Why Are Conservatives So Stubborn About Pollution & Global Warming?
Think about it... only about 25 percent of Americans think Bush is doing a good job... only about 25 percent of Americans say they don't believe in Global Warming... only about 25 percent of Americans don't believe in Evolution... only about 25 percent of Americans believe that a clump of bloody cells is a human... if you computed a bell shaped curve of the intelligence level of Americans (or any group) the lower 25 percent of the people at the bottom of that curve would really be stupid people... only about 25 percent of Americans believe the Iraqi war is a good thing... about 25 percent of Americans are so shallow and narrow minded that they hate anyone or anything that isn't like them. I'm not going to point any fingers, but my question would have to be: IS IT THE ALL THE SAME 25 PERCENT?
Why are republicans more stubborn than democrats?
From what I've noticed, democrats tend to be more open minded, but republicans tend to stay strict to their ideas. Like sometimes, a democrat might say something stupid, but he'll later say "oops, my bad, I was wrong, I'm sorry," but when republicans say something stupid, they tend to argue it no matter what (even if they realize that they said something stupid). I don't want a heated or biased debate on politics below, because I will thumbs down your answer if it insults either party. What I do want is some psychology on the matter. So 10 points if you can unbiasedly explain why a political party would impact someone's stubborness. Also, this is an observation that I have observed that I am quite confident about. Thumbs down if you reply with a pointless lecture on how republicans are perfect (because I would obviously consider that biased).

The peaceful students/Occupy movements have been calling for a scrap and/or revision of the Aug31 Chief Executive Nomination Criteria dictated upon Hong Kong by the barbaric, corrupted and greedy Chinese Communist Party up north. Hundreds thousands poor protesters have been sleeping on the streets for weeks, eating pepper spray, tear gas and police sticks ordered by stupid puppet CY which finally led to a talk with the government administration yesterday. What puppet Carrie Lam promised though is only filing a current situation report to Beijing with no commitment to allow Hongkongers the right to pick Chief Executive candidates as promised in the Basic Law, HK's Constitution and PRC Constitution.
