How can I delete a message from the Gmail inbox of the receiver, after it has been sent?

If you want to Undo the sent mails and remove from Inbox of that person then it is possible on Gmail.Must Read: Step-by-Step Guide to Undo sent Emails with ScreenshotsI worked for Google support previously so I believe I'm qualified to answer. For regular Gmail account there is, unfortunately, no way of removing the email message short of signing into their account and removing it. If it's a Google Apps (or Gmail for Work) account on the receiving end, an admin could probably remove it, in case you happen to know them.Regular Gmail accounts don't have access to support other than Google group (forums) assigned to them. Although you could set up a free Google Apps account trial to get to support, they still won't be able to access the regular Gmail account. There is the Gmail lab previously mentioned that gives you a minute or so to stop the message from leaving after you hit send. Best of luck.It is very dangerous but it will more dangerous if that email is very confidential, even if you block those emails the mails will not be removed from their inbox. If you are going through the same condition then doesn’t panic just follow the steps which can help you to understand how to retrieve emails in Gmail if you send to a wrong person id.Step-1At first, go to the setting option and click on it which you can find the left side of your computer screen. After clicking on this here you will find another sitting option and again click on it.Step-2After click on sitting here you can see a new window will appear and there are different kinds of options. So don’t click anywhere without knowledge. After entering the new window just go to the “General” option which is showing above and then go to “Undo Send” option and click on “Enable Undo Send” mark.Step-3After giving tick mark on “Enable Undo Send” then input cancellation period in second. It is the main part of cancel a wrong message. As you can see we already input 30 seconds and you can also same like us, that’s mean you will get 30 seconds to cancel the wrong email if you send an email to the wrong email id.Source: Step-by-Step Guide to Undo sent Emails with Screenshots

How do I delete a direct message on Instagram without the sender seeing it?

In case you are speaking with someone through Instagram DM’s, there is only one way for you to delete a message you already sent without the other party seeing it.Scenario 1:Imagine that you are speaking with me through Instagram DM’s and I am online and on the chat when you send me the message. Given that I was online on the Direct Messages chat when you sent me the message, I have seen the message that you have sent. That means that if you now delete it, I will see that you deleted it, as the message will disappear from the chat.Scenario 2:Imagine that you are speaking with me through Instagram DM’s and I am online on the Instagram DM’s area (where I see everyone who sent me a message) but NOT on the Direct Message chat with you. If you send me a message while I am in that area, your message will go straight to first place of all my messages and I will most likely notice that you have sent me a message. So I will also notice if you delete the message you have sent or not, as you will disappear from being on the first spot on my Dm’s list in case you delete it.Scenario 3:If you send me a Direct Message and I am not online, unless I have my notifications ON (which I never do), I have no way to know whether you sent me a message or not, in case you deleted it after sending. If I had my notifications ON when it comes to direct messages, I would only receive a (“x” sent you a message.”) but I would never know what it was in case you deleted it before I was able to open the chat and read it.Hope this answer helped and feel free to follow me for more Social Media related answers!Wish you a fantastic day!

Why do messages on Facebook Messenger sometimes change from "seen" to "delivered"?

Paul Olaru is correct.  I am not sure what version of Messenger you're using, but "Seen" means the person opened their chat or Messenger to the conversation.  My version of Messenger doesn't have "Delivered" as a status message, but it says "sent" if the message has not yet been opened by the recipient (Apple's iMessages shows "delivered" if the message was sent but not opened, and "read" if it was opened).  In Messenger specifically a "seen" message may have a little circle with a miniature of the recipient's profile picture next to the message to indicate that she's opened it; a "sent" but not opened message has a check-mark next to it.Edit: Combined three answers on merged questions.  This question is very merge-worthy; I rarely go more than a couple days without a new A-to-A on the exact same question.  I won't be answering it in the future, nor any similar question, because there's not much to add.  Hopefully one of these answers will be helpful.Originally Answered: I sent someone a private message on Facebook, and their profile picture icon showed up, indicating that they read it. When I look at the icon next to our last two conversations, it is a white circle with a blue checkmark. Does that indicate that they marked it as unread or deleted the message? It usually means they haven't looked at the latest message in the conversation, whatever that may be.  You got the "seen" icon for any messages that were there the last time they went into the conversation, but if you have sent a new one since then they might not have "seen" it.I've seen numerous questions on Quora asking about the following: If you had a "seen" icon and it changed back to a blue circle without you sending any more messages in between? That I think must be a database glitch—I have attempted several times to recreate such a situation with my computer, phone, and a dummy FB account that I mostly use for testing, and I wasn't able to recreate a situation like that when I experimented with it just now.  I've never seen it in the "wild", either.  And as of today, 20 September 2015, FB aren't marking messages "Delivered" on the desktop chat window either.Whether the other person deletes or marks unread a conversation affects only the way it shows up on their device, not yours.

If I send a DM on instagram and unsend it after the person has seen it, would they still see it?

If they already saw the message you sent, you obviously cannot undo the fact that they saw it.If you felt weird about having sent that message, it is probably better to unsend it so that it will no longer be there when they go see their inbox. They will wonder where the message went if the message was recent and still at the top of their messages list. In that case, unsending the message is useful for making a point.I had a situation where someone I saw on a dating site did not reply back on Instagram, even though she pressed like on my profile on that site. So I just unsent the message to make a point. I will never check her out again though. Its best to dump and forget as if theyre not even a human being, since they did also treated you like a nobody by ignoring you. Lol.

How can I know if someone blocked me on messenger without seding them message?

This is a great question - I hope I can clear things up for you there. There are two ways you can be blocked on Facebook Messanger. This is the wiki here. The person can choose to stop receiving messages from you over MessengerThe person can block you on Facebook which will then stop you from sending Messages on MessengerIf you can see the person’s name and previous messages along with their profile, and you may also still be friends with them - and you try to send them a message and it comes up with the error (see below image):This means that they have chosen to block your messages. However, of they aren't searchable on Messenger and Facebook, and they don't have a picture or name on Messenger (just Facebook User), then it’s likely that you have been blocked over the entire of Facebook.I hope this helps you, feel free to get in touch if there is anything else I can help you with.Source: How to Know if Blocked on Facebook?
