I think the composite of the other three answers I see pretty much covers the field: she was totally taken by surprise, she was too emotionally distraught to put together a good presence, and she wanted to say the right things when she spoke, so she and her speechwriters had to do some revamping.I think it must’ve been awfully difficult for her to make the very generous speech that she made without any sniping at Trump, calling for all Americans to support their new president, and admitting that she was bitterly disappointed. And to do that without having her tone, attitude, facial expressions, even the set of her shoulders, not betray her may have been more than she could have managed last night.It’s also possible that there was some strategizing to decide whether to call for recounts or court battles, given that she did win the national vote.

Why do my fish hide when I turn on the light?
Every single time I turn on the flourescent lightbulb my fish hide under the pump! It's crazy. Am I stressing them out? I always just turn it off immediately because I'm afraid of hurting their eyes or something. If I left it on do you think they'd come out of hiding? Is it bad for them to hide under the pump? Driving through bad neighborhoods at night?
I'm from an upper middle class neighborhood. It's a lot safer here than it is in North Philly. I'm going to college in North Philly soon and my friends are all freaking out about me going there. I think it's perfectly safe during the day, right? And I also have on-campus parking, so the only time I'll ever be out at night is in my car. They say even that's dangerous... Is this true? I feel like being in a bad neighborhood at night is perfectly safe if you're in the safety of your own car. I have an SOS system in the car to back me up too and runflat tires that let me drive up to 50 mph even with no air. I think they're over exaggerating but I just want to be sure?? I'm obviously still going to carry pepper spray around with me, but I don't think it's as bad as people claim
