Why is my Roku light blinking?

The front and only light on my Roku is blinking rapidly. I cant get any sort of picture. I use HDMI connection. I tried turning power of and on but still nothing. Any ideas?

Why does my tv keep acting strange?

my philips flatscreen tv is a nice one,and ive had it for years but never encountered a problem like this. we just moved to hawaii about 11 months ago and never had this problem untill last night. there is a little white light next to the recever of the t.v. (the actual telivison itself we have a roku box) that only blinks when the it is turned on or off with the button on the side or has a command sent to it by the remote (the battiries are gone from the remote) but it has been blinking continuiosly all night and day and now night again. also the tv turns its self on after,i think 3 to 5 mins of being turned off and its starting to creep me out a bit,anyone know whats happening?
