Why Is He Making This So Difficult

Why did the founding fathers make it so difficult to amend the constitution?

the purpose was to make certain that any Amendments had the overwhelming support of the Citizens of the United States of America.

Why is my husband making our divorce so difficult and how can I get him to cooperate with me?

I think it's because it's not costing him anything to delay, and he gets the added benefit of annoying and frustrating you as a form of revenge for leaving him.   As a broad generality, guys don't like to be bossed around by their wives/girlfriends (does anyone, male or female?)  But I would say guys in particular  lose face because it could look like they are being dominated by someone else to other men.  And there's no way he's going to be 'pussy whipped'--- by his ex in particular.  He's telling you through his actions, he'll try to file again when he's good and ready.  You're his ex, maybe not on paper, but your importance in his life has diminished and he will act reflecting that. Now if his current GF starts putting pressure on him to get married he might step more quickly to divorce.  But until then, he has a new GF and is living life and also has you at a step disadvantaged so life is looking pretty fine.Re: green card, I think he realizes what's going on isn't going to affect that either way, so why hurry up.Personally I agree with you,  let's move on with our lives.  But he's getting more right now out of making you uncomfortable than it's worth it to him to be free from the entanglement.I think you can either get a lawyer to try to force him somehow (?) but it may result in his digging in his heels.   Or, once you've gotten serious with a lawyer, he may cave.Personally I'd stop pressuring him on the phone or in person, because every time you talk to him, you are probably reinforcing the message that you want those papers and it moves when he'll try to serve papers again even further down his own personal timeline.   He sees it not as you trying to free the both of you but as your trying to put his thumb on him.  So therefore to save face in his mind, he has to delay even more.

What are the reasons that law making is so difficult in the congress?

1. Lobbyists and Special Interest Groups. They pressure lawmakers to either introduce or amend bills they plan on introducing. Usually this route starts in the House of Representatives where a bill is usually filed and then referred to a committee or sub-committee.

2. Committee and Sub-Committee makeups. Aside from the lobbyists and special interests, the committee people have to put their gloss on it.

3. Assuming it goes out of committee then it gets put up for a vote, and often compromises are either worked into it, or worse yet, amendments are tacked on. That is something that someone else wants gets tacked onto the bill in the House before it goes to a vote. So those who want the vote may have to support that little extra added on called the amendment.

4. Often times that amendment can be a problem, killing the vote or tabling it until the term expires. In which case it dies on the House floor. If the bill isn't acted on by the committee during the term, it dies in committee or sub-committee.

5. If the bill passes the vote in the House it then goes to the Senate side to see what they have waiting by way of either parallel track, or they will seek a compromise version.

6. Then if it goes to vote in the Senate, you have to worry about a fillibuster. That could break the bill through term.

7. Let's say it passes both houses, then it goes to the President. If he executes the bill with his signature, its enacted. But the president has the right to veto the bill, or, just sit on it and take no action on it through term. In which case, its a pocket veto.

8. If the president vetos the bill rather than pocket it, both houses can overrule his veto and vote it in by a supermajority vote of I believe 66 percent or more in both houses.

So there it is.

Why is making an artificial photosynthesis system so difficult?

Imagine a technology that would not only provide a green and renewable source of electrical energy, but could also help scrub the atmosphere of excessive carbon dioxide resulting from the burning of fossil fuels. That’s the promise of artificial versions of photosynthesis, the process by which green plants have been converting solar energy into electrochemical energy for millions of years. To get there, however, scientists need a far better understanding of how Nature does it, starting with the harvesting of sunlight and the transporting of this energy to electrochemical reaction centers.

“To fully understand how the energy-transfer system in photosynthesis works, you can’t just study the spatial landscape of these pigment-protein complexes, you also need to study the electronic energy landscape. This has been a challenge because the electronic energy landscape is not confined to a single molecule but is spread out over an entire system of molecules,”

Why is life difficult for good people?

