Why Is It That Israelis Are The Only Foreign Students Who Face Criticism Against Their Country In

Why does the Israeli government focuses only on the antisemitism of the countries of the Arab League and Iran, but does not criticize the antisemitism of Austria, Germany, France, Poland, Spain and Russia?

Who says it doesn’t? But you would be right in claiming that Israel focuses more on Arab and Iranian antisemitism. Why? Because, in Europe, antisemitism is not government policy and most countries are attempting to recognise it as a problem and deal with it, whereas the Arab League and Iran promote antisemitism at the highest levels, teach it to their children in officially approved educational textbooks and generally pose a clear and present threat to the existence of Israel.

What is the difference between legitimate criticism of the government of the State of Israel, and antisemitism?

You need to ask yourself if you treat Israel different because it’s having a Jewish identity. If this is the case, you’re getting close to ‘antisemitism terrain’. If you treat Israel as any other country, containing people from all walks of life and can differentiate between religious people, non religious people from all ethnicities and cultures making up the complete Israeli society you’re not antisemitic in my eyes. You can hold them responsible for their actions, both against their own non-Jewish minority and the people in countries around them, this is not antisemitism in my eyes.Legitimate critics could be that you disagree with a certain politics that would treat non-Jewish citizens differently from Jewish ones. Today this is for example the case in naturalisation / immigration processes in Israel. As per most healthy other democratic standards it’s discriminatory, but most Israeli’s will find it justifiable and even call you out as being antisemitic for complaining about it.What I do notice however the many Israeli’s and Jewish people are getting sick and tired of all the critics they receive and that they are too easily and too fast pulling the ‘you’re antisemitic’ card. This is understandable, but not really true.We had once a mediation discussion between an employee and two other colleagues, she was accused of stoking up tensions between the others, and when she was seeing no more ways out of the discussion she walked out of the room with a ‘you’re all racist, and you only do this because I’m a black woman’. Needless to say that we never ever made her skin color a parameter in our discussion with her. So sorry, no, you’re not having the benefit of the doubt if you’re calling me an antisemitic because I criticise your government.

How come Jewish people can't handle criticism and always cry 'anti-Semite' when someone is critical?

i actually think you have a valid point however anyone who disagrees with you will just play the race card in an attempt to stifle any objective honest discussion about it.

i strongly dislike political correctness cause it is just that. stifling & bastardizing reality. the second someone plays the prejudice card, you lost the argument because the crowd will side with them because if their ideas are challenged it means your a racist somehow.

as far as who has the right to occupy israel is beyond me to say because its not simple & i dont know enough about it. i just wanted to say your right in regards to crying racism whether its warranted or not. if you wonder why its because there are a tiny minority of jews who control factions of the media & govt who wont dare say anything bad against israel even if its warranted. why do you think our gov spends billions of dollars each year protecting israel & giving training & weapons to that region of the country when it has no benefit whatsoever to the usa.

i have nothing against the jews, my complaint is with political corrctness & devisive nut jobs who want to go around labeling everything as racism when all that does is divide people not unite.
