Can You Tube damage your computer?
My computer had trouble starting and my dad said it was because watching videos on websites like You Tube damaged my computer. But I don't know if that's really true or not because everybody uses You Tube!
Why is youtube website not open ?
I have this problem too not just with youtube but with other sites that view videos na d internet recently has gotten slow. My dad called our internet company and they said that something is wrong with cables in the ocean that are used for internet so things have been not working properly in some european countries and the middle east and this problm should be fixed in a couple of weeks

ignore the other person that answered,the bandwidth will slow down other downloads that are happening as you are on the website,but will not slow down your computer. as for youtube and things like that,no they should not slow down the computer,the most common cause of computer slow downs are viruses,try scanning the computer with avg virus scanner free edition,and spyware free edition,you can download them at free.grisoft.com oh,and the viruses usually aren't from youtube or things like that,they're usually from porn sites. does your dad use that computer at night? lol! if that's the case,you might want to wash your hands when you are done with the computer,or it might be you,I have no way of knowing.
Why do computers slow down?
There are tons of things that can make your computer slow down. If you have a lot of data stored and your available storage is minimal this can make it slow down. You can clear space by running a degrag on your hard drive, but defragging won't clear up a ton of space. The best thing to do is to back up video and music files to CD's or DVD's and that will help with the hard drive space issue.
Does Net Nanny slow down the computer?
Hello, recently my dad got Net Nanny so that if I am not doing schoolwork and stuff, he can lock down things I go to, and to go ahead and keep me from going to bad places with that. But, ever since we installed it, everything has been /super/ slow. I've gotten to webpages that won't even load anymore, my computer freezes a lot now, and I don't know what is causing it. I can't really even run Skype anymore because it freezes up too much now. So I'm just curious... Could this be the cause? I had literally no issues like this before we got it, which leads me to believe it is the cause. But what could it do that would make everything this slow? I'd appreciate it a ton if anyone could shed some light on the situation, thanks in advance!
My Dad is addicted to the computer! Help?
So, my dad basically love his computer more than me and my sister well... that's what it seems like. He treats the computer room as his room so i cant charge my ipod in there or take my phone in their or he throws them in the bin, he does it to my sis as well. He also plays this online game called Halo (killing game) and he is in a clan and talks to people over a mic thingy. The other day my sister had a go at the game and was in it first then my dad came onto the same game server and told her to get off it because it was making his game slow! And being a 16 Year old she didn't lol so he threatened to throw her passport out which was for her Indonesia trip with the school next year. Over the Holiday Break we got capped (No more internet left) and he blamed me and my sis because we watch the odd YouTube video when he stays up late talking to his nerd friends so he blamed us and banned our profile things on the computer so we cant go on it in the holidays. He wants it all to himself My mum also goes along with everything he says so if he says we cant go on the computer, mum backs him up because she doesn't want to cause conflict. He also lies about the computer stuff he buys like headsets he said it was $20 when it was $90!!! He spends all the time on the computer and never with his family! Its like he gets jealous we play on the computer, like its his wife! Anyway we can confront him about it, he also has a very bad temper and mum says he just wants to relax after he gets home from work. There you go sticking up for him again. Any Ideas how to fix this?

Why does a computer slow down during live streaming?
This might not be the most precise answer but I can explain the basics of it. Basically what happens is that the video feed (the game on your screen) needs to be transcoded on-the-fly to be streamed in a different format or just compressed. This uses a lot of your CPU cycles and that's why a computer usually slows down and the footage is a little less sharp than a screen-recorded gameplay which is not streamed. I'm buying a new computer. Should I go with 4GB RAM or 8GB RAM?
TLDR:4GB is all you need as long as you are not a multi-tasker.8GB is ideal for normal multi-tasking and gaming12GB is for heavy multi-tasking.16GB or more is for heavy gaming or professional software that needs a lot of RAM like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.My dad has a 4GB laptop with Windows 10. He only uses Microsoft Word, e-mail on Chrome and stuff like Power Point (he is a lawyer and a teacher). As long as he is not using many apps at a time, he is just fine. However, if you start using a lot of Chrome tabs and many programs at the same time, memory starts to pile up and the laptop starts slowing down.If you have the money, get 8GB and (talking about storage) an SSD. Avoid Hard Drive Disks for Windows 10, you’ll be better with an SSD, way better.In my opinion, no average user or gamer should need more than 8GB of RAM, and no professional should use less than 16GB.