I’m damn sure that your question basically points to living a life. Before answering this, allow me to tell you what living a life actually includes. I’m sorry but living a life doesn’t mean happiness and nothing else. Living a life involves stepping towards a destination over a path which is meant to be smooth at some points as well as containing delves at some other points. Existence of those delves is also relevant as they’re crucial in teaching important lessons of life that would be helpful in crossing the path further where the hurdles could be much more.Moving back to our question, there already exist so many parameters in the society to decide whether he is a good person or a bad person. From my perspective, a good person strongly believes in “Law of Karma”. It’s not like that he has to face more difficulties. Rather, a good person develops a habit to learn a new lesson from each difficulty he faces. A good person always chooses a righteous way to tackle that difficulty due to which sometimes it may take extra time, but trust me this deed gives an ultimate satisfaction. A good person knows that no one is superior to nature. Nature regularly monitors all of us. So if a duffer boasts about his ability and/or uses his ability against an inferior making the life of the inferior more difficult, the nature is sure to produce a superior before that duffer very soon. Nature has it’s own way to balance things. Undoubtedly, that duffer will be punished under the “Law of karma”.

Why do some people make life difficult for others?

In my career as a psychologist I have come through different types of personality. Mostly the people, who are total failure in their life and very much irritated, unhappy with the proceedings of their life, can't take other's well being. Some of my this type of clients even admit this very fact that they are very much jealous of other's success. Its a kind of mental disease when it affects any family or community.Even I have many clients who are very much successful in their life, but they can't take any well being as they think that its only their birth right to have all best things. Nothing fuels unhappiness quite like pessimism. The problem with a pessimistic attitude, beyond it being hard on your mood, is that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy: if you expect bad things, you’re more likely to get bad things. Pessimistic thoughts are hard to shake off until you recognize how illogical they are. These are quite pessimistic people.Complaining itself is troubling as well as the attitude that precedes it. Complaining is a self-reinforcing behavior. By constantly talking—and therefore thinking—about how bad things are, these kind of people reaffirm their negative beliefs. I have experienced that these people are quite complaining.Happy people are accountable for their actions. When they make a mistake, they own it. Unhappy people, on the other hand, find problems and mistakes to be threatening, so they try to hide them. Problems tend to get bigger when they’re ignored. Although they come to me for suggestions, but nothing they apply.Recognize these people and try to avoid them.

Amendments: Why did the framers make it so difficult to amend the constitution? Do you agree or disagree with?

Because the Constitution as written is a pretty well written and well thought out document. It should be hard to change so that some radical (who also controls both chambers of Congress with veto proof margins) can not come in and change it on a whim.

The logic being that IF the situation has significantly changed that enough of the people would recognize it and agree to the Amendment.

The inherent difficulty is a built in safe guard to protect the country from internal despots and tyrants.

So, I am completely in favor of the existing process.

Why does God make my life impossible and so difficult?

You have to understand one thing: God is not the one causing these
problems for you, or anyone else on the planet. The one who is
causing it is actually the Devil. Not convinced? I'll try my very best
to explain...When Adam and Eve were deceived by the Devil, the
Devil challenged God's authority over humans-could humans not
rule themselves? Thus, God put this to the test.
We inherited imperfection, and we sin and make mistakes, and Satan
rules the earth-not God. God is simply allowing this to happen in order
to prove to Satan that we cannot rule oursleves......And then,
after the war broke out in Heaven in 1914, the Devil was thrown down
to earth, where he "roves about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour
someone" 1 Peter 5:8. The Devil, or Satan, has been causing all misery for humankind
today- it was God's purpose for humans to live in peace and happiness
forever-and we still have that hope. Revelation 21:4 says:"He will wipe out every
tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry
nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." God is proving
to Satan that "man has dominated man to his injury"(Ecc 8:9), and shows that we
need God to rule us, in order to live in peace. "God is love", and if you pray
sincerely to Him to help you understand and find the truth, He will answer your
prayers-guaranteed! Pray, and He will give you the best of answers-remember
too that all suffer, especially those who try to be good-look at how Jesus Christ
was persecuted, yet he was a perfect and righteous man, doing the "will of his
Father"...you are not being tested by God, as it were, though keeping our faith through these "critical
times, hard to deal with" (2 Timothy 3:1)is a test! God still has a wonderful purpose
for us though, along with Rev 21:4, Psalms 37:29 reads:"The righteous themselves
will posess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it." Notice that God's original
purpose for mankind to live forever upon a peaceful earth still stands...and that time,
though no humans know, is very soon! All the best, hope I helped a bit!
