Why Is The Most Populated Democrat State Boycotting 0bama Care

Can a president call for a boycott of a business?

If I understand tour question, you seem to be asking if the President of the United States is protected by the 1st Amendment. Is that right, or did I miss something? If our President has the same Constitutional protections as the rest of us, then they are perfectly free to shout from the rooftops, words to the effect of, “Don't Shop At WallyWorld!”. Like any other citizen shouting for a boycott, you are perfectly free to respond with words to the effect of, “Pound Sand! I Shop Where I Want!”.Just my $0.02

Why doesn't the world sanction the United States under Trump’s regime and get rid of it until a more environmental caring president takes over?

It has been proven without a shadow of a doubt that ‘manmade’ climate change is a total fallacy. Sites such as Climate Depot have thousands and thousands of signatures from scientists that oppose the views propagated by the paid scientists of the govt sponsored institutions. Academic professionals such as Prof. Ray Bates show the flawed calculations of those paid scientists. The exposure of ‘climategate’ further shows the latitude of the conspiracy involved. The last period that was similar in the recorded history of ‘world weather’ was during the viking travels to North America, were they the cause of that? The involvement of such entities as the rothschilds, vatican and al gore along with the ‘dream team’ from enron that composed the energy tax scam formulations of that corporation all add up to another farce propagated on an unsuspecting, uninformed by fact, population, that is overly dependent and trusting of a global media in acting in concert with their globalist masters.

Can you explain the inconsistency in the conservative ideals?

As a standard, the conservative party feels that the federal government is not suited to make policy decisions such as publicly funded programs, and that local government is a more capable body for protecting the interests of its citizens.

Alternately, the party supports capitalism, where the market should is free to make influential decisions in the interest of profit and growth... which in turn will offer more work opportunity and lower cost of goods.

I find these ideals inconsistent, in that the theory suggests that "big government" is incapable of catering to the needs of the population, but "big business" is capable of tuning into their needs in the pursuit of growth.

Recently federal government has managed to regulate one of the most distressed industries: health care. This is in response to the market's inability to supply the average worker with sufficient coverage or ample wage to purchase care, as well as the market's inability to offer its goods at an affordable price for the average consumer. As a result: the health care market grew huge profits while the cost of care rose and the amount of coverage sank.

Now that this nation has seen the devastating effects of deregulating or "freeing" the market, and the taxpayers have been drafted to foot the bill for sinking businesses... it still seems crazy that the conservative following is still advocating the very economical system that victimized them, while protesting the federal branch's attempt to even the score for the majority of americans who have been exploited by this system.

I just don't understand how "big government" is deemed unfit to enact laws for the betterment of its citizens, but "big business" is entrusted to practice within the interests of the public. The role of government is to ensure the liberties of its citizens, but the motive of commerce is profit at all means necessary. If big business has failed to live up to its responsibility to the consumer and the laborer, is it possible that federal policy like public health care could in fact be the solution to this nation's problems and liberate the labor class from its abusers?

Should the presidential veto be scrapped?

It wasn’t supposed to be democratic. It’s supposed to be a check on the power of the legislative branch. Which it is.There are many things in US government which are not democratic by design. The Supreme Court is not democratic (FDR, notably, complained about this and tried to respond with court-packing). It can overturn policies resulting from democracy—for example, overturning segregationist laws in the 1950s (Brown vs Board). This is by design: democracy may be unjust; the Constitution puts certain constraints on this. The Senate is not democratic. Less populous states have disproportionate power. This is by design: we are the United States of America. The federal government is, in every way (congress, electoral college, etc), directed by the states, not the people. By design. The Electoral College is not democratic, along the same lines as the Senate. The Constitution is not democratic. It occasionally prevents the will of the majority from being enacted. The USA is not a democracy and is not intended to be. I’ve always found it odd that anyone familiar with the Constitution could think otherwise.

How do Jewish voters and campaign contributors and members of AIPAC feel about 56 House and Senate Democrats and President Obama snubbing and boycotting Benjamin Netanyahu's speech on Israel's safety?

As an actual Jewish voter, I am not terribly pleased with anyone snubbing the Prime Minister of Israel. I don't believe these politicians were purposely trying to drive a wedge between the U.S. and Israel. They just see conservative politicians as a greater enemy than Teheran. More important were the adults who stood up. I was glad Netanyahu reached out to salve Obama's pride. And that he showed gratitude for US support - particularly, the Democrats. My senators (New Jersey) were both there: Menendez (D) and Booker (D). Menendez has forcefully denounced the Iran deal, ensuring Netanyahu's criticism is not mistakenly read as a partisan attack. Booker's role was even more important. As the leading black Democrat outside the administration, he blunted the potentially ugly spectacle of the Congressional Black Caucus walking out on the democratically-elected leader of Israel. What will more liberal Jews think? A few will be swayed by the liberal two-time Obama supporter Alan Dershowitz, who stated he would never support anyone boycotting Netanyahu's speech. A few more will be taken by Elie Wiesel's support for the speech. Many will not care. Let's be honest. Most Jews (80%?) are diehard liberal. I don't think many of the politicians (including the Jewish ones) will suffer much political pain from the Jews. The bigger question is what the rest of our nation thinks of the pols playing hooky.

Why is there such extreme differences of opinions on Trump?

Sadly, we’ve become a very divided, partisan country. The Republicans and Democrats have different views on many issues, but they have similarities too; They both like to invade and attack other countries, destroying them in the name of freedom, and maintaining perpetual war. This led to a power vacuum that led to ISIS/Islamic State. They both have little knowledge of the cultures and histories of other countries, especially the Middle East, which is why every foreign policy of their fails and makes things worse. They both don’t practice what they preach, and put the party ahead of their country. They’re both corrupt and cheat in elections in many ways, but 2016 was the worst in half a century.Oops………..I went off topic………………well, okay Trump is an efficient demagogue who easily manipulates Americans, who are often naive. Trump is not a Conservative, not a Christian and not a Patriot, but is thought that way by followers who would die for him.The Democrats strongly oppose Trump, who is anti environment, pro racist, pro religious bigotry, anti health care for the working poor (ACA), and is rude, crude and lacking in dignity, self respect, social skills and emotionally unstable. Democrats are the opposite in these areas ( I am a Democrat, but disgusted with the party although I still like Obama in most areas). However, put all of the above aside for a moment; The Democrats are powerless and helpless, they have no ability to do anything now. This is their fault, for not getting rid of a long obsolete DNC leadership that failed three elections and often running unqualified candidates at the state level. The Republicans have finally figured out Trump is not a conservative and not at all one of them. They are Trumps main opposition. They rejected his attempt to repeal and replace the ACA. They refused to fund any money for the wall this year (which means it’s really cancelled, after a year of hype). They got rid of Newt Gingrich at the height of his power for corruption (he was Speaker of the House) and they got rid of Evan Mecham, a former Republican governor who had caused a national boycott of Arizona. They will get rid of Trump as well, and this is not far away.
