Why Donald Trump is winning the Republican nomination now?
It's a combination of two factors: 1) Everybody underestimated him 2) His enormous appeal to the Republican BASE (not the Tea Party crazies)1. UnderestimationWhen he first came into the race people just thought of him as a circus show. They thought he was just a buffoon out to get more ratings for his TV show (which was the initial plan actually: How Trump did it). They didn't take him seriously as a candidate. The GOP establishment and others thought they'd see this act before with candidates like Michelle Bachmann and this sudden Trump fever at the start of the election would run it's course. They were wrong, and they are going to pay for it because Donald Trump has so much momentum right now that I doubt Rubio, Cruz, or Kasich are going to catch up. According to the Rolling Stone, every Republican who has won the New Hamphire and South Carolina primaries has gone on the win the nomination. If the GOP had the wisdom to rally behind a single candidate early, they may have been able to beat Trump. They let months go by where Trump was the only candidate getting major media attention, and with most Republicans (well most Americans really) being low-information voters, what they hell did they think would happen?2. Appeal Donald Trump is winning because he has his finger squarely on the pulse of what the MODERATE Republican base wants. See a lot of people, particularly my more naive liberal friends, think Trump is appealing to the super-conservative religious nuts in the Republican party. They are dead wrong. For America's religious extremists, Ted Cruz is the candidate of choice. Trump's base are actually the moderate, working class Republicans. They're the type of guys (and gals) who would typically vote for Jeb Bush. They think Trump is their politically incorrect messiah, here to free them from the endless torrent of cookie-cutter politicians they've had to deal with since Reagan. His tasteless remarks, his boorish attitude, his ridiculous "build a wall and make Mexico pay for it" promises, everything liberals like me hate about him, THEY LOVE IT. It's a real Bandwagon effect, once you get on the Trump train, there is no getting off.
Need a meaningful name for my gelding.?
I am buying a 4 yr old AQHA gelding in a few days. He is brown (but has beautiful dapples in the summer) and is a very quiet, sweet and gentle horse yet he is also built solid like a tank with a large chest and hip. He is also a fairly fast runner with a SI of 81. They tried to make him a pony horse at the track after he was lightly raced and he didn't like being snubbed up to those mean track horses. LOL He was born 5/14/04 making him a Taurus (which fits his personality very well, I think). His registered name is Give It To Me and he has a no holes pedigree with First Down Dash, Dash For Cash, Easy Jet, Rocket Wrangler and Sky Run to name a few. I am just wanting a meaningful name that would fit his personality/character. I originally thought of Hershey because of his color but I would like more suggestions. It is just so funny to me how he can be such a powerfully strong and fast horse yet be so quiet and sweet too. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!!

Why do people think that Jordan is Palestine? Jordan was never part of Palestine. It was TransJordan which was located on the East of the Dead Sea. It became part of the Mandate of Palestine when the British divided up the Middle East after the Allies defeated the Ottoman Empire. Palestine was its own separate area. The only reason way some Palestinians live in Jordan is cause they fled Palestine when war began. Then Jordan gained the West Bank after the first war. They then lost it in the six Day War. Israel still occupies this and the Gaza Strip to this day. This makes no sense why people say Jordan is Palestine or Palestine is Jordan. Also I am wondering is it possible for Israel to go back to the original plans for Palestine? Or is it illegal under International law? Also why does Israel clam to want peace with the Palestinians? They keep building settlements in the West Bank and the Golan Heights Doing this is illegal under International Law. Just yesterday Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu order the construction of over 1,200 homes in EAST JERUSALEM. East Jerusalem is going to be the future Capital of the Sate of Palestine. It looks like they have no desire to allow a Palestine. If they did want peace they would not be doing things like this to presser the Palestinians. I am not in favor of Hamas at all. Hamas should have not split from the West Bank. They should Unite for the Voting to see if Palestine be comes a Non Member State in the UN. Also why did Obama clam he wants a interdependent Palestine then go veto their bid to become a State. This makes not sense to me. Israel did the same thing to become a state so why did Obama veto? To me no mature what belief you have Israel is for the descendants of Abraham, be Arab or an Israelite. P.S I am not a Muslim or Christian I am Agnostic.
