Why can't Republicans understand that Obama did what he did for the good of the nation?
And now that Trump holds office, democrats bash the president non-stop, 24/7 for everything he says or does, just like the republicans did when Obama held office. “But have you SEEN Trump? That guy isn’t even legitimate!” - probably what you’re thinking to as a response to my statement.Republicans and democrats have different values, their brains work differently.The liberal values a sense of inclusive community, social safety and justice, social freedoms and social exploration.The conservative values order, community strength, loyalty, tradition, individuality.You can see that doing things for one counters the other. Exploring new social boundaries disrupts tradition. Centralizing healthcare in the government, raising taxes disrupts individuality (the separation of a citizen from the government as much as possible).Now Mr. Trump is causing many heart attacks because he’s the first that doesn’t seem to care for his popularity and powers through policy that favors conservative values regarding the military, taxes, healthcare, immigration, foreign affairs…etc.In other words, what you think makes America great isn’t what a republican feels makes America great. This is why what a democrat would feel is good for the nation is what a republican thinks is bad, vise versa. What you think was good for the nation was bad for the nation according to everyone who votes red.
Why does Trump wear such poorly fitting suits? Who was Obama’s tailor?
Let’s answer the question and not create a political firestorm over a suit. President Trump has and does wear Brioni for many years. Brioni is known as probably the greatest and one of the most continually expensive suits made in Italy, specifically in Rome. The original name of Brioni was “Brioni Roman Style” back in the 1970s when my grandfather sold the brand in his men’s clothing stores in New York City. With that said, Brioni was the tailor of choice for James Bond films for years. It still and was always known as a $5,000 suit, off the rack, although they can start as low as $3,850. This all depends on fabric. The make of each Brioni is the same, by hand or handmade. Trump is a big man, he must be wearing a 60L Italian size, most likely from what I see on TV. In regards to the fitting of his suits: 60L is a big size. It equates to a 50L US size so the waist on the pants could be a 44–46 waist. He always wears his jacket open creating a larger appearance. Even though fashion at the moment in menswear is all about slim and trim, that does not suit every body shape. Men in the age bracket of President Trump want to be comfortable in a suit all day. They don’t want a tight fit and I would think most Brioni clients that can pay $5,000 or more for a suit are older guys who don’t really care about the fashion of the moment, but want to be tailored and well-fitted, but do not want to look as if they squeezed themselves in someone else’s suit. Could his suits fit a bit better, possibly. Is he wearing a very well-made suit by any standards, absolutely.In regards to Obama: As far as I know he wears Canali and Hickey Freeman. Canali is probably the best fitting men’s suit in the suit market in it’s price range and many brands try to strive for their fit. Canali suits usually start about $1895 so much lower cost than Brioni, but it is not all sewn by hand, but hand finished. Hickey Freeman is known one of the best American made suits along with Oxford. I have only read that Obama enjoys these brands.

Obama has retirement funds in the Cayman islands also, just google it, the story is 3 months old; not that anyone would know due to the Obama media not cevering it. Obamas net worth is 11 million. He made his money writing books. Romney made his money improving the economy and adding jobs by saving companies like Staples and many more. Because of him, those companies were restructured and now employee thousands instead of none. So when I hear people talking in hushed tones about how Romney is a millionare, I want to yell at them for being so ignorant of the true state of things. FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS LOOKING LIKE OBAMA WILL WIN RE-ELECTION BUT LOSE THE POPULAR VOTE. The facts are screaming in our faces that Romney is the guy with the plan. WAKE UP AMERICA!
How did President Obama fail to please Rust Belt voters that they ended up voting for Donald Trump? Why didn't he do anything to revive the dying economy? Will Trump end up neglecting it? What could Obama have done better to help the Rust Belt?
Firstly because of an arrogance of the Democrats. Obama - just like the entire Democratic and even Republican Party - took for granted that the Rust Belt would vote the Democrats and it never even crossed their minds that it could change.I’ve read about a town in Rust Belt that no member of the USA’s government visited since JFK himself. The people were writing to Obama, Clinton and others to come and to listen to them; no one did. Except Trump. I personally dislike most of Trump’s ideas and policies but I must admit that the style in which Trump was doing his presidential campaign was pure genius.Secondly because of an arrogance of the modern liberals who ignore the poor white people. I’m an European, a modern liberal from the American POV and if I had to chose out of the US presidential candidates I would probably vote for Sanders. However I’m not blind to the faults of the modern liberals. The Socialists and Green parties in Europe and liberals in the USA passionately defend various sexual, racial and religious minorities against real or possible oppression. However they totally ignore the poor white people because they simply classify them as “privileged heterosexual whites” who don’t need protecting. And this is quite ironic if you think about it since it were these people who previously voted for socialists in the first place.The newspapers and TV are filled with ideas about unisex toilets, accepting immigrants from the 3rd world or how to help the poor in Africa. But when was the last time that liberals would talk about or try to help the poor white people from the formerly industrial parts of the country like e.g. the Rust Belt?And if these people had some reservations about the liberal policies they were regarded as stupid ignorant racist “band of deplorables” who don’t understand how the modern world works.These relatively poor white people from regions and smaller cities are the forgotten ones and they are those who voted for Brexit, Donald Trump and that will continue to put the right wing populists to power until the mainstream politicians would begin to take care of their problems.Conclusion: Obama ignored the Rust Belt because he is a Democrat who took the Rust Belt votes/voters for granted and because he is a modern liberal who doesn’t care for poor whites.
