Since wireless networks do not have "standby" dial tones that we can hear, as landlines do, you need a way to enter the *67 (caller ID block), wait for the ready, then continue with the destination number. If you do use this feature from a wireless phone, look in the owner's manual for the "pause" feature (also called "soft pause", which could just be an asterik or pound key). So you'll have to dial in the combination *67 PAUSE (555) 555-5555 to make it work. Try calling your home number first, as a test. What is the difference between a restricted call & a unavailable number? Should I report this also?
My boyfriends step mother harassed/stalk us from Sept of last year to now. She called us both about 100 times (total together) on restricted. To make the long story short (there were other forms of harassment) I recently got a unavailable call. There was no number to trace the call back. I only have the date & the time of the call. Is there a difference between restricted & unavailable? I know the code for calling restricted is *67 then the number, is there one for unavailable? & should I report this to the cops too? I have been speaking to a cop through email & he ask me to get all my info together & any evidence I may have then bring it in. I have ask him about obtaining our phone records. Should I include this latest incident?
