Why Is One Piece Art There So Good

Why is one piece so boring!?

I'm on episode 71 of one piece and I can't help comparing it to other anime. In other anime, (naruto fairy tail, heck even bleach) there's an interesting start to the episode, something that pulls you into it. In one piece, there's some utter bullcrap that they think is exciting, such as this episodes start "The giants Dory and Broggy". The names are cliche, the plot is boring, the art is weird, yet people have the gull to say it's better then naruto? Or even Fairy Tail? One piece is complete garbage to me. Some bits were interesting (Arlong was the best, this arc is alright but it seems like all this stuff is filler when it's canon) but it's overall rubbish. If you think it's good, what episode should I start watching? Are the current episodes filler? Why is it worth watching, what's a good arc I should watch?

What is so special about One Piece?

Things like great characters, their development, plot twists and so on are not unique to One Piece. There are a lot other anime that have the same qualities with a better presentation, but the one thing that is unique to One Piece is its story line. Sure it’s mind-numbingly boring in the beginning but that’s what provides the much needed contrast for a story to improve as it progresses, especially when it’s as big as One Piece. Now let me explain what is so great about its plot. *Spoilers ahead*The ENDING. That’s right, the ending. Oda Sensei himself told that even before he started drawing the first chapter he had the ending in his mind. Well, not the ending exactly but the events leading to the end i.e, The final arc. He said that the final arc is going to be so awesome that the Marineford War doesn’t even begin to compare with it. That excites me so much so that I’m willing to wait for another 10 years for it to complete. But it probably won’t take that long since the story is already about 70% to completed.Just watch this interview[1] of Oda Sensei.FORESHADOWING(the indication of a future event). Oda Sensei is unparalleled at foreshadowing things. He shows one of the rarest powers, Haoshoku haki (Conqueror’s haki) in the first chapter of the manga, which is seen again in many other instances only much later.During the Lougue Town arc, when Sanji enters the cooking competition, Usopp funnily refers to Sanji as ‘‘Ichi… Niji… Sanji’’. Most people brushed it off it as a pun that time since ichi means 1, ni means 2 and san means 3 and rei means zero. But the recent chapters revealed that sanji has 3 brothers and a sister. Care to guess their names? Yep. Riegi(sister), Ichiji, Niji, Sanji and Yonji. Ever so slightly indicating Sanji might not be an only child. These are just two examples of many and these things are so carefully woven into and completely camouflaged in the story that when I finally got the references, it blew my mind.So there you have it. If you plan on reading or watching One Piece, prepare for a mind blowing, tear jerking ride nevertheless filled with lots of humor. Have fun.Footnotes[1] Eiichiro Oda Interview 2016 Full: One Piece Film Gold (Eng Sub)

Why do most of the people dislike One Piece ?

So, must of you say that Naruto and Bleach is better.

Please please please refrain from saying so. How can it be?

Naruto's plot is damn stupid and its a huge serious on finding a particular character, and nothing is happening.

Bleach is second best, but please.

In Japan, One Piece is considered the most popular manga and anime ever. Millions of copies of the manga are sold in a week, while the other two have millions sold in a month.

I know its a different country, but come on.

If you don't like the artwork, you're rudely saying that to all of the shonen works.

Immaturish? Aren't Bleach and Naruto the same? Look in between the lines. Look past the art work.

One Piece: Are the Marines evil?

Yes the organization as a WHOLE is evil as it's apart of the World Government.

Not EVERY Marine is evil, some are good, and nearly ALL of them join the Marines for good intentions (like Coby), but after a while nearly all of them are corrupted or forced to do things you or I would see as wrong.

The Marines are not above genocide/infanticide either.. I wont spoil but as you get further into One Piece you will learn the 'World Government' is the true evil and the Marines is its weapon.

If you are on episode 220 then I think that it's Water 7 and you will begin to understand Robin and how f*cked up the Marines are.

Edit:
It's funny to see I got a thumbs down even though nothing in my post is wrong - I can't go into detail because I don't want to spoil but after you watch the Water 7 Arc you will understand. Since what happens in Water 7 isn't like 'unusual' - it's standard procedure.

Basically the Marines protect the World Governments interests, and the World Government in One Piece is evil, therefore the Marines are evil.

Is mihawk in the anime "one piece" a good guy or bad guy? im confused?

Definitely a good guy cos he's a friend of red-haired Shanks!

What is the best episode to start watching One Piece from?

Anyone who tells you you won't enjoy this series is just spewing nonsense. People tend to hate what's popular :p

Anyway to answer your question:
It really depends on what you look for in a series. The beginning of the OP anime has pretty crappy animation, since it's fairly old, as opposed to the newer animation around episode 200 or so. Therefore if it's good animation you're after you should probably skip over the first 100 or so episodes right into the Crocodile arc.

If you're after a good plot with interesting story I suggest watching from the beginning. A lot of the characters that are introduced in the first 20-30 episodes are long lasting characters or characters who majorly effect the story later on in the series.. If you choose to skip the first episodes you're gonna run into a lot of "Who the hell is that guy?" moments.

Trust me when I say the first few episodes aren't the greatest episodes of a series in anime history but I promise the story get so much better as you continue on.
