Anybody having problems logging into messenger?if so wtf is the deal today with it?
yahoo is having issues, its on and off just try checking back later, it should be fine in a couple of hours,. or even minutes maybe this has happened before...............
My yahoo messenger keeps signing in and out and i can't chat with it doing that?
YAHOO MESSENGER CRASHES ALL THE TIME OK a couple suggestions. Are you using the Windows Blinds program? This is a Windows OS skinning program, and there is a conflict between it and yahoo messenger? You can read more about the Windows Blinds issue here and also try a couple solutions to solve this problem http://www.wackyb.co.nz/Yahoo!_Messenger... . Next, make sure that you download and install latest update to Adobe Flash player, http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplaye... . Exit yahoo messenger first by right clicking icon by clock and choosing exit. Next thing to try is to change your connection settings. Go to top of YM and click on Messenger and then Preferences. Go to the Connections page and try these options, no proxies or no network detection (try one than the other). Click OK after choosing one. Yahoo Messenger will need to close to change the settings. You can also clear out your yahoo cache. My Computer/C:Drive/Program Files/Yahoo/Messenger/Cache. You can delete everything in the cache folder. Again exit yahoo messenger first. Please note that a newer building of 8.1 has been released in last few weeks. If nothing else works, might be worthwhile to update. I also have found that I have more problems with YM crashing if I am running Visible instead of signing in as always Invisible. Is there any good substitute for Yahoo Messenger chat room available today (2014)?
No there is not.Yahoo basically had everyone on the net that wasn’t on AOL. These days, many of the people in chat are mostly people that are older or disabled and must socialize on the net to some extent. In the days of Yahoo, there were people just sitting there that wanted to chat forever, AND there were people who wanted to meet up. You could date, meet musicians, meet people interested in the same thing. It was phenomenal.So, of course, someone had to kill it dead, and create this god awful environment of personals online (which already existed at the time as well). Online personals are filled with fake profiles, bots, people that just use it for ego massage and backup when they are in relationships. It’s just a pile of junk , and mostly its too much work. Even Tinder is a lot of work, at least for guys. For girls, it must be the greatest thing since sliced bread, although I think women are more inclined to chat with a guy, not email back and forth, which is inefficient boring and slow.Chat rooms were actually fun, and you could still get all the apperance info and exchange pictures. Half of Tinder is women pushing their instagram accounts so they can become online models, the big hope for every women who’s even moderately attractive.The internet got MUCH worse in this regard, dumping local chat rooms for the app model.
Yahoo Messenger using excessive Memory and CPU usage?
Yahoo messenger for some reason uses 95+% of CPU usage and up to and over 400MB/RAM, but averages around 100MB. It makes my computer excessively slow and I have trouble doing anything while YIM is running, is there any way to fix this? I have nothing running that would slow down the computer, and am 100% sure that this is a YIM issue.
Why do i keep getting kicked off yahoo messenger????
It doesn't happen to all of us .. lol .. but not just you, apparently That doesn't happen to my yahoo, but it happens to my internet explorer and when I send the error report to Microsoft I'm told that it's a problem with a toolbar most likely. I used to have the Yahoo!toolbar and I just don't like it so I don't use it and I suspect that's your problem too. try disabling the yahoo!toolbar and see if your troubles switch from that to your browser .. and if so, then decide which you mind problems with the least. I can't explain it, but it seems everyone prefers you use what they want you to and unless you do there will be problems popping up because they're not all made to be compatible with each other.

i always use my YM everyday but one day when i tried to double click the YM icon(as usual)it wont appear at all??.. even after i waited for a long time and when i tried to repair it in the "UNWISE" application in YM folder it can't be fixed.WORSE,, it cant be uninstalled!! so i had to uninstall it with an uninstaller and i completely removed every single registry thats related to YM and every files and folders too. I just do everything as usual... not much changed but i did installe 2 new programs.. Speed Connect + SpeedBit Video Accelerator could this be a crash? or something else ?? HELP !! I DON'T WANT TO USE THE WEB BASED YM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE
