Why Is Obama Having Trouble Talking Peace With Putin

If the world has great leaders like Obama, Putin and Modi, why do we have so much tension between these countries?

That's a good question. Let me share my views on this.Great Leaders are not declared they are just hyped now a days. Great leaders are born and are not made. But media now a days make great leaders by taking money. If there is peace and harmony in the world then it is not the case that leaders of the nations are great. It's the people in the nation are great. Leader can't just hypnotize the entire population and make them good and we are talking about democracy. So, A Leader can just represent and take action on behalf of the team or society and shape it up accordingly. Different nations may shape differently which might just not look good effecting other nations causing these issues. There is much more to talk about this but I would like to have a dialogue on this as my views always go according to me and knowledge I have ;)Best,Vinay

Who do you think is more charismatic and more influential: Obama or Putin?

Obama and Putin differ a lot in personality and influence.Obama is a skilled orator with a charismatic presence and humor, someone who knows what to tell a group of people to make them like him. Yet, it's only oratory skill, not actual governmental skill, i.e. he can make people like him (or the US), but he doesn't know how to do anything else. Obama is a very weak President, always was, and he has a bunch of people around him, who run his entire administration with him left on the sidelines. He is very much like George W. Bush in this regard, a mere figurehead, not a decision maker, which is why the Obama administration continues the very same policies as the Bush-Cheney administration. As a result, many critical political experts have called Obama a "smily sticker" put on Bush-Cheney policy.Putin shares the trait of humor with Obama, and he knows how to present himself to his own people in Russia, but that's about it. Putin is not an orator, not someone who learned how to smooth talk or give nice speeches, but he is an incredibly sharp thinker and great strategist. He worked himself up through the executive branch and he knows very well how to run a government. Putin therefore is very influential within his own government and abroad, he makes decisions and leads people.Maybe it can be summed up in the sentence „Obama is a politician, Putin is a leader.“, meaning Obama never learned how to run anything – he learned at college and then entered the "talky profession" (politican) – while Putin worked as intelligence officer and mayor, learning how to actually run things. As for their speeches: Obama's speeches sound great, but are hollow and void in meaning. Putin talks a lot less, but when he says something, it's important and you'd better listen.Nobody in the entire world doubts that power in Russia resides within the Kremlin, and that the Russian financial elite (oligarchs) are sidelined – which is Putin's work. Similarly, people inside and outside the US know, that power in the US lies with the financial elite (Wall Street, George Soros, the Koch brothers, lobbyists, …) and that the Congress and White House are merely rubber-stamps and proxys – something Obama never changed (or even tried to change).

Why has Trump been so successful at getting peace talks with North Korea, more than any other president?

No other American president was mentally ill enough to give a tinpot megalomaniac despot like Kim recognition on the world stage.

Is Obama trying to stir up trouble with Russia before trump takes office?

Since we don’t know whats in the intelligence briefings, it’s hard for us citizens to know anything for certain. To be safe, I’ll suggest thinking its somewhere in the middle. I think a fair assessment is that Russia did hack into the DNC and RNC, etc but they didn’t really accomplish all that much (as far as changing the election results goes). Now, let’s remember the Administration, Republicans included, have known about this breech for months. So why is Obama making this a big deal now? Perhaps that reason is the Rex Tillerson Secretary of State pick. It sounds like Trump and Tillerson want to negotiate some deals with Putin (for oil, etc). Is that a bad thing? Far be it from me to know for sure. Heck, we still need oil and we will for the foreseeable future, why not make some deals and get some Russian oil?I don’t typically study US/Russian foreign affairs so someone smarter than me is going to have to enlighten all of us why - now, having good relations with Russia is a bad thing. I’m open to no-spin truth if its available.

Why do people still hate Obama?

Because people are idiots

Who is more intelligent, Obama or Putin?

Dear ReadersYour original question is who is more intelligent Obama or Putin?Putin and Obama are both intelligent and strong people in their world.Putin is an INTJ ( 2% of world population) and Obama is a ENFJ ( deep caring and charismatic)Obama’s IQ has been debatable between 102 and 130 but Putin is a solid 130.Putin being ex KGB ( FSB) has been through extensive intelligence training and has more experience keeping his sleeves up and getting on the ground not fearing his feet getting soiled.Putin is a war hawk and strategist. Obama on the other side is very good with communication and is a peace-maker. Obama believes in justice, not war.I promise you Putin would be a pace-maker giving you a heart attack. He is not a common man, which Obama always claims he is humble and deeply caring.ConclusionMy Overall assessment is Putin is more worldly and smarter while Obama is less worldly and wise.No doubt Putin is much more intelligent & stronger to handle foreign affairs than Obama.Obama lacks ground and warfare training. Putin is also a 8th degree black belt and nominated world’s most powerful men 3 years in a row by Forbes 2012–15.Finally both have their own unique ways of handing their country successfully.

Why does Putin hate Hillary Clinton and President Obama?

Because they want him to run his country their way! They have no clue as to how to negotiate anything! Trump does! He may not be the best but he's better than those two!

Do you think the meeting between Trump and Putin is appropriate given the DOJ’s recent findings concerning Russian meddling?

In 2010 US discovered a large spy ring operating in US and expelled abou a dozen Russian spies. These people came back to Russia and became national heros.Somehow it did not just stop Obama from talking to Putin. He actually was quite friendly with Putin. Much friendlier than Trump. Remember Obama promising Medvedev to he more flexible on missile defense systems in Poland? Obama was willing to sacrifice an ally to please Putin. Remember Obama running to Putin for help on Syrian chemical weapons? Remember Obama mocking Romney on his stance on Russia?Yes. It is perfectly fine for leaders of two nuclear superpowers to meet and talk. It is better than non talking. We spy on them and they spy on us. That happens all the time. And even though Russia and US are not enemies this quote from Peter Baelish seems appropriate.“We only make peace with our enemies. That is why it's called making peace"
