Why Is The San Francisco Office Of Citizen Complaint Appears To Be Hypocrites When It Comes To The

Why do Democrats complain about Russian foreign interference in US elections, while demanding illegal foreigners be allowed to vote?

According to the linked article, that’s a bare majority, so it doesn’t represent the views of Democrats in general.Besides, the article doesn’t say what they are supposed to have the right to vote on. If the questions are set up the right way, you will find a lot of people who think tax-paying illegal immigrants should have the right to vote in local elections, on the grounds that they have a stake in the community, but not the right to vote in state or national elections. There’s no similarity between foreign interference in national elections and non-citizen residents voting in local elections. Two things to be cautious about when interpreting the reported results of polls are (1) that questions posed in different ways or in different contexts can elicit different answers, and (2) that results are often reported without stating the exact question that was answered and the context in which it was asked. Why do Democrats complain about Russian foreign interference in US elections, while demanding illegal foreigners be allowed to vote?

Why do people say if you don't vote you can't complain?

Because some people don’t realize that a non vote is the most democratic and legit protest of all, while voting a candidate that you don’t like is exactly what you shouldn’t do if you don’t want to make a hypocrite of yourself.I will make you a very very crude example. You have the right to choose your dinner based on two different options: a bowl of vomit and a bowl of shit. Are you happy? I didn’t think so. What are you going to do? You jump dinner. And you are damn right to complain and demand an edible option for the day to come. But let’s assume for a moment that you don’t have that right. So, you don’t like either option but you still pick one, because doing so you are allegedly entitled to complain, at least. Are you sure? Pick the bowl of shit and eat it: it’s disgusting, right? Can you complain about it? No: those who picked the bowl of vomit will tell you that you have no rights to complain about the bowl of shit since that’s what you picked despite having the other option available. So here is their logic:YOU: I don’t like shit. THEM: Then pick the vomit.YOU: I don’t like vomit. THEM: Then pick the shit.YOU: I don’t like either vomit or shit. THEM: Then don’t complain.

Why are liberals complaining about President Trump is a ''liar'', while every Democrat is a liar too, but they don’t have a problem to vote for them despite that?

Mostly because of the amount of times Trump lies or talks about things he does not understand, and gets basic things wrong, and then lies about how great of an understanding he has on that topic, and insults everyone who questions him or even, in his Secretary Defense’s case, challenges them to an IQ test.Educated liberals and educated conservatives don’t view Trump’s lies as morally or factually equivalent with a politician maybe exaggerating, or saying something that then turns out to not be true. Most people do not view Obama saying ‘you can keep your doctor’ as the same thing as Trump saying ‘A reporter for Time magazine — and I have been on their cover 14 or 15 times. I think we have the all-time record in the history of Time magazine,’ and then he has fake Times photos at his golf course. One is, at worst, a politician lying to get voters to support something (but probably more likely incompetence in planning for possible second order effects), the other is, at worst, indicative of a mental disorder.Trump has literally challenged a member of his cabinet to an IQ contest on national television. That is not normal. Its not just that Trump is lying, it is how inane the things he lies about are, how much he lies to keep his own ego afloat, and how obviously false his lies are.Trump is clearly not a mature adult. There are plenty of other celebrities who also fit that description, but Trump is in a position to constantly make himself an embarrassment. A solid majority of the US population notices this. Some conservatives may support him in spite of this fact, as they view allegiance to their party as very important, but that doesn’t change the fact that they think he is plain unpresidential, at best.Edit:Now Trump has been on Times 14 times, but at the time he made the comment on Jan 23 I suspect he hadn’t yet been on 14 times. That isn’t even the issue though. He is also talking about how he believes he was on the cover more than any other President.

What's it like living in a liberal state? How are the social attitudes in a liberal state?

I lived in Vermont for 22 years before moving to the Florida Panhandle (Pensacola).I guess I never really appreciated the generally liberal attitude Vermont has until I moved here.My first week at my job, a guy came up behind me while I was with a black co-worker and said “hey, can you help me? i don’t want to talk to any black people.” It ended up being that he was joking and knew my coworker, but that wasn’t the kind of joke I ever grew up hearing. It wasn’t funny to me, at all.Racism is deeply ingrained here. It’s an unmentioned and unquestioned part of life, that many minorities either don’t bother to confront in public or just simply don’t notice. When Dylann Roof shot nine people in Charleston and sparked a debate about what the Confederate flag represents, Pensacola residents went to the Pensacola Graffiti Bridge to paint the flag and attempt to educate their fellow citizens on what they believed it meant. I learned that night that, as one person put it to me, “that flag means n*****s sit at the back of the bus.” I still want to believe I was being trolled, but sadly I cannot. That was never something I had ever imagined happening, much less hearing, growing up in Vermont.I remember growing up in a state that legalized gay marriage early, I remember race not being much of an issue to anybody, at least as a white person. I never heard anybody spitting racist garbage about a minority group growing up in a liberal state. In the panhandle it seems like it’s hard to go a week with such a thing.I was asked once if I believed in guns, because I’d need them when the refugees came here to wage jihad. That was just last winter. But as I learn more about racial disparities and racial boundaries, I learn my own liberal state dislikes the Sudanese refugees we house and employ. I have seen comments on local cititzen swear in ceremonies in VT that complain about the lack of legitimate immigrants, something these very people were finishing up the process of.I think in liberal states, Vermont at least, racism is less overt. I cannot recall a single homophobic experience in Vermont. Racism ails the entire country, everywhere you go, however. Seeing it in it’s unchallenged state has only enabled me to more accurately identify the hidden kind I thought didn’t exist in a liberal place.
