Why Is So Important To Be Social

Why is social class so important?

more often than most its seen as a negative social connotation because of its inequality (usually in the monopoly of resources and production). Society will always be made up of a ruling class and the rest of the population. Increasingly with industrialisation, it has seen the emergence of the middle class (or its early form the merchant class) which kind of provides a bridge towards social mobility. Capitalism with an emphasis on money making and education becomes the means of improving your chances of making a better life and greater social mobility. It kind of makes things better for people in that it gives them a greater range of options to pursue. In other ways it limits the chances of moving upwards because it is discriminatory. Those at the top don't want to share power with everyone else... and diffeing social classes reinforces and restricts its own peculiar habits to prevent 'its own kind' from making a better life, like the saying: "working-class and bloody proud of it". The ruling class not only control the means of production but also influence social behaviour, keeping the status quo the same in one respects and also allowing social mobility.

Why is social status so important?

Social status is only important if you are a person who looks to the world for love and acceptance. These people need to feel powerful, because without it they are depressed and feel like they will be oppressed by others if they don't gain social status. Everyone is afraid of being stepped on--crushed! Nobody likes the feeling of being at the will of someone else, but if they gain social status they will feel free and powerful. They will feel invincible, but this feeling is only temporary because once you develop the need for attaining social status just to be revered as an important person, you become a slave to it automatically. The oppression that you feel when you believe you have a low social status can be real in some occasions, but overall it's all just an illusion. The real prison is in your mind. Evaluate your values and social status won't be important at all. There's nothing wrong with wanting good things for yourself, but when you only want good things so the world can love you, then that's when it turns into a form of slavery. If you become at peace with yourself and truly begin to not care what other people think, then social status won't be important at all. Your eyes will be open and you will see the world from a totally different perspective. You might be shocked at what you discover about the world and its values when you get to that point, and then you'll go on to find the real true meaning of life.

Why are norms so important to social life?

Without social norms, there would be anarchy, no need for government or police officials; people could just do whatever they want without any consequences. Norms are absolutely essential in a stable society to make sure that everyone in it is kept safe. People who don't adhere to social norms are called "deviants" (in sociology). Norms are in place, if anything, to keep social control.

There are many types of norms in a society that don't necessarily reflect society, but also as individuals. Certain etiquette, mannerisms, and behavioral norms have a great impact on our personal social life as well. Society teaches us as a group how we should behave, and then individuals will teach us what behavior they expect from us in return. Knowing what is socially acceptable will give someone a much better chance at flourishing socially.

Why is social studies so important!?

Social studies can be boring depending on how it's taught. You should probably see about pursuing the subject using course materials that are more engaging or more in line with your learning style. Social studies is very important but it's not a cut and dry subject, which is the main reason that it's not taught properly in schools. Some teachers, schools, and lesson programs have trouble grasping and presenting the subject in a cohesive manner. What social studies as a class does is it teaches students how to properly understand society and why things happen, not just what happens. This helps students to better understand history and it helps them to better understand politics and current events. It gives students the tools necessary to navigate their world and grasp social issues at hand. What people say and do in the news is meaningless unless you can understand the why. We would all find it impossible to confront the problems that face our nation if we are unable to discern and understand what caused them and if we were unable to understand what actions would solve them. Social studies teaches the skills needed to understand society as we know it, if it's being taught correctly that is.

How important is social life?

Absolutely not. What’s the point of having a social life anyway? It’s an utter waste of time, and it’s a futile experience with zero advantages in your life, plus you only end up surrounding yourself with fake, insidious people who only pretend to like you for their own self benefit. If you have money, you’ll have flocks of “friends” surrounding you, but when you’re broke, where are those so called “friends” of yours now? Same thing with favors, if you need help with a struggle in life, where are your so called “friends” when you need them?Having a social life and connecting with other is absolutely pointless… It’s better to be on your own for your whole life and not depend on nobody, period!

Why is social justice important?

Social justice is important for the welfare of society as a whole. Having social justice and responsibility leads to satisfaction and pleasure of life, as well as the respect and loyalty to the leaders. People who are treated unjustly eventually rebel and make the abuser pay dearly. This is also known as revolution, assassinations, etc. There is always a price to pay for social injustice and usually the longer it takes, the more this feeling endures, the worse and more desperate it gets. Eventually it descends into hatred against the ones who are perceived as having created the injustice, once you get down that path there is no turning back. Hatred doesn't know fear, compassion, good measure or any other temperance. Its only purpose is to destroy its objective even by the destruction of its enforcer. Machiavelli warned all leaders and princes to be extremely weary of hate. As a leader its ideal to be feared and respected but never hated, because someone who hates will destroy the prince even if it means his / her own death. And this cannot be stopped. Not by 100 guards or 1000 guards or anything else. When you have someone willing to give their life to hurt you, they will accomplish it. There are many examples of social injustice reaching very brutal, bloody and often terminal outcome for the one facilitating the injustice. French revolution of 1789, the October revolution of 1917, Revolution of Mao in China as well as hundreds more in history. Many of which resulted in the extermination of the leadership and their entire bloodline even as the mob faced firing lines with their bare chests. So to answer your question, social justice is important for the stability of a prosperous society.
