Now if the person(owner) who shares his file from his drive account deletes the file for some reason then that file is physically deleted from his/her drive storage account and hence the the persons with whom that file is shared will have no longer access to that file.This is because others(with whom file is shared) access the shared file (folder) using links for that file from the owner's drive account.If that particular shared file is removed or deleted from drive account by the owner then those shared links turn to be dead or not working.Note: Whenever a file is shared with you on drive you may download the file or create a copy of that same shared file on your drive account to never lose them.
