Why Is It Saying That My Yahoo Account Id Is Not Correct

How do I reset my Yahoo account when I do not have access to my old phone number?

If you haven't given an alternative email, haven't configured security questions, and haven't provided a mobile number that is current, then thats 3 strikes. I can't advise you if you have neither of those 3 safeguards set. Try contacting Yahoo support, but your chances of regaining access don't look good.

Yahoo said my account doesn't exist. Why?

First, double-check to see if the consequential “login incorrect” webpage states whether it's not recognizing username/email or if it's the password that isn't being recognized after attempting to sign-in on Yahoo. If it's not due to an incorrect password, Yahoo's server is more than likely not recognizing your account because you are not typing in your Yahoo email username/sign-in correctly (for example, type “’username’@Yahoo.com” if you are typing just your “username” alone and vice versa); if this doesn't fix the problem and you're sure it's not your password being typed wrong, you more than likely have exceeded the 90 days of inactivity of keeping your account alive (meaning if your account has been inactive or not logged into for it's allowed time of idleness, it is simply deleted off the Yahoo server and you may have to register your username/email handle all over again). If none of the above worksagain... it COULD be your password being incorrect as Yahoo tends to make users create new passwords for their accounts after around 60–70 days (this helps users avoid the inactivity period to maintain keeping their account open). Don't be stubborn and just use the “contact us” button and link, ask the server's tech reps personally!

Why can't I access my Yahoo! mail account?

Why can't I access my Yahoo! mail accountI’ve been dealing with this issue for days.Go into your browser’s settings and find your cookies list. Search for Yahoo cookies and delete all your Yahoo cookies. You can then sign into your account(s). That said, you may not have full functionality. Yahoo is continuing to have mail issues.

How do I recover my Yahoo account when I can't access my backup email or backup phone?

How much do you need it? Can you walk away and not distress about it? Or is the code to your bank vault in there? I hope not actually. Yahoo has been sold and the people running it now are not the same people that created it. (With a few notable exceptions, but that’s not going to help you either.)The new people may have great processes for this, but I didn’t even try to recover my y!mail account when I worked there because it was so hard to find the right person to get the right answer. AND I could walk over to their desks once I figured that out because I worked in Sunnyvale. If you really need this I’m so sorry. I don’t know where you should go anymore either. Similar questions have been asked on here before. Check out if they got any good answers.

How Do I Verify My Yahoo Account?

To verify your yahoo account or alternate email address, please follow the steps below:-

1. Visit your Email Management page by going this link http://edit.yahoo.com/commchannel/manage (You will be asked to verify your account with the current password)
2. On the next screen you will see the alternate email address you have listed on your account. (If your email address has changed, simply click "Add Another" and be sure click the "Save" link to the right of the desired email address.) If your email address is verified it will say so. Otherwise, click on the "Verify Now" link.
3. Check your alternate email address for our system generated email and follow the instructions.

* Note: if you do not receive your code right away, please do not request a new one. There may simply be a delay in receiving this email.*
