Why am I so scared to get a job?
Hayley, you ARE already in the real world! As one of my contacts, I can tell you that I did not know you were 19. I thought you were much older. You are very articulate in expressing yourself, and extremely intelligent! You already interact with thousands of people......right here on YA! Yes, it is on the internet, but your thoughts can easily be translated into the spoken word. Your self confidence issue is the result that you are giving WAY too much credit to other people. We are all just regular folk trying to pay the bills, deal with kids, and only a small percentage of people love the work that they do. So, with that in mind, the best way to deal effectively on the phone is SO simple, even children have mastered this concept. Just be yourself! Normal pleasant voice, speak slowly, clearly, and always be nice. If you need something clarified, just say, "Would you kindly repeat that?"...And, oh, do they....most people who are on the other end will gladly help you! Try this: Go to the mall and in every shop, ask the clerk a question about the merchandise, or if they like working there. They will be happy to talk to you, and you will develop your interaction skills. Trust me, this works. Your goal is to speak with at least 25 people each time you go. Now, in addition, get out your phone book. Go to the restaurant section. Call and ask them what their hours are, what is the least crowded time, and what the specials of the day are. Again, they will be glad that you called. Thank them and continue to practice this exchange of info. Your goal is to call at least 10 per day. I actually should have suggested that you call the pet related businesses to ask a question, as that is where your interest lies! Maybe you could also secure a job in that industry. Sound silly? No, it is not. I have a son, almost 16 who hated the phone. Guess what.....after this type of exercise, he is now very confident, so I make him order all of the pizza! So, know that you are a valuable asset to us here, and you will have a lifetime of contributions to society! Call the woman, start your job, and Good Luck!

Well of course they should if they were actually patriotic Americans rather than party loyalis. Look though to be fair, what is going on now is “Obama’s tan suit scandal” vs an administration so full of scandal and wrong doing that the President’s unsecured phone is less than peanuts compared to everything else. Obama and HRC really did not do anything wrong or scandalous. Millions upon millions of dollars and decades were spent trying to find criminal or even scandalous behavior against HRC. There was nothing there. She was a hard working civil servant who had the misfortune of being a woman and a woman married to a man who was a real threat to the Republican party because he embraced everything that was good about the Republican party. Obama was so clean that they had to attack him for someone he might be associated, the way he saluted a soldier, or his clothing.So what it comes down to is that it isn’t that the insecurity of Trump’s phone isn’t important. It is that that importance does not reach critical mass for grabbing attention when there is so much more going on. If the MSM were concentrating on this issue then the Republicans would be forced to take a position and defend it. As it is, there is no reason for them to do so and politically there is reason to sweep it under the rug.
Is the media strongly biased against the Trump administration?
The media liked Obama and gave him 90% positive press no matter what he did.The media doesn’t like Trump and give him 90% bad press no matter what he does.Those are facts, not made up. Trump has done more for this country in a year and a half than most presidents do in two terms.While the press has a right to not disclose their sources, there are far too many “undisclosed sources” to take them seriously anymore. Many of their stories are outright lies. The Russian collusion thing is costing billions (well over $16 billion so far) with no credible results.Yes, the liberal press is strongly biased against Trump. If they weren’t, you’d hear about how awesome our economy is right now. Unemployment way down, wages up, taxes down, stock market up… Our economy recently surpassed Hong Kong’s. All those factory jobs that Obama claimed couldn’t be brought back without a magic wand are coming back. N. Korea is a sticky subject, but he’s got Kim talking. He brought hostages home. He caught top ISIS leaders. ISIS is barely heard of anymore because they’re not longer the worldwide threat that they were under Obama. And the list goes onAny other president in history would be getting amazing press and a parade for doing what this president has done.I don’t care if you like his personality or his tweets, he’s doing awesome stuff. That alone should be the judge of his presidency. And the left can only complain.Just for contrast, Obama traded five terrorists for a traitor. Trump got hostages back without giving anything in return. Obama got tons of POSITIVE press for his illegal trade. He gave money in exchange for prisoners. He left a US Marine to rot in a Mexican jail. No bad press for these things.The bias is so blatant it’s amazing anyone would have to ask the question.
