Why Is It That Most September Libras Were Premature Babies

Zodiac signs and premature birth?

I was born in August, but i was 2 months premature so I should be born in October. Being born in August I am a Virgo (the 26th), but since I was to be born in late October, does that really make me a Scorpio? It does seem that Scorpio describes me better, but I am unsure. Was I born premature because of the fact that I was SUPPOSED to be a Virgo?

Opinions?

If you were BORN PREMATURE - here's a horoscope theory that's wild, what do you think?

Very interesting theory,,,but the word Horoscope comes from the Greek work "horo" meaning hour meaning the time you were born...Personally I love being a Leo and every person has a destiny...so we were all born when we were born for a reason...So it doesn't really matter if you were born early or later...Therefore if anyone feels like they could identify better with another sign...they should read their natal chart...For me I have alot of water sign traits even though I'm a Leo...Also i have a Pisces dad and a Scorpio and a Pisces sister..so your environment has alot to do with it also...So keep on researching cause you never know....Good Luck

Premature birth: What is my true zodiac symbol?

Often ask and answered, so I'm pasting one of my other answers to save typing.

About one third of the births in the U.S. are induced labor or c-section. This does not including the premature births. A lot of these may be of convenience (Based on a doctor's tee time), a deadline, or an emergency. Not very natural. Premature births babies often need a ventilator because they can not breath on the own. So they are not taking crucial breathing on there own.

Some astrologers think that first breath is the switch that activates this magical concept. Now there is the science to freeze embryos for years beyond conception. Science can screw up what would be a "natural" birth time.

Time is the astrologer's god. However, few people know their real birth time. You are counting on some intern to get it right, if you are lucky. What if the intern forgot about about a time change and did not set her watch? Now you better have a GPS in the delivery room. Some countries do not even record the time. In the British Commonwealth nations, time is not required just day. Except for twins, first out is the legal heir.

To make a proper chart and set your stereotypes, accurate time is vital. Nobody can assume a proper birth chart. Moon and Rising signs and the rest are very important to the astrologer.

The time zones that we use now were not used until the last century. This is totally man made and not uniform. A country such as China takes up four time zones. But due to their government, it is always the same time in that country.

I'm sure the parents are happy that medical science is able to save the lives of the premature. Not too long ago, it was not so likely. That is what really matters. Not some ancient, made up by man, unproved, and bigoted concept.

Does premature birth effect your zodiac sign?

You're a Libra. Doctors do not decide people's signs; nature does. Babies are almost never born on their due dates anyway.

How the month you were born in affects your life... Is it accurate for you or anyone you know?

I dunno, most of it seems bullcrap to me. Especially the bit about August born people. To be honest, I loved school and I hardly ever missed any days because I had so much fun at school, which is one of the reasons why I want to be a teacher. And people were always really nice to me (except some bitches who hated me coz I was too bubbly and optimistic). But I loved school so damn much and I really miss it! College is great too, but school was way better, in my opinion.

Astrologer says I will never become an IAS officer. Should I believe in Kismat (fate), or that my strong determination and hard work can beat it?

There was a Palmist cum astrologer whome I met when I was in my 2nd year of B.Tech on the insistence of my beloved mother (don't judge on me being a Muslim and meeting an astrologer. We live in a society that is pretty much amalgamated with no trace of communalism).I don't believe in these knucklehead fools at all but my mother was adamant on it and I couldn't refuse my mother's insistence. My mother called him home and let him examine my palm. After a minute or two in to reading, he was totally surprised as I could see from his face. He said to my mother, I have never seen such a palm in my entire career. He's born administrator and destined to get a higher post in administration. Whenever he will try, he will get success.I was laughing out loud meanwhile but unexpectedly my poor mother was on cloud nine. Mothers are amazing.Fast forward, July 2016, I started preparing for civil services exam. No, please don't confuse it with that astrologer’s prediction. It was my personal decision in my full capacity and mind. I attempted my first Prelims on 18th June 2017. Result: Failed. Again I prepared with zeal for the second attempt and took Prelims on 3rd June 2018. Result: Failed. So in a nutshell, I failed prelims for two consecutive attempts and as planned I quit CSE preparations afterwards leaving no chance of me becoming an administrator. Now, I am eagerly looking for that astrologer who gave my mother a false hope. :PSo, what should you do when an astrologer is saying that you can't become an IAS officer? Well budd, first of all don't believe in these half-wits and stop seeing them. They can speak anything to earn some dimes. Second, stop blaming and believing in Kismat or fate. Third, give it a try. If by any chance this astrologer is correct in his prediction, your hard work, determination and zeal of becoming an IAS will surely beat it.And always remember, luck favour those, who work hard. The amount of good luck coming your way depnds on your willingness to work for your dreams. ATB

Does May 21 fall under the "Taurus" or "Gemini" zodiac sign?

Well. This was a humbling learning experience for me too! Thank you for this question.I would have said Gemini…with much certainty…If I had a birth time and place I could be most definitely accurate to the very degree…. I wanted to recheck this but was in the thought that almost for certain the 21st is already Gemini time…Quora is good at making sure I check my ALMOST and SEEMS with the actual data!So I went to Horoscope and Astrology - HomepageAnd so I flew my virtual vintage-dated plane to Greenwich at midnight on the 21st of May.I like this date. A lot. In fact, the night between the 20th-21st of May is when I celebrate my own half birthday. My actual one (20 Nov.) was always wrecked by Thanksgiving and astrologically speaking, I'm a big fan of the half birthday in general. It's a low-key, lighthearted way to see how the other half lives in an opposite season.ANYWAY-The original question was about May 21, 1973 which happens to be that of my friend from high school who was born late in the day New York Time and she is a Gemini. So…there's that. I ramble.I double checked. At midnight until nearly dawn on THAT day, the Sun is actually still in Taurus. My absent-mindedness and these tangents! That's MY Gemini MOON talking.I take for granted some of the little details that are so rudimentary once I am talking on arcs and orbs and aspects or interceptions…Thank you for your question. Took a second but I had to pull my head out of the stars (and less celestial lodgings) to ground myself on the earth, the element that rules over dear Taurus the Bull, who does after all rule the first five hours and fifty eight minutes of THIS date, May 21st.Lesson learned for me as well.
