is plugged. If the drain pan hole is frozen closed you will be getting water from both vent holes in the refig. top on each side near the back. If the drain is plugged the water will be from the center of the back wall.

What most often happens something will get in the drain cup in the refrig. and start growing and plug the drain cup. The drain cup catches the water from the freezer defrost, passes it through the back to the drain hose were it runs into a pain under th refig. where it evaporates.

To access the drain cup when the refig controls are in the back of the refig., remove the light cover, remove the knobs, remove the control cover. The drain cup should be visible now. If you don't see any screws holding the drain cup in, it should pull straight out. Clean and replace. You may want to run a little water through it after the drain cup is put back in to make sure it isn't plugged behind the cup. A little bleach water will help keep it from plugging again right away.

If the drain pan is frozen in the freezer, the easiest thing to do is unplug the refig., Open booth doors and waite until the water quites coming out the drain hose. This could take a day or longer depending how ice is built up under the cover inside the freezer.

Good luck

Is it normal for the semen to drip out of me after my husband ejaculates in me?

Since most of your answers are the same, here is some more information that might help you...

When the man ejaculates in the woman (in missionary position which is best for conception) his sperm actually spurts onto the cervix, but most of it ends up in a little bowl in your vagina just underneath the cervix.

When the woman has an orgasm, the cervix actually dips up and down into the bowl and back out of it, each time it dips into it, it picks up a bit more of the sperm.

Now, some scientists believe that a woman also has an 'ejaculation' about 5 to 15 minutes after her orgasm. Basically what that means is the body is actually trying to remove all those sperm that did NOT make it into the cervix. The reason for this is to basically keep you clean, and to actually help you conceive.

There are several different types of sperm. Two of which are...the fertilizers, and the killers. You know what the fertilizers do, and you can imagine what the killers do. By your body getting rid of the residual sperm left in your vaginal tube, they get rid of fertilizers, which will never fertilize your egg because they didnt make it into the cervix, but they also get rid of the killers, which would prevent the fertilizers from your next intercourse from getting in.

Once I found out this information, I didnt feel so bad about having the stuff dripping out. You can try what everyone else has advised, holding your legs up, your butt up, etc, but the best thing you can do...

Make sure that you have your orgasm either after your husbands, or at the same time because a womans orgasm lasts quite a while, and the cervix is still dipping even when the woman herself stops feeling the orgasm. If you have your orgasm first, your cervix is dipping into a dry bowl!

Much Luck!
